Question: How come Sadness was the only one who could change the emotion of the memory orb? Don't we sometimes look back at things we thought we were scared of or sad about, and laugh at them? How come the other emotions can't change them the way Sadness can?

Question: Hey I haven't seen a few bits of the movie but does Humpty trick Puss with that bank? And How does the middle of the P that Puss cuts with his sword at the start of the movie stay in place?
Answer: The middle of the P stays in place because it's an animation. Humpty told Puss he owed people money and they were coming for him, but he really robbed a bank. The guards thought Puss was involved. They tried to arrest him, but Puss scratched one in self defence. He escaped on a wagon and the money accidentally fell off a bridge. He was on the run ever since.

Question: Yukon has a gun - why he didn't just shoot the snow creature at the cave?

Question: When Arlo and Spot first see another human, Spot moves toward that human as if he was willing to join him to bond as a family. Arlo stops Spot from approaching the other human and places him on his back so to continue taking him home. Arlo decides he wants to share his family with Spot and keep him safe in his family house. By the end of the film, the same human Arlo and Spot saw in the distance earlier shows up along with his family. Spot joins the family. Why does Arlo decide to let Spot go this time?
Chosen answer: Because he's realized that Spot wants to go and should go with his people. Before he was afraid of losing him.

Question: Were the writers/directors ignorant to cow/bull terminology and anatomy? Even if one agrees that "cow" can be used to refer to either sex, the male "cows" in this movie should not have utters.
Answer: This is a children's movie and is presented in a manner that will be understandable and familiar for the target audience.

Question: Does anyone know what the joke is about Matt Damon always calling out his name? Is it supposed to be a reference to something?
Answer: I read an interview with Trey Parker and Matt Stone where they said that they had not intended for it to be that way but that when they made the Matt Damon puppet, it looked so retarded that they thought it would be funny to just have him be retarded in the movie and only say his name. They said it was nothing personal against Matt Damon.

Question: Why did the king and queen disappear when the king signed the contract? The deal was that Fiona will be saved from the curse if he did - but Fiona wasn't saved at all. Was the contract void from something?
Answer: Rumpelstiltskin used a contract that 'made all their problems disappear'. He didn't reference any specific problem and the king and queen assumed it would cure the curse. However, it just makes the king and queen disappear, and since they have disappeared, they will no longer have any problems.

Question: In the trivia section, it says, "Look at the pictures the TV guy takes out of the filing cabinet", but it doesn't say what's there. I don't have the video, could someone please fill me in?
Answer: It is referring to a moment during the song "Worthless" toward the end of the movie, right before the Red Car sings. The photos he takes out have pictures of what looks like some exotic dancers on them.

Question: How could Shen know that Po would be the baby panda from the village attacked by Shen's army?
Answer: Since Po's father was presumably the only panda to attack Shen's wolves head-on, there's a chance Shen could have seen him. Plus in the flashback, Shen orders his wolves to attack Po and his mother before Po's father defends them both with his mallet.

Question: When Carl and Ellie are married, why are there only a few wedding guests for the groom and why the long faces while the guests for the bride are so excited and celebrating the wedding?
Chosen answer: Carl and Ellie have two dramatically different personalities. Carl is more conservative, more reserved, a tender heart covered by a tough exterior which Ellie is able to break through, but which seems to recalcify after she dies. Ellie, on the other hand, is the sweet free spirit, rambunctious and adventurous. Throughout the film, each one conforms to the other until they ultimately blend into one beautiful unit. I think the makers of the film were trying to show that their respective personalities were a product of their upbringing, and reflected in the reactions of their families - hers larger, more fun, and more "hick" (we hear gunshots, for Pete's sake), and his more reserved, formal and patrician.

Question: Now that JL: War has been released, what is the meaning of the teaser at the end of Flashpoint? It hints at the invasion by Darkseid, however, in JL: War none of the superheroes have met and Cyborg had only just been created. Did the events of JL: War happen before Flashpoint, therefore, rendering the teaser moot? This is concerning over future animated DC film teasers (i.e. JL: War teasing Throne of Atlantis) and how much should be considered accurate, time-wise.
Answer: Flashpoint Paradox is supposed to be the story of why the New 52 universe came to be. The Flash did fix what he changed, but that did cause other changes and still created a new time line. Flashpoint Paradox and JL War are not in the same continuity. But one does INDIRECTLY cause the other. Though that is more the case with the comics, and not so much for the movies, as there are differences in the adaptations. The teaser at the end of Flashpoint was more or less just teasing DC's next film to come and not necessarily a sequel. Throne of Atlantis is a direct sequel to War though.

Question: What happened to the one Native American that Governor Ratcliffe shot? I know he went back to the village for treatment but what happened to him afterwards? Did he die?
Answer: This is a question the movie chose not to answer. It could be assumed he died as the Powhatans did not have the knowledge to treat gunshot wounds. However, there were cases even as far back as this time of individuals being able to survive gunshot wounds as long as the bleeding could be stopped and infection didn't spread. As the Powhatans did know herbs in the land to treat infections and did know how to mend bleeding; it is also possible he lived though he would have walked with a limp for the rest of his life.

Question: After the saber-tooth squirrel named Scrat was eaten by a shark, how did he get out of it?
Answer: Because he is a survivor and this is a cartoon. There were plenty of other times through the series scrat was put in a deadly situation only to return later. In the first movie alone he was trampled by a dinosaur, electrocuted with a lightning bolt, and frozen in ice until he thawed near the volcano thousands of years later.

Answer: For example prince Eric's ship/s from "the Little Mermaid" and the Susan Constant from "Pocahontas".

Question: The aliens in the form of Hall and Oates tell the heroes that the rules have been violated and they will attack. How and why were they violated?
Answer: The rules were violated when Eddie used cheat codes during the "Pac-Man" round in order to have an unfair advantage over the aliens; this is similar to how Xbox achievements and/or PS3/4 trophies are disabled when cheat codes are active.
Answer: Sadness can change the memories because of Riley's current situation: she has left the home she loved to move to a new city. This makes her happy memories more susceptible to being changed to sad memories. As she remembers things that used to make her happy they now make her sad because she hasn't accepted her new house as home yet. Presumably under the right circumstances the other emotions could do the same thing, just not all the time.
