Peter Pan (2003)

Continuity mistake: After Wendy sees John, Michael and the Lost Boys tied up she gasps in a wide shot, in which the pirates are spread out all around. A pirate puts a gag at her mouth and in the next close-up three pirates gather just behind the kneeling boys as Hook walks by to talk to Wendy with other pirates gathered round. In the next wide shot there are no pirates directly behind the boys and everyone is positioned the same way as the previous wide shot, those three specific pirates are in three different areas. Other pirates are in completely different spots as well between the close-up and following wide shot. (01:10:00)

Peter Pan (2003)

Deliberate mistake: After Hook orders the crew into the rigging, Peter lands on deck holding Wendy. There is a close-up of Hook's face as he walks back down the stairs, then the next wide shot of Cookson, the very tall pirate up in the rigging, is flipped. (The shot before he points the gun.) Peter Pan (2003)

Continuity mistake: When Wendy walks the plank she stands at the edge and as the camera faces her the brilliant sunlight from behind her highlights the plank and casts a long bright shadow in front of her, contrary to the dark wood plank in the overhead shots. (01:20:10)

Peter Pan (2003)

Continuity mistake: Aboard the Jolly Roger, when Wendy walks the plank in the close-ups the knot of the blindfold around her eyes is at the right side of her head, yet, in the overhead shots the knot is at the back of her head. (01:20:10)

Peter Pan (2003)

Continuity mistake: After Wendy sews the shadow onto Peter the light in the nursery brightens. The items in the room cast their own shadows, for example, the clock and light fixture over Michael's beds. These shadows change drastically in the following shots, until they fly off to Neverland. Peter Pan (2003)

Revealing mistake: When Peter flies into the nursery searching for his shadow, he follows Tink into the hallway. The red window draperies fit the width of the hall in this and other shots. However, in the close-up after Peter opens the drawer, he grabs his shadow as it flies up and the draperies are visible. In this shot, not only are the draperies much narrower, but the hallway ceiling is now much wider to allow the shadow to stretch while trying to get away. (00:13:10)

Peter Pan (2003)

Continuity mistake: When Tink flies into the nursery and zips around searching for Peter's shadow she flies into Nana's house and in this shot Michael's bed is more than a foot away from the nightstand. In the next overhead shot Michael's bed is much closer to the nightstand. Michael's blanket differs considerably as well. (00:12:25)

Peter Pan (2003)

Continuity mistake: In the nursery, behind Michael's and John's beds there are many small soldiers and horses perched on the chair rail (decorative molding). The position/amount of these soldiers and horses differ significantly in consecutive shots within the scene before they leave for Neverland and also within the scene when they eventually return. (00:12:25 - 01:35:25)

Peter Pan (2003)

Continuity mistake: After the children return home, when Mr. Darling welcomes the Lost Boys to the family the boys all jump on him and then Michael pours the treasure onto the floor. In these and the rest of the shots the small red rug is in the middle of the floor, a completely different position than the previous shots, where it was under the table. (01:38:45)

Peter Pan (2003)

Continuity mistake: When the children return home, in a wide shot as they look around the nursery while their mother sleeps in the chair, the table's two legs are positioned near the outer edge of the small red rug. When Mrs. Darling walks out of the room the table is pushed farther back, close to the bookcase. The little rug near the corner curio changes between shots as well. (01:35:15)

Audio problem: At the battle on the fields of Pelennor, before Legolas leaps onto the Mûmak, as he kills the Orcs audibly he shouts, "Fifteen! Sixteen!"; however, visually his lips do not. (02:12:05)

Shine (1996)

Factual error: When young David and his father show up at Ben Rosen's house, there is a Jewish mezuzah (a handwritten tiny scroll of parchment with a passage from the Bible enclosed in a case) affixed to the doorpost. The position of the mezuzah is incorrect. It should be higher up on the door jamb and the top should be angled towards the house, not the other way round. (00:15:00)

Visible crew/equipment: After the pirate pries the gold bowl off his head Elizabeth whacks him, then she and Will stave off the other two pirates' swords as together they hold the gold bar overhead. At the start of the next shot as Barbossa and Jack duel, part of the wood plank that Geoffrey Rush and Johnny Depp stand on is visible at the bottom right of the screen. (This is ONLY visible on the video version.)

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl mistake picture

Visible crew/equipment: After Barbossa is shot by Jack, Barbossa pulls apart his jacket to reveal the wound. In this close-up, behind Barbossa to his left, the blue cloth/mat is visible at the bottom of the screen lying on the treasure pile. It was obviously not there in the previous shots. (Though this is visible on the DVD, a better view is on the video.) (02:01:20)

Revealing mistake: When the combined Rohirrim/Gondorian army halt upon arrival at the Black Gate, Aragorn rides up and stops beside Legolas in the close-up. Éomer's double, who has a much fuller and longer beard, is blatantly visible behind Aragorn in this full frontal shot. (02:28:25)

Visible crew/equipment: After Will rescues Jack from the gallows they end up on the parapet surrounded by soldiers. As Will and Jack spin around facing the soldiers closing in on them, part of the camera equipment, which moves, is visible at the bottom right of the screen. (This is ONLY visible on the video version.)

Visible crew/equipment: After Will puts the explosive inside skeletal Jacoby he exclaims, "No fair!" before he and the two other pirates blow up. In the very next shot of Barbossa, as he duels with Jack, the edge of the large wood plank that Geoffrey Rush and Johnny Depp stand on near the pile of treasure is plainly visible at the bottom of the screen. It can also be seen on DVD 2. (This is ONLY visible on the video version.)

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl mistake picture

Visible crew/equipment: Before being marooned on the 'spit of land,' Elizabeth stands on the Pearl's gangplank. In her close-ups, with the island in the distance, the long 'metal pipe' guardrails are visible behind her in three shots where she is still wearing the dress. The pipes are also visible behind Johnny Depp (Jack) in three shots, including when Barbossa says, "That be the same little island we made you governor of..." In all other shots of the gangplank there are NO guardrails surrounding the actual gangplank while it's extended over the water. (This is only visible on VHS, but can also be seen on DVD 2 and DVD 3 - 'The Lost Disc'.)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: After Aragorn's coronation, he and Arwen approach Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry. When they all bow to the Hobbits, in the close-ups the people surrounding the Hobbits are very close. However, in the overhead wide shot there is a large gap between the Hobbits and the crowd.
