Lupin III (2015)

Season 1 generally

Factual error: Every episode in the first half of this series begins with the same phrase and the same map of the Italian peninsula. Said map though misspells, in a very Japanese way, the north-eastern city of Trento, wrongly appearing as Torento. (00:00:01)

Factual error: Summer and Carmen are at the saloon and catch on the local news the report of the kidnapping. The scene is set in Tuscany, Italy, but the news anchor is Spanish actress Paz Vega, speaking with an obvious accent and mispronouncing words. To make the whole situation even more absurd, she is supposed to portray a native Italian speaker, "Giulia Carni": the last name is Italian sounding but nonexistent in reality, and the headline used for the news report, "Nonna-napper", "kidnapper of grandmother" has such an awkward and unnatural sound and feel in Italian and for an Italian audience, that nobody ever would use it. The Green Mill Murder - S1-E3

Factual error: When the compromising pictures of the lovers in bed are shown, it's also shown that some are taken in rapid succession, with Charles noticing, covering up, charging at the camera. All this quickfire shutter action would be really too much advanced paparazzi tech for the 20s! In the same episode Miss Fisher gets her mugshot taken and it's taken with a big and clunky camera. The Green Mill Murder - S1-E3

Factual error: At the beginning, Charles is trying to sell his airplane to Miss Fisher: he calls it a "Tiger Moth." The series is set in the 20s, and he should have simply said a "de Havilland Moth", which were the most popular recreational aircraft of the decade. The Tiger Moth though came out in 1931, making its mention an impossibility. (when we see the plane, it's a model manufactured in 1942, going by its registration number).

Dark Phoenix (2019)

Factual error: In the car at the beginning of the movie, Jean uses her telekinetic powers to switch the radio from a station playing "By the time I get to Phoenix" by Glen Campbell to Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London." It's 1975, and Zevon recorded the song only in 1978 (although the song itself had already been written in 1975, other artists played it in live concerts in the Fall of that year). (00:01:30)

Tooth Fairy (2010)

Factual error: Derek's license plate not only contains an illegal character (and Michigan's Secretary of State seems to be quite strict on vanity plates too), but also the state of MI issues just one plate. Derek's car has identical Michigan plates both front and back.

Queen of the Flowers - S1-E9

Factual error: The calendar behind Hugh when Dot restores the beer coaster points at November, consistent with the pacing of the show. It's not a November 1928 calendar, though, the first day should have been a Thursday. (00:24:00)

Expelled (2014)

Factual error: When Felix reveals Roxy/Stacy's IP to the world, it is 195.243.245. That is not a valid IP, it is missing the fourth octet. (00:14:00)

Misspent Youth - S1-E2

Factual error: Kai checks out his phone repeatedly and the date indicated is "Wed, Aug 22." Just a scene after, Jenny is shown with an August 2019 calendar in the background. August 22 2019 was a Thursday, not a Wednesday. (00:06:00)

Shaft in Africa (1973)

Factual error: Facing the mysterious fighter from Africa in his apartment, Shaft shoots him twice with no results. It is later revealed that he was wearing a bulletproof vest, but it's the overpowered movie kind: the guy doesn't suffer from the impact of the bullet in the slightest. Not just that: there's not a single hole or mark on his white robe in that scene. (00:08:40)

Unfriended (2014)

Factual error: It's the one year anniversary of Laura's death, which, according to what is stated on the LiveLeak page and other parts of the movie, happened on April 12, 2013. The clock on the computer desktop says "Mon 8:57", but April 12, 2014 would be a Saturday. (00:00:40)

Factual error: The credits roll closes with the caption "San Francisco...seven thousand miles away from Casablanca." San Francisco is less than 6,000 miles away from Casablanca. (00:03:20)

Shaft (2019)

Factual error: During the FBI briefing, the coordinates of the mosque supposedly in Harlem are shown on screen long enough to allow you to read them. The coordinates are 34.1234379 -117.177613, which would put the mosque somewhere in California. (00:09:45)
