Other mistake: As Crittendon pops through the wall, it is easily seen that the wall is Styrofoam, or other similar easily moldable material.

Other mistake: As the Governor looks at the gorilla sentries, he is looking about forty-five° across the aim of the cannon next to him. When the cannon is fired at the gorillas, they are directly downrange of the cannon. After they're killed, he's again looking across the cannon's aim.

Other mistake: As the opening credits roll, the helicopter that brought officials in is taking off. Trouble is, the sand is rushing in back under the chopper rather than blowing away from the rotor wash.

Other mistake: As Taylor realises what man did in the years from his leaving until his return, he is slamming his fist on the dirt screaming "Damn you all to hell." In the first Apes movie, he didn't give this final line until he was amid the surf waters, but here the water was a couple feet from him.

Other mistake: As the Apes first appear on horseback, as the second one from the camera's left turns around, you can see that the rifle doesn't have an ammo clip in it.

Other mistake: After the rocket hits the water, the view of the landscape bobs up and down. But the movement at the top and bottom of the view are slightly jerky rather than the smooth stop and go that a real bobbing craft would have.

Other mistake: As the Romulan commander goes to answer the intercom, the switch she touches to open the link is already on, probably left that way from a previous take.

Other mistake: In the cells, the particular strip of metal Kirk pulls loose has rivets that are noticeably different than the rest, making it easier to pull loose.

Other mistake: When examining the craft in the hangar, it's reported there are no seams or any way in or out, but when the camera focuses on the man's hand, you can see the seam where the hatchway will be.

Other mistake: After opening the abandoned elevator, the Penguin tells his cohorts to hold their breaths because of lingering gas, and there was no real sign of it. However, before the elevator, there was colored gas all over, and he walked through with no ill effects, and held his breath with the others.

Other mistake: As the Enterprise comes out of warp in galaxy M33, the conference lounge is visible and is a re-use of the opening sequence. The movements of the people is identical.

Other mistake: As Admiral Boom's assistant is loading the cannon a third time, he puts the red rocket in nose first rather than stick first.

Other mistake: When Admiral Boom orders the gun to fire on "the Hottentots" (the sweeps) the rockets sticking out are in the order of a small red on top, a large green in the middle, and a large red on the bottom. A moment later, he orders another salvo, but the rockets are in the same arrangement. The chances of the arrangement being identical twice, unless done carefully, are very slim.

Other mistake: After Bert and the others dancing on a railing that should have moved, as it did when they jumped off, three sweeps walk back and forth on their hands over the street between buildings. After dropping to only their toes to hold them up, you see them drop all the way down, then stand, where there was no surface in sight to do that on.

Other mistake: After Mikey is gone, the guard comes down the embankment. As he does, the background "sky" now seems to have a long multi-story building outlined in it.
