Revealing mistake: The protagonist starts his adventure in the triple-X rated world by gathering documentation. In the opening montage it's implied that he's making many trips to the store to rent different adult movies (the clock on the wall shows a different time and he dumps the cassettes on the counter each time in a different way), but every time it is always the same cassettes; different order but always the same ones - for instance a sky colored one called "Tricks", a bright pink one called "Untouchable", etc. (00:12:00)

Revealing mistake: JR is in the weapon container of the crazy dealer, who passes him some of his goods. JR ends up holding in his right arm a MP5K and an M4A1, which combined are about 5 kilos, but then he passes him an M60 Machine Gun, which weighs over 10 kilos and that the relatively diminutive protagonist just handles throughout the scene gripping it with his left hand and making no effort whatsoever. Revealing mistake: The nefarious villain has just revealed to Prince Charming that he has kidnapped the princess, and shows her to the crowd as a big burly smurfy monster is holding her. The crowd in unison gasps and looks horrified...except an extra who just can't keep a straight face. (00:07:35)

Revealing mistake: In the night shootout, Magnum cocks his pistol in a close-up that is obvious performed by a trained stunt double. Whoever is doing this is wearing the same clothes Magnum has but with the T-shirt in pristine condition straight from the washing machine, while Tom Selleck just took a dive in the dirt. Moreover, he wears the team ring upside-down. (00:22:50)

Billy Joe Bob - S2-E1

Revealing mistake: After wiring TC's chopper, Billy Joe Bob puts the headset on and looks behind him. When he turns his head to look, you can see that on the right pad there's something handwritten with an ink marker on it; "D. JONES." Makes no sense on TC's chopper, but much more sense when you know that the aerial coordinator and helicopter pilot for this season of the show is named in fact J. David Jones. (00:40:45)

Revealing mistake: In the opening of the second third of the season (the one with the iconic Mike Post theme) there is a brief scene with a car propelled in the air by an explosion. It's an outtake from the pilot movie, since the banged up car is very recognizable, but it's also easy to see why it was an outtake; you can easily see cables used to make the car fly in the air. Also, that car was not in an explosion in that episode.

Revealing mistake: In the final car chase, the military police radios for reinforcement; in the exterior shot that follows the one inside the limo with Rick on his back, foot on the cockpit, you can see quite distinctly the two stuntmen meant to be Magnum and Rick, and totally not looking like them. Revealing mistake: The prince and TC's protege have a fight when the spoiled kid is eliminated. They are supposed to be angry and serious, and the teammates too have worried faces, but in the shot when TC tells him that he's out of the game, against any logic the young actors are caught laughing. Revealing mistake: When Danny runs away from the baseball field, the camera pans towards the left and stops while several people in the fictional Jororo army uniform storm the area on foot and jeep. But to the far left in the distance, you can spot a legit Hawaiian cop at the roadblock used to film freely in the street. (00:02:35)

Revealing mistake: Danny runs away from the game, and is chased by army people on a jeep. The two cars (the jeep and another one parked there) have fictional license plates, supposedly from Jororo, since the opening caption specified "The Jororo Islands." However when the secret service guy and the coach have caught up with him, two cars in the supposed back alley of a normal Jororo suburb have Hawaii license plates - where the series was filmed. Revealing mistake: The prince runs away from the game and into the market, where army people on jeeps chase him. They crash goods, topple carts and all sort of destruction, but the extras in the market are actually having a great time and most of them just laugh while people with automatic weapons shove them aside and spill on the ground their stuff. Revealing mistake: Sam takes off from Van Nuys on his Super Stearman. We'll see him in Waco do all sort of acrobatics...but when he is first shown in the air right after talking with Richard Roundtree, you get a glimpse of another cockpit where the real pilot is, strapped with the safety belt that pokes in frame. Revealing mistake: When Magnum and friends sing "Silent Night" at the end, fake starry night background and dry ice clouds are perfectly discernable. (00:46:00)

Revealing mistake: The closing shot of the episode shows the lookout point platform where the suicide attempt happened...but also, below it, you can catch a glimpse of an additional platform, and a rope probably used for safety reasons as well. Needless to say, it was not featured in the dramatic shot of Holly looking down into the abyss. (00:46:55 - 00:47:40)

Revealing mistake: In the big climax, TC's chopper flies up from the cliff surprising the baddie with the gun. You can get a good view then of the pilot, which is not TC, but a white guy in a black ski mask. (00:45:45)
