Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny are in the backyard with the couple and the mother-in-law, after Johnny gets off the phone with Brackett, he has the black notebook in his left hand, but in the side shot it's in his right hand, then it returns to Johnny's left hand.
Visible crew/equipment: When Johnny is kneeling on the sidewalk beside the woman who fainted, the outline of the mic transmitter can be seen at his left side, above his belt.
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are with Johnny's friend, the stunt coordinator, trying out the new gear, the outlines of their mic transmitters are visible on the left sides of Johnny's and Roy's shirts, above the belts.
Revealing mistake: When Johnny, Roy, Vince, and the wounded officer are hiding between the bakery truck and car, before the multiple bullet holes actually appear on the side of the truck, those areas where the holes will show up have off-color markings, prepared for the stunt.

Visible crew/equipment: A man walks into the ER with a white phosphorus burn on his arm, and when they wheel him into the treatment room, an actor's T-mark is visible on the floor below the gurney.
Visible crew/equipment: When the guys are on the tower ride during the rescue, the shadow of the chopper (and its rotating rotor blades) doing the aerial filming becomes visible, when the ride reaches the bottom. Then the shadow of the entire chopper moves in directly in front of the ambulance, as they load the ambulance.
Visible crew/equipment: At the station, when Johnny and Roy talk about The Stewardess and then while Chet is mopping the floor, the bulging outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the front, left side of Roy's shirt, above his belt.

Visible crew/equipment: After the rescues at the ferris wheel, when Dixie walks in while Brackett is examining the patient, the actor's black tape mark is visible on the floor, just as Morton and the nurse switch places.
Visible crew/equipment: After Roy is electrocuted and falls from the second floor window, when Karen runs over to him and starts CPR, the bulging outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the back of Karen's white uniform.
Visible crew/equipment: After Karen, the new trainee, goes to the waiting room to speak to the elderly patient's wife, when Dixie walks over to Roy and Johnny to ask how she's doing, the outlines of the mic transmitter and wire are visible on the back of Dixie's white uniform.
Visible crew/equipment: In the ambulance, when Roy administers the bicarb and then the isoproterenol IV, the outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the left side of the third paramedic's shirt, as he's doing chest compressions.
Continuity mistake: During Johnny and Roy's flight to LAX there are a few shots of the airplane in mid-air and when it lands, and the type of airplane changes - note the engines and tail.
Visible crew/equipment: At the start, when Johnny is telling The Stewardess about the underwater rescue and in following shots, the outline of the lavalier mic wire and the dark strap (that holds the transmitter) around Johnny's waist are visible on the back of his shirt, and the mic transmitter is visible on the front, left side of his shirt, above his belt.
Visible crew/equipment: After the airplane rescue, at Rampart when Brackett congratulates Roy and Johnny on a job well done, the outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the front, left side of Roy's shirt, just above his belt.
Continuity mistake: While on the way to the parade in The Old Engine, when Johnny and Roy deal with the fire rescue and reach the roof, Johnny has a rope bundle swung across from his left shoulder to his right hip. However, in the next shot as they run across the roof, the bundle is now swung from his right shoulder to left hip, and the rope is also bundled differently.
Visible crew/equipment: When the doctor shows up at the house of the man who kicked in his TV, as the camera moves back, the top of equipment (presumably the boom mic) is visible and moving in the reflection of the mirror on the wall.
Visible crew/equipment: When Johnny and Roy are working on the man who is unconscious due to electric shock, the bulging outlines of the lavalier mic transmitter and wire are visible on the back left side of Johnny's shirt.
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are at the laundromat with the drunk man, the bulging outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the left side of Johnny's shirt, over his belt.
Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny get back to the station, Johnny asks Chet about the condition of the house after the fire, and in the wide shot Johnny has a really red pimple near his chin, but in his closeup the pimple has vanished, only to reappear in the next shot.
Answer: It is standard practice to wet down driveways so that they stand out in a long shot.
