Venom (2018)
Plot hole: At the angle of descent and the speed it was traveling (still burning from reentry even), when the space shuttle crashed in the opening of the film, it would not have left much of anything behind. The kinetic explosion that would have resulted would have downed the forest around it for a good distance leaving a crater, and the clean up crews would have been lucky to find any piece of the ship itself still intact bigger than a football. Much less been able to find any discernible remains of the crew. Yet bodies were being taken out in still relatively good condition. And probably most unbelievable is that the glass containers holding the Symbiotes were not even broken.

Suggested correction: Since this is in the Marvel universe the capsule could have at least partially been made of Vibranium or Adamantium.
Adamantium is exclusive to the X-Men films which for the time being are under Fox, and Vibranium is exclusive to films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This film is part of neither. There were rumors and speculation prior to this film's release that it would be adjunct to the MCU, but there are things within the film that contradict it. Particularly Eddie Brock being dismissive of the symbiote being an alien life form. An alien invasion was one of the major plot points of the first Avengers film, so an alien being wouldn't be something people would be skeptical of going forward.

I just thought that although there can't be a mention of Vibranium, it doesn't mean it's not there. What I mean is if Vibranium softens the bow of the impact the glass containers would stay intact. But I suppose if it's not allowed to exist for the films, then I guess it doesn't exist. The glass can be nanotechnology though.
I see what you're saying, but that wouldn't mater with an impact like that. Space Shuttles are even made of Titanium, and would still be smashed to millions of little pieces from a reentry impact like that. The momentum and resulting kinetic explosion would devastate everything around it and level the forest for a good distance, leaving a massive creator, possibly as big or bigger than a football field. We are talking a few megatons of force.
This movie is not set in the Marvel Universe. It has been confirmed by the film crew that Venom is a standalone movie so it doesn't take place in the MCU at all.
I didn't say MCU, I said Marvel Universe. Some Marvel Universe anyway.
There's only the MCU and since this movie doesn't take place in it, the ship is probably only made from the materials that most rocket ships are constructed from.

Corrected entry: Thanos' henchmen could not know that Vision was in Wakanda to get the stone from his forehead.
Correction: Seeing as how they were able to locate Vision and Wanda in Scotland earlier in the movie, the stones most likely give off some signature that certain individuals can track if they are skilled enough. Thanos, for example, knew at the beginning of the film that two of the stones were located on Earth.
In that case Thanos could know where was the stone of the soul but he didn't, why he didn't use that skill then?
Or they could have tracked the Quinjet they flew with the entire time.

Stupidity: When the Keymaker is closing the door to the room that leads to the Source, he stands in the doorway resulting in the multiple Agent Smiths gunning him down. He could have easily closed the door without standing in the doorway and consequently would have lived.

The point of the stupidity is that he shouldn't have been in the doorway at all, even if the door wasn't bulletproof, there was no need for him to even stand behind the closed door. He could have pushed the door closed from the side.
It seems to be a heavy door, he simply couldn't close it with just his arm, thus he had to move his body forwards in order to close it. In that brief moment he got shot before the door closed. He could have for example kicked the door shut but he simply didn't think of that at that moment, also not knowing the Smiths were about to fire a volley of bullets at them.

Suggested correction: Not necessarily a mistake. Little kids can have a hard time keeping track of/focusing on things. I know little kids that have a hard time looking in the direction of the camera when their picture is being taken.
There's a difference between not looking at a camera when you don't care about having your picture taken and being able to follow superheroes that pass you, especially if you're waving at them. The reason it's a revealing mistake is because everyone involved had to pretend superheroes were passing them and the kid didn't know when to turn.

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Corrected entry: At the beginning of the film Heimdall sends the Hulk to earth to warn them Thanos is on his way. When Strange finds him, he's Banner and he remembers everything. The problem is in Thor: Ragnarok Banner had been the Hulk for 2 years and had no memory of what had happened during that time. He shouldn't remember what happened with Thanos either.
Correction: We don't know enough about Banner's transformations into the Hulk to say definitively what he should or shouldn't remember. It's implied in "Thor: Ragnarok" that each of them had "one hand on the wheel" but that the Hulk was trying to completely take over, which would account for Hulk being in control for two years and Banner not remembering anything. By the time Hulk fights Thanos in this film, the Hulk had only been around for a short amount of time (a few hours at most), so it's entirely possible that Banner could remember most if not everything that happened in that timeframe.
Correction: At the end of Thor: Ragnarok he had returned to his form as Bruce Banner. We don't know when he transformed back into Hulk, but it was presumably after Thanos attacked the ship. Therefore Bruce would be aware of Thanos as a threat. He may not have transformed until the moment before he charged Thanos, in which case he would have heard a lot of Thanos' plan.
He actually transformed back into the Hulk while on Asgard to fight Fenris the wolf. Assuming they've been flying for several weeks when Thanos attacks, the Hulk would have been in control the entire time since he never transformed back. More than likely the reason Banner remembers Thanos is because he warns them as he is transforming back from the Hulk. We also see the Hulk communicating with Banner more during the film (in his refusal to help out) so while Hulk doesn't want to actually come back out, Banner is still able to retain the information that Hulk possesses.
Yes. He would have most likely turn as soon as there was a threat. So he wouldn't know Thanos was coming to earth. Banner knew how big a threat Thanos was which he wouldn't know if he turned right away.

Trivia: Spoiler: Logan dies at the end, covered in blood and holding his daughter Laura's hand. Director James Mangold has acknowledged that this is a callback to a scene from "The Wolverine" in which Yukio, who can foresee how a person will die, said she saw a vision of Logan covered in blood and holding his heart in his hand. Laura being a metaphor for Logan's heart in this instance.

Suggested correction: While this is true, it's important to remember that later in the lab (the parasite removal scene) Yukio specifically says "I saw you die in a room like this with your heart in your hand."
A minor discrepancy in Yukio's vision doesn't invalidate what the director of both films himself considers to be an important point in the narrative.
I didn't say that it invalidated anything. In fact, I started my comment by agreeing that it was true. I was just pointing out that her vision wasn't exactly the same.

Corrected entry: According to Kruger's supervisor Leigh is supposed to be a high level executive at Cyrez and seems to have known her boss for a long time. So why in the would there be anywhere in the building that she wouldn't have access to that she would also need a code she didn't already have?
Correction: This is a question, not a mistake. The fact that she's a high-ranking employee doesn't automatically mean that she would have full security clearance to everywhere in the building. If anything, the fact that her boss was into some shady deals would be a pretty good reason why she wouldn't be given full clearance.

Other mistake: When Carter is basically trying to kill himself with the remaining "survivors" in his car, Billy makes a comment saying that when he saw Alex leaving Mrs. Lewton's place, Alex's shoe prints were in her blood and his prints were on the knife. All good and fine but there's just one thing that doesn't make much sense. Her house blew up right after he ran out, so could anyone still pull off any prints from the knife that killed her, and see footprints by her body? Wouldn't that evidence be gone in the explosion?

Suggested correction: Not necessarily. An explosion doesn't mean that everything around it is incinerated. Depending on where the explosion originated, certain items can be shielded from the blast/fire by larger objects, and I believe they mentioned that the fire caramelized the bloody footprints.

Suggested correction: Given that he has prepared the lab to be shrunken and mobilized at a moment's notice, he probably thought of this ahead of time and secured everything important in place.
Perhaps he could secure some things, but there's never so much as a computer monitor out of place.
It's a fair point. I agree that some things should definitely be out of place, but given the importance of what he is working on, he would take measures to ensure that the important things wouldn't become damaged and inoperative when the lab is being moved around. We see on at least one occasion that he has ants roaming the lab, so it's possible he trained them to ensure that the Quantum Gate and any device essential to its operation are protected at all times.
In a world in which a man becomes the size of an ant, I guess any correction could be invalidated. I this case, there are any number of reasons why everything, down to paper and pens, never moves. Maybe the ants pick them all up. Maybe gravity works differently when shrunk. This means that basically any movie that uses magic or magic type technology would never have a valid mistake.

X-Men: First Class (2011)
Corrected entry: In First Class, Professor X is made handicapped in 1962 at the end of the movie. In the previous X-men movie, he was walking when he visited the girl (Jean) in the mid 70s with Magneto.
Correction: In the next sequel, "Days of Future Past", it is established that there is at least one method by which Charles Xavier can temporarily regain his ability to walk to short periods of time. It is very possible that he was using one of these methods while visiting the young Jean.
Correction: It was also stated that Xavier cannot use his telepathic powers when using the serum, but does when they are talking to Jean. He catches her reading his and even Magneto's mind and especially the latter wasn't just a wild guess. It is very unlikely that he used the serum at this point in time since he has turned his back on it after the events shown in DoFP.
In Days of Future Past, it is never explicitly stated the serum stops Xavier's powers, instead, McCoy explains after Logan questions the actions of the professor that he "designed a serum to treat his spine" derived from his designed to control his 'Beast'. He goes on to say Charles takes "too much." It is possible that after Days of Future Past, Xavier could have pulled back a little, taking just enough to help him walk but not block his mutation.
"The Last Stand" takes place in a different timeline than "Days of Future Past" though. It's possible that in the original timeline, Xavier later used an improved serum that granted him the ability to walk while still retaining his powers, but then stopped using eventually due to it becoming ineffective, harmful to his body or out of concerns of becoming addicted to it.

Definitely. There would be no reason to go through the expense and effort to digitally erase them from his hand when they could simply film him dropping them to the ground. The fact that they disappear as his suit is forming around him infers that they are part of the nanotech.
