The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson - S9-E1
Corrected entry: Homers watch keeps disappearing and reappearing between shots throughout the whole episode.
Corrected entry: This is for the Season 17 episode 'Marge's Son Poisoning'. Principal Skinner says that he and his mother have been doing karaoke together since he was in the 4th grade, but in the Season 9 episode 'The Principal and the Pauper', it was revealed that the 'Seymour Skinner' we know is an impostor, a man who assumed his army sergeant's identity after he was killed in combat.
Correction: Skinner (or Armin Tamzarian, if you want to be totally truthful) has been telling lots of stories about his childhood with Mrs. Skinner. It doesn't mean that the stories are true, but he tells them to gain credibility for his role as Seymour Skinner.
True. Even in the episode "The Principal and the Pauper", the judge told everyone to forget anything happened.
The President Wore Pearls - S15-E3
Corrected entry: Krusty is shown to be a former school president at Springfield Elementary. But "Like Father, Like Clown" shows that he grew up in a Jewish community and attended a Hebrew school.
Correction: It is possible that children change schools at some point, even religious schools.
Radio Bart - S3-E13
Corrected entry: When Bart talks through the microphone after pulling it out of Santa's Little Helper's mouth, he talks in the exact same voice as Todd Flanders. (00:14:45)
Correction: Bart is impersonating a young boy (not necessarily Todd Flanders). He doesn't use his normal voice during the whole prank.
Tree House of Horror II: A Simpsons Halloween - S3-E7
Corrected entry: When the aliens land in Springfield, the number and positions of the crowd in front of the Jebediah statue change between shots. (00:06:20)
Correction: There are various different shots from different angles, it's impossible to tell if the crowd is really changing.
Tree House of Horror II: A Simpsons Halloween - S3-E7
Corrected entry: When Homer, Bart, Lisa and Maggie are eating candy, they eat and eat without taking the wrappers off. (00:01:50)
Correction: We never see any of them eat candy with the wrapper on.
Tree House of Horror II: A Simpsons Halloween - S3-E7
Corrected entry: At the beginning, when Jimbo and Kearney take Homer's candy, the door knocker is gone in the first shot. There is also a peephole on the inside of the door, and is never visible from the outside. (00:01:05)
Corrected entry: Homer manages to call Marge from a pay phone even though both of his arms are trapped in two vending machines.
Corrected entry: When the police trap Snake after the car chase they say he's trapped in meaning there was only one way in. So how does Snake get his car stuck in the alleyway when he must have got through the alleyway to begin with?
Correction: There was only one way in and out for a car as Snake finds out. The alley they both came in is obviously different from the one Snake tries to escape through. This is further confirmed by the fact that the police car is not parked at the end of the alley Snake tries to exit through.
Also, Springfield PD isn't exactly known to be top-notch. This could've been a mistake by the cops as well. Even so, character mistake.
Corrected entry: We know that Apu's store is spelled "Kwik-E-Mart," but in this episode, when Bart had the 3-D layout of The Town, it says "Quick-E-Mart."
Correction: Bart might have believed it was spelt Quick instead of Kwik. It sounds the same and most kids when they learn to spell are taught to spell as it sounds, so that might have lead to Bart not thinking it was a mistake. It was only a small display for plan of attack.
As a regular customer at the Kwik-E-Mart, I'm pretty sure that he would know how it was spelt.
Tree House of Horror II: A Simpsons Halloween - S3-E7
Corrected entry: When Homer wishes for his turkey sandwich, we can see tomatoes in it. Homer never said anything about tomatoes. (00:06:55)
Correction: He ordered turkey and he got turkey salad. There aren't that many people who would complain. Who makes plain sandwiches nowadays?
There's No Disgrace Like Home - S1-E4
Corrected entry: When Homer hits Barney in Moe's he says "here's five you haven't met" meaning his fingers. Only problem is all The Simpsons characters have four fingers.
Correction: They probably did this for a joke.
Also, later on in the series, Lenny and Carl ask why it's called a high five when they only have 4 fingers.
Lisa's Pony - S3-E8
Corrected entry: When Homer falls asleep in the car, he hits the dashboard with his fist, and the airbag pops out. If you watch in slow motion though, he doesn't hit anything at all. (00:19:30)
Correction: That mistake is already listed.
