(2) While Paulie and Peter are sitting on the swing, Paulie's two rings vanish when the swing collapses. Peter says, "Feel the burn," and sprays fuel on the campfire spot. Suddenly, the fire is lit, without Peter having actually lit it. Just spraying lighter fluid on wood doesn't start a fire. Then, after Lois walks up and is talking to him, the close-up of her shows a bunch of people behind her, including the same blonde woman in a purple one-piece now standing next to a different man in blue swim trunks. Other mistake: After Stewie gets his toy back from the cupboard, Lois and Peter walk into the kitchen. Lois asks Peter, "Since when are you so concerned about our food budget?", and in the next shot of Peter, the buttons on his shirt are missing; then they reappear in his next close-up. (00:10:01)
Other mistake: After the scene of the family watching Philadelphia at the movie theatre, Peter promises Lois that not a drop of alcohol is going to touch his lips. In this shot, Peter's buttons are on the left side of his shirt instead of the right like they should be. (00:03:39)
Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
