Continuity mistake: When Jane speaks to the owners of the restaurant, the female owner is writing something and also has a drink. She takes the drink with the pen in the same hand. When the shots changes, the pen is no longer in her hand. The shot goes back to the original position and the pen appears again.(00:09:35)
Question: How long had it been since the time Kate stabbed Simon in the eye and the time he captured Sasha? You can tell by his appearance that it's been a nice length of time, but it's never specified. I don't know much about survival, but it's evident that he had been cannibalizing even before that point, so he had probably been eating people in that whole time so it could have been a very long time. I'm inclined to believe that it's been at least a month, given the dramatic change in his appearance. Can anybody give a clearer response? As mine is just a blind guess.(01:19:00 - 01:19:40)
Chosen answer:I'm inclined to think it was longer than a month because of the lack of proper needed care for such an injury would prolong the healing process. But he only had a handful of souvenirs on him, which means he probably stopped collecting after a while. I concur with your cannibalism theory, there's no other way he would have survived. However that doesn't explain what he could have done for water. This theory of Simon spending possibly months in the cube also brings up the question: If the cube breaks down at 6:06:59, then how is it possible to live in there for months? Well, as we saw, certain rooms have slower and faster rates of time. So, he could have spent all that time in a room with a slow time rate waiting for people to wander into it and feed off of them.
Visible crew/equipment: Just after Maggie and Michael leave the courtroom, she calls Justice. As the dog walks into the door, you can see the shadow of the dog's trainer call her to that spot just underneath the doorway.(00:20:20)
Other mistake: Soon after Jay pushes the little red button on the Ford POS, Kay inserts an eight track cassette. If you look at the eight track player, you can read "Select". The car is upside down at this point, but the word "Select" on the player, as well as the title of the cassette, "Elvis 'Promised Land'" are both right-side up. This means that, if the car were right-side up, the text would be upside down, and, in turn, the entire cassette player would be upside down. It is clear that this mistake was made by not paying attention to the orientation of the car as the scene was shot. It is also clear that the shot is done with the camera right-side up since Kay is in the driver's seat, which, right-side up, would be on the left, but since the car is upside down, he's on the right, which is seen when he inserts the tape.(01:14:20)
Other mistake: In the Xbox Live Arcade version (not sure about the original), when you approach the totem for Hailfire Peaks, in the bottom left, designating how many Jiggies you need to open the level, it says 14. But you really need 36, which Jiggywiggy tells you if you inspect it.
Continuity mistake: When Shavoo and Buddy arrive at the storage area, but before they open the cell, they clasp hands. The shot changes, and their hands are now down and no longer clasped.
I can't remember much about this movie, since I only saw the last ten minutes, but it looked interesting. All that I can recall was that it seemed to be children's movie, and the villain was called the Ice Queen. After her inevitable defeat, the heroine says something along the lines of "but Winter passes. It passes." I think the heroine had a brother as well. It was most likely an '80s or '90s film but could also be '00s.
Continuity mistake: When Joey gives the disk to Phreak, he puts his hands down while Phreak still has his hand up. The shot cuts to the surveillance agents and Phreak's hands are both down.(00:59:00)
Continuity mistake: When Oliver tries to clean up his dirty magazines, he takes one from the couch and another one falls off onto the floor, at which point there are no magazines on the couch. After he sets one pile down and goes into his "complete pervert" rant, he picks up a magazine from the couch which wasn't there before.(00:16:00)
Continuity mistake: When Amy says that she lost her earring, she's wearing shades. The shot cuts to Stacy and then back to Amy, who is now wearing spectacles without having had enough time to change her glasses off screen.(00:03:40)
Continuity mistake: When we first see the guys at the pub, Jeff takes a swig of beer and you can see that his glass is almost empty. After a few seconds of conversation, he takes another sip and the amount of drink has significantly increased.(00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: When Shawn meets Harvey in the restaurant, he brings in the box of umbrellas which is soaking wet from the rain. When he leaves, the rain has stopped and the box changes from being soaking wet to completely dry to wet again for the rest of the scene.
Revealing mistake: When David enters the food robot to escape, he makes a left at a cop car with the license plate 11385. A few moments later, he passes the same exact car going in the other direction.(00:41:40)
Question: In the Trivia section for this movie, there is an entry that says that all of the characters are named after prisons around the world, and it gives some examples. Can someone identify all of the prisons and how they relate to the character?
Chosen answer:Quentin is named after San Quentin State Prison in California, notorious for a high-level of brutality. Holloway is a women's prison in London, leading to a female character. Alderson Prison is in West Virginia and uses isolation as a major punishment, thus Alderson never meets the other characters. Rennes Prison in France pioneered many modern prison policies, so the character Rennes appears as a knowledgeable mentor to the other characters. The Kazan prison in Russia is disorganised, tying in to the autistic Kazan character. Finally, Leaven and Worth are both named for Leavenworth prison in Kansas, which is corporately built and run, relating to Worth, the corporate architect, and runs on a very rigid set of rules, which ties in to Leaven's mathematical ability.
Other mistake: Just after Dick is fired, Robocop shoots him. Robocop shoots Dick twice and we see two exit wounds on Dick's back. Robocop fires a third time, and two more exit wounds appear simultaneously lower down.(01:35:50)
Other mistake: Just before Debbie takes her shirt off after Walter has given all of the Playpen girls suggestions, one of the girls says "It's hot in here." (probably Debbie, but it doesn't really sound like her), but Mona doesn't start having an orgasm, when "in" is supposed to start it.(00:33:50)
Continuity mistake: When Walter walks in on Brittany in the bathroom, the bubbles on her body change from shot to shot. In one shot, there are many bubbles around her bust, in the next, they're all gone, and reappear in other shots.(00:24:00 - 00:24:55)
