Revealing mistake: When Sato arrives at the estate he exits the car then walks with his two guards towards Higgins, and in the wide shot as Higgins and Sato face each other for the first time, note all the small branches strategically placed on the grass to mark the four actors' proper positions for blocking the shot. Visible crew/equipment: When Rick and AJ return to Harold's hotel suite they join Harold on the balcony, and when Harold keels over onto the floor, the reflections of crew and location set lighting are visible on the glass door. (00:36:45)
Visible crew/equipment: When Magnum returns to the estate he gets out of the Ferrari and runs, then promptly falls when he leaps over the wall, and while Magnum's on the ground the black T-mark is visible on the grass. (00:41:20)
Deliberate mistake: When the Simon brothers are parked across the street from the entrance to Robin's Nest, with Harold Sands in the back seat, Rick uses binoculars to have a closer look at the estate. In the POV shot from within the binoculars, the estate's entrance gate with a sign on the bricks is backwards, revealing it as a flipped shot. (00:12:40)

Deliberate mistake: When Greene, Magnum and Rick are flying in the chopper going after TC, their first few closeups are all flipped, note their seated positions, backwards shirt buttons, cap lettering, etc. In later closeups their seating positions are in the proper place. (00:35:05)

Deliberate mistake: When TC is flying the stolen Loach toward the Japanese delegation, there are multiple exterior flipped shots showing the stolen helicopter backwards. There are also flipped closeups of TC while flying, note position of his helmet mic, etc. (00:34:35)

Continuity mistake: When Greene shows Magnum the photograph of Nuzo, in this closeup Nuzo is wearing a black shirt and a black band around his forehead, but when Greene places the photo on the desk it's completely different, with the subject wearing white and no headband.

Visible crew/equipment: When Colonel Greene is told that Mac is in Trauma, he walks into the room alone and in a moment Magnum joins him. There's a ceiling mounted domed light above Mac, and it shows the upside-down reflection of a crew member wearing a short sleeved red shirt. (00:37:15)
Visible crew/equipment: In the study, when Magnum tells Higgins that he opened the front gate for Rick and TC, Higgins then reminds Magnum about the poet who'll be staying at the guesthouse. Then Magnum walks over to the desk and we can see the actor's white tape mark marking the spot where he sits (it's gone when he stands up later). (00:37:35)
Visible crew/equipment: After Magnum walks out of the guesthouse brushing his hair, in the next shot Detective Kaio is standing alone on the grass by the garden wall, with nothing particularly noticeable on the ground. In the next shot, as everyone else joins Kaio, now notice all the small branches/stones which are strategically placed on the grass to mark all the actors' positions, especially the two branches placed as a "T" where Magnum stands. Visible crew/equipment: After Bronco tells Rick the blaggards won't try to kill him unless he keeps his distance, Rick follows Bronco out of the trailer, and when blonde Barbara distracts Rick, the plastic T-mark is visible on the ground at her feet. Then when Magnum spots Bronco being pushed into the pickup he sticks his gun into his waistband, and as Magnum runs over to the horse a crew member (presumably animal wrangler) can be seen crouching behind the tractor. The Elmo Ziller Story - S2-E20
Visible crew/equipment: When Magnum asks Higgins why he's angry, Higgins gets up from his desk and shouts about Magnum's, "Abysmal failure to perform rudimentary detective procedures, like finding one loud course woman." In the next shot the white tape mark is visible on the floor behind Lexi (where was previously standing, and then it's gone a few shots later). (00:38:20)
Visible crew/equipment: After Taylor gives Magnum the bottle of champagne Magnum heads to the couch, and when he sits down the white T-mark is visible on the floor, in front of Taylor. (00:15:10)
Visible crew/equipment: When Olivia thanks Magnum for his help Higgins walks over and tells her the hospital called, then right after Higgins says, "He appears to be improving," the tip of the moving boom mic dips into view over Higgins, at the top of the screen. (00:42:25)
Revealing mistake: When TC, Rick, and Higgins rescue Magnum and JL in the chopper, TC is wearing a short sleeve light blue tee shirt, but once they take off with Magnum hanging onto the side of the chopper, in Magnum's closeup TC is wearing a yellow tee shirt. Also note, the pilot in this shot is wearing dark brown spandex-type long sleeves under his short sleeved yellow tee shirt, to give the appearance of being the same skin color as TC. (00:39:20)
Visible crew/equipment: Near the end, while Magnum is standing by the hospital window JL is giving him a rundown of her personal history, and the shadow of the moving boom mic is visible on the curtain at the top, right side of the screen. (00:44:45)
Visible crew/equipment: While Higgins, TC, and Rick are getting tanked, Higgins tells the others he doesn't think Magnum is dead, then when Higgins gets up he walks over to the lamp and the actor's white tape mark is visible on the rug. (00:27:40)
Continuity mistake: When Magnum and JL escape from Thompson's yacht, Magnum's black dress shoes become flat rubber bottomed shoes when the duo climb the rocky hills. Later, when he hears the chopper he puts on the dress shoes, then it reverts back to the other shoes again. (00:24:15 - 00:33:35)
Visible crew/equipment: After Thompson asks JL and Magnum to accompany him to his cabin to get the money from his safe, just as Thompson opens his cabin door, the white T-mark is visible on the floor beside the desk, which is where Magnum stands. (00:15:45)
