There's Something About Paulie - S2-E16

Continuity mistake: During scenes with Paulie, in a few shots the two rings Paulie is wearing on his left hand disappear/reappear, and the mole on Paulie's face also vanishes in a couple of shots. Some examples: (1) After Paulie's remark about a coke mule, Lois says, "Peter, living room," then Paulie's mole and rings disappear. (2) While Paulie and Peter are sitting on the swing, Paulie's two rings vanish when the swing collapses. (3) Following the hail of bullets, when Paulie turns and falls onto the puddle, the rings are gone. (00:12:00)

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Continuity mistake: After Peter falls into a vat of lard, he is in the hospital bandaged up with a tray table over his bed. Continuity mistake: Peter brings Chris to the front door of the beautiful people club, and Warren steps out to greet them. There is a shadow cast on the sidewalk by the awning, and in the first shot, Peter and Chris are both standing in the shadow. In the next shot, suddenly Chris is no longer in shadow, Peter is at the very edge of the shadow, and Warren is much further away from the front door. (00:18:55)

Continuity mistake: After Peter becomes muscular, he goes to the store. In the first shot inside the store, we get a clear look at the register and checkout line, with the area surrounding the checkout. After Warren Fredericks approaches him to cut forward in line, another shot of the checkout now suddenly shows a snack shelf display next to the checkout line that was not there previously. He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Continuity mistake: Once Peter comes home with hunky muscles, Lois starts pushing the kids out of the front door. Stewie is in a wagon beside the threshold of the door, and he turns his head to look at Lois next to him as she pushes Chris and Meg outside. In the next shot, suddenly Stewie is now directly in front of the door, with Lois in front of him, and his head has turned again. (00:15:50)

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Continuity mistake: In the Griffin home establishing shot just before Peter enters the house with new muscles, it shows the walkway to the front door and mailbox is clear of any obstacles. Yet a minute later, Lois pushes Stewie out the front door on a wagon, and he rolls down the walkway, crashing into some trashcans that have suddenly appeared behind the mailbox. He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Continuity mistake: After Peter gets liposuction, he walks into the kitchen all skinny and stands next to the fridge. There is a to-do list note on the freezer door of the fridge. The episode cuts to black (for commercial break), then comes back to Peter standing by the fridge and now the to-do list has vanished. (00:12:10)

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Factual error: Peter starts helping Chris work out, and in the second part, Chris is trying to do pull-ups on a bar outside. In the first shot, there is an unlit campfire under his feet, and he even appears to be standing on it. In the next shot, Peter walks around him and Chris starts lifting. Peter says, "Feel the burn," and sprays fuel on the campfire spot. Suddenly, the fire is lit, without Peter having actually lit it. Just spraying lighter fluid on wood doesn't start a fire. Continuity mistake: Lois hands Chris a plate of steamed vegetables at the dinner table, and he's holding a fork and knife. Just before she says, "Oh honey, it's good for you," Chris sets the fork down and has the knife lifted in the air. Then, in the next shot, suddenly the knife is on the table and he's using the fork on the food. Also, Lois goes from having her hand on his shoulder to her arms at her sides. (00:08:45)

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Continuity mistake: At the pool when Chris doesn't want to take his shirt off, Peter climbs out of the pool to ask if he's hiding bruises. Behind Peter is a blonde woman in a purple one-piece swimsuit standing next to a man in a green speedo. Then, after Lois walks up and is talking to him, the close-up of her shows a bunch of people behind her, including the same blonde woman in a purple one-piece now standing next to a different man in blue swim trunks. Barely Legal - S5-E8

Connie: You know, Meg, there's no dogs allowed. So, you're going to have to leave. But Brian can stay.
Brian Griffin: You know, Connie, I think I have this theory about why you're such a bitch.
Connie: Excuse me?
Meg Griffin: Brian, let's just go.
Brian Griffin: No, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute, Meg, hang on. You see, Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve. But now you can't stand to look in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body's used up by age nineteen, you're gonna be a worn out chalky skinned burlap sack that even your own stepdad won't want. How is that? Am I in the ballpark?
[Connie runs off crying].

Grumpy Old Man - S10-E9

Trivia: One of the cutaway gags is about someone who survived 9/11 because he was late for work watching late night football. Seth MacFarlane missed his flight, which would have been one of the flights to crash into the World Trade Center, because his agent had given him the incorrect departure time. The plane was scheduled to depart at 7:45 AM and his agent had told him it was departing at 8:15 AM. By the time Seth arrived the boarding had been closed and he was told he would have to catch a later flight.

Business Guy - S8-E9

Question: In the episode, Peter threatens to fire Lois, and she responds with "you wouldn't" and Peter then replies with "Oh really, does the name Lacey Chabert mean anything to you?" which in turn makes Lois go wide eyed and reply with "OK, I'll behave" and Peter then goes on to add "Yes you will" Can anyone explain this joke if it is a joke to comprehend?

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
