Love's Labor Lost - S1-E20

Continuity mistake: As Mark futilely pounds on Jodi O'Brien's chest, Carol can be seen in the background, removing her protective glasses with one hand. However, after the Time of Death has been called and they're showing the reactions of everyone present in the room (Susan, Carol, Carter, Lydia, Chen), Carol is seen taking the glasses off again, this time with both hands.

Love's Labor Lost - S1-E20

Continuity mistake: Peter goes into the operating room, demanding to help with his mother's surgery. When he goes in, his cap is pulled down over his hair, but when he is talking to the surgeon in charge, about an inch of his hair shows for a couple of shots. The surgeon orders him out, and he leaves, and his hair is completely covered again. At no time did he adjust the cap.

Other mistake: When Jodi O'Brien is having seizures during the birth, Dr. Greene decides to take the baby out prematurely. Complications result and the woman dies, they show a shot of a clock in the background and it says 7:00, but when they say the Time of Death they say 6:02.

House of Cards - S1-E22

Continuity mistake: When Malik finds Carter's family noted amongst the richest in Chicago, he says that Carter's father is named 'Roland'. However, in later episodes, Carter's father's name is given as John Truman Carter, Jr.

Continuity mistake: During the opening credits, when they are working on an unconscious patient, his belt is undone and his fly is down. A couple of shots later, the fly is up and the belt buckled, even no one touched them in between.

Continuity mistake: Susan comes home carrying bags of groceries. When she first sees Chloe sitting at the door, a box of Kix cereal is on the side of the bag next to her body, but as she says "Chloe", the box is on the other side of the bag, away from her.

Men Plan, God Laughs - S1-E23

Other mistake: When the patient Isadore is brought in, early in the show, he is transferred from the stretcher onto a table, and we can see him deliberately move his right hand out of the way of the other actors moving him. He is supposed to be unconscious and very seriously injured so would not have done this is real life.

Continuity mistake: Susan and nurse Connie are talking to the fraudulent doctor - Susan has her clipboard at waist level and is lifting one page up with her right hand. The next shot shows her holding the clipboard down at hip level and both hands are on it. There was not enough time for the change.

Continuity mistake: Carter, referring to the patient Isadore, announces that he can't find a pulse in his leg - as he says this, his stethoscope is around his neck. Doug orders him to find a surgeon and suddenly the stethoscope is in Carter's ears, but there was no time for the switch.

Continuity mistake: Doug introduces his girlfriend's son Jake to old girlfriend Linda who is holding her coat over her arm with her hands clasped together. As she says hello to Jake she puts her hand up to her hair, but from his angle we still see her hands together. This continues for the next couple of shots as they chat.

Motherhood - S1-E25

Continuity mistake: Near the start of the show, Susan rushes into the ER with Chloe who is in labour. Carter is sitting behind the desk and he tips back, falls over, and takes his coffee down with him. Then he is suddenly standing there with a wheelchair for Chloe and he also hands Susan a mug of coffee from the counter, which somehow just appeared there. All this took place in 6 seconds, which couldn't have happened in real time.

Motherhood - S1-E25

Revealing mistake: When Susan and Chloe's mom comes to the hospital to visit, Chloe gives the baby to Susan to hold. If you look closely you can tell the baby isn't real but is actually a doll.

Everything Old Is New Again - S1-E26

Continuity mistake: When people start to dance at the reception, there is a shot of Susan, Doug and Mark. Then the sax player approaches Susan and asks her to dance so she leaves and hits the dance floor with him. They show them dancing, then a few seconds later go back to the people standing by the table and Susan is next to Doug again. (00:42:00)

Do One, Teach One, Kill One - S2-E3

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the show, Susan is talking to Kerry while holding baby Susie and a stuffed Sylvester the cat; the toy is in a different position in each shot and in the last shot it has disappeared altogether. As Susan walks away, the toy is in the diaper bag, although we never saw her put it there.

Do One, Teach One, Kill One - S2-E3

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the show, Susan is holding baby Susie and talking to Chloe through the chain-link fence. In one shot we see the back of Susan and Susie's head, but as the shot switches to Susan's face, we see the back of the baby's head again, without her ever turning her head.

Continuity mistake: As Chloe moves backward away from the fence while talking to Susan, we can see her friend Ruth in the convertible, sitting up on the back of the seat. In one shot Ruth completely disappears but reappears again, all in the course of a few seconds.

And Baby Makes Two - S2-E5

Continuity mistake: In this episode Susan is thinking about giving little Susie up for adoption, throughout the episode the baby playing little Susie switches from a brown eyed baby to a blue eyed baby.

Days Like This - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: The head of pediatrics is talking about Doug to Mark and Dr. Morgenstern and is holding his glasses in one hand. From one shot to another they flip right over in his hand, with no time for him to change them.

Continuity mistake: Carol's notary asks her for some water and she takes the cup in one hand and the jug in the other and pours. The next shot shows one hand still pouring and the other up on her papers. She had no time to put the cup down and move her hand.
