![The Dark Crystal picture](/images/titles/4000-4999/4199_sm.jpg)
Question: When Jen looks at the shard, he sees in image of a Skeksis striking the crystal, but why when the beings of light appear, do they say that they were the ones responsible for shattering it?
Answer: The skeksis and the beings of light are the same, each being a different side (good and bad) therefore it was there evil side (the skeksis) that struck the crystal.
![A Christmas Carol picture](/images/titles/8000-8999/8273_sm.jpg)
Question: Can someone please explains this? When Marley visits Scrooge, it's Christmas Eve. Marley tells Scrooge that he will be haunted by three ghosts. The first ghost would appear tomorrow when the bell tolls one. Meaning that the first ghost would appear on Christmas day. The second would appear the next night at the same hour. December 26th. And the final spirit would appear the following night at twelve o'clock. December 27th. When Scrooge is talking to the boy outside his window after the visitations, the boy tells him it's Christmas Day.
Answer: It's basically the magic of Christmas. While, to Scrooge, three full days have passed, in reality his whole experience took place in a single night, allowing the reformed Scrooge to enjoy Christmas Day.

Question: 1. Is it or is it not Robin Williams who does the voices of Ramon and Lovelace? I am seeing conflicting information on imbd.com that says that it was, in fact, Robin Williams. Then on the cast and crew page, it says that Dan Castellaneta did the voice of Ramon. What gives? 2. I heard something to the effect that the scene with the sea gull/albatross, who was voiced by Steve Irwin, was deleted because he had died before the movie was released. I also read/heard that he did the voice of one of the elephant seals, too. Which elephant seal was he? 3. And finally, in the "Boogie Wonderland" scene, the Hispanic penguins sing/rap something in Spanish. What are they saying?
Chosen answer: 1. Check the end credits in the movie, both Lovelace and Ramon are voiced by Robin Williams. Dan Castellaneta did the voice in the Happy Feet video game. 2. It is true that there was a scene with Steve Irwin as a seagull that was taken out, it's on the DVD. He is the elephant seal that says something along the lines of "One day you're swimming, next day, fun food."

Question: How did Tiana know that Naveen was going to marry Lottie? We don't find out until later that Lottie has to kiss Naveen in order for the spell to be broken and sure Lottie was attracted to Naveen but still, marriage wasn't mentioned so how did Tiana know? Did I miss something?
Answer: Naveen told Tiana about his plan to marry Lottie once they arrived in the swamp. After revealing that he's been cut off by his parents, he explains that he plans to regain his wealth by marrying her so that he'll inherit her father's prosperity.
Answer: Mama Odie tells Tiana and Naveen that Naveen must kiss a true princess in order to break the spell. Lottie is the princess of the Mardi gras parade so that would make her a princess and that would make it necessary for her to kiss Naveen and break the spell.
Tiana knew that Naveen was going to marry Lottie because Naveen tells her when they are running away from danger in the bayou. Naveen says 'when I marry Miss Charlotte LaBouff...' in an attempt to explain to Tiana how he intends to be rich again.
Naveen wasn't looking to marry a princess, just a "little honey whose daddy got dough", as said by the Shadow Man.

Question: I think that there is one scene in which Rafe (Gluck) has braces on his teeth - but he does not for the rest of the movie. The scene is the one when he sneaks back into his bedroom and his sister is waiting for him because she overheard the fiancé telling the kids' mother that Rafe should go to military school - it is a touching scene in front of Rafe's bedroom window. Am I right that he has braces in that scene but not in any others?
Answer: That's correct.

Question: At the end of the movie, at one point, Francis loses the stick bug. While looking for him, he says, "I'm right here, the only stick with eyeballs!" or something like that. Can he actually be found on the screen or, for comedic purposes, was it impossible to find him?
Answer: For comedic purposes, it's impossible to find him.

Question: When the animals go to tell the dwarves about the witch trying to kill Snow White, why is Grumpy all of a sudden concerned about her? He's the first one to say that they have to go rescue her and then is leading them back to the cottage, although up to that point he hasn't liked her at all.
![Minions picture](/images/titles/11000-11999/11099_sm.jpg)
Question: It is 1968, and in the trailer it says "42 B.G" which 42 years later would be 2010, which is the first film. But the ending of this movie implies that the minions have been working for Gru since he was a child. So why is "42 years Before Gru"?
Chosen answer: The writers wanted to keep Gru's cameo at the end of the film a secret for the fans of the franchise. So, saying "42 Years B.G" (before Gru) in the trailer doesn't give the surprise away.

Answer: We are not shown how they got out of the tar.

Question: Why does the Colonel let Spirit escape at the end of the movie? I know it's meant to be a sign of respect. But why would they respect each other? In my opinion they have no reasons to have mutual respect.
Answer: Because the colonel saw that Spirit and Little Creek had a strong bond, and how hard Spirit had worked for his freedom.
Logically, it never should've started. All of this trouble for a single horse while there's important military duties and concerns should've never really happened. You could argue that it was to chase Little Creek, but the Colonel never regards him. It was all for Spirit.
Answer: Because he probably gave up.
![Megamind picture](/images/titles/8000-8999/8680_sm.jpg)
Question: Throughout the film, Megamind transforms himself to take the appearance of other characters. Early on in the film, these characters are killed (or otherwise disposed of), allowing Megamind to take their appearance. Near the end of the film, Megamind takes Metro Man's appearance, but Metro Man is not dead (we see him as retired after faking his death, then specifically in the crowd scene at the Megamind museum opening). Is this an error, or is there some other reason why Megamind doesn't need to kill Metro Man to take his appearance?
Answer: The characters are only 'disposed of' so that they won't be able to reveal Megamind's deception. Remember, the warden wasn't killed and neither was Megamind when the warden was transformed into him. It is not necessary for the device to function that the individual being copied be eliminated.
![The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water picture](/images/titles/10000-10999/10938_sm.jpg)
Question: Even though it claims to be the sequel to the first SpongeBob movie, there's no Krusty Krab 2 and Plankton is somehow out of prison and continues trying to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula. Is this movie one of those "prequel" episodes made after the first movie came out?
Answer: The first movie is actually set after the series finale of the show. This is because Stephen Hillenburg wanted the show to end at the Season 3 finale and for the first movie to conclude the series, but Nickelodeon disapproved, since the show was making them heaps of money. So the second movie is probably in line with the episodes after Season 3 and before the series finale. So no, it is probably not a prequel. If we look at it from a logical point of view, Plankton could have been released or escaped, and the Krusty Krab 2 could've closed. We don't know how far apart the episodes and movies are set in terms of time. The series has lots of inconsistencies anyway.
![The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea picture](/images/titles/2000-2999/2011_sm.jpg)
Question: If King Triton is the king of the sea, wouldn't he knew where Morgana was hiding? Do the humans know that Ariel and Melody are mermaids then if they do, do you think that those snotty kids would had told Melody?
Answer: King of the Sea does not mean psychic powers that allow him to be able to snuff out everyone's location. Only power he has is through the trident, which obviously cannot pinpoint location as he couldn't find Ariel when she was missing. It's likely the humans have no idea of the family's mermaid history, because yes, the snotty kids probably would have greatly teased Melody for it.

Question: When Susan grew after being affected by the Quantonium meteorite, why do no other life forms, such as insects in the grass, not also grow?
Chosen answer: Well, it's a fiction movie; some suspension of disbelief is always needed. There could be a number of explanations: for instance, lifeforms such as insects on the grass, bacteria inside them or even grass itself, being unable to absorb quantonium. It might affect only sentient beings. Or Susan might even be the first being to get in contact with the substance - this would be possible depending on the shape of the meteorite container, the exact means by which quantonium touches her body - which isn't shown... but, first and foremost, this happens because its not happening would leave the filmmakers with a plot issue to be dealt with - so, other beings don't grow simply because they don't.

Question: How was the rain scene accomplished?
Answer: It was added at the edit. During the animation, the animators just made little sprinkles on the characters so it would look like the rain actually hit them.

![Anastasia picture](/images/titles/0-999/62_sm.jpg)
Question: Anastasia basically lost most of her memories from hitting her head, as well as the possible trauma of what happened to her the night her family was killed. Could someone really lose most of their memories that way?
Answer: Amnesia exists, but it is a temporary condition. It does not last for the long-term and people usually regain their memory in a day or two, sometimes up to a week. Extreme cases can last longer, but not in the way it is depicted in movies. Some people may lose memories due to severe brain damage from a traumatic injury, but that is permanent.
Answer: They never would have found him after CU slapped him far away. Plus Harold destroyed the shrink/grow machine so PP ended up permanently small, meaning someone could easily squish him if he tried anything evil again.
