ER

Love's Labor Lost - S1-E20

Other mistake: When Jodi O'Brien is having seizures during the birth, Dr. Greene decides to take the baby out prematurely. Complications result and the woman dies, they show a shot of a clock in the background and it says 7:00, but when they say the Time of Death they say 6:02.

Men Plan, God Laughs - S1-E23

Other mistake: When the patient Isadore is brought in, early in the show, he is transferred from the stretcher onto a table, and we can see him deliberately move his right hand out of the way of the other actors moving him. He is supposed to be unconscious and very seriously injured so would not have done this is real life.

When the Bough Breaks - S4-E4

Other mistake: When Doug and the nurses are watching the TV about a motorcycle accident, Kerry comes along and calls him 'Mark'. This could be a character error, but as Doug responds 'yeah', and they talk, it indeed becomes a production error. In real life, the person would have corrected her. (00:07:15)

Day for Knight - S5-E1

Other mistake: After resusitation attempts fail, Lucy is left alone with a dead patient whose phone starts ringing. At that point we can see the "dead" patient's chest rising up and down as he breathes (and he's not on a respirator).

It's All in Your Head - S8-E15

Other mistake: In the opening sequence, there is an aerial shot where the camera pans over Central Park in New York City. The trees are full of leaves and some are changing color. The problem is that it is February when this episode is taking place, and the trees would have no leaves left on them.

Midnight - S10-E21

Other mistake: At Abby and Neela's graduation, there are at least a hundred students graduating. How did they get from Lockhart to Rasgota in three names?

Blame it on the Rain - S12-E4

Other mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Abby is almost run over by a man driving an SUV. They exchange words and then Abby throws a supposedly full cup of coffee at him. The cup of coffee bounces off the seat of the man's car and it is obvious that the cup is empty.

Life After Death - S15-E1

Other mistake: When Neela puts back on her scrubs after sleeping with Simon, she has no scar on the front of her body. Yet she was opened up in the OR after she was trampled at the rally.

Love's Labor Lost - S1-E20

Continuity mistake: As Mark futilely pounds on Jodi O'Brien's chest, Carol can be seen in the background, removing her protective glasses with one hand. However, after the Time of Death has been called and they're showing the reactions of everyone present in the room (Susan, Carol, Carter, Lydia, Chen), Carol is seen taking the glasses off again, this time with both hands.

Robert Romano: They're going to be looking for a sacrificial lamb, and I have to tell you, right now you're looking pretty wooly.

Answer: A man named Paul Sobriki comes into the ER in the season 6 episode 13 " All in the Family." He is complaining of headaches, Carter and Lucy decide to rule out meningitis and do a lumber puncture. Paul struggles during the procedure and believes that both doctors are stabbing him. Lucy, who is interested in Psych thinks something is wrong with their patient mentally, but Carter is dismissive of her. She gets cross with his attitude and she calls the psych department anyway to have a look at him. Later on and near the closing 20 minutes or so of the episode, all the staff start playing loud music and get a cake which appears to be blue lol, together to party as it's Valentines Day, Carter returns from somewhere and asks where Lucy is. He goes to check one of the rooms for her and Paul Sobriki comes up behind him in the dark and stabs him twice in the lower back, he collapses and as he falls unconscious he sees Lucy on the ground also. In the next episode, Be Still My Heart (ep 14), Dr Weaver discovers them and all of the staff work to try and save them, whilst Carter survives. Lucy's wounds are fatal and suffers a pulmonary embolism as Corday and Romano try to save her. Carter is grief stricken and feels guilty about the way he treated her, he becomes addicted to painkillers and Benton, Greene all help him and book him into rehab.

Answer: Lucy and Carter were stabbed by a patient she had suspected of having mental problems. Lucy died and Carter survived only to become addicted to painkillers.
