Corrected entry: In this episode Clark keeps having dreams of this girl who moved in Lana's old house, and is in a coma. In one of the dream sequences Clark says he doesn't have powers in the dreams. Yet in a previous dream he's with Lex at his mansion, and Lex takes a Japanese Katana and attacks Clark with it, but Clark blocks the sword with his arm and the sword blade shatters. If he doesn't have any powers in the dreams then shouldn't he have been hurt?

Smallville (2001)
Corrected entry: When Lana is in jail, Clark tells her "Sheriff Adams knows you didn't steal the car and Lex has a lawyer working on the other charges." The police got involved after Lex called them because she stole the till from the Talon. Since Lex is the owner of the Talon, wouldn't it be a lot simpler for Lex to just drop the charges rather than have a lawyer "work on" them? (00:28:30)
Correction: The only people who can typically issue or drop charges for criminal offenses are district attorneys. Even if a person who is wronged lawfully doesn't want to press charges, it's ultimately up to the DA whether or not charges are actually filed.

The Big Bang Theory (2007)
Corrected entry: While the group are trying to figure out how to play Halo without Howard, Leonard jokingly suggests cutting Raj in half. Raj responds, "Oh sure, cut the foreigner in half. There's a billion more where he came from." But Penny is in the room with them, so there's no way he should be able to talk in front of her, or even if he's been drinking, the fact alcohol helps him isn't realised until the next episode, so the fact he can speak with her there should have surprised everyone, including him.

God of War 2
Corrected entry: In the first God of War, Athena tells Kratos that Cronos is the last living Titan. In this game, the other Titans are still alive.
Correction: They were always alive; it is revealed that none of them were ever killed. Rather, Kratos travels back in time and brings them to the future, at a point in time just before they were thought to have been killed. Since their bodies disappeared, everyone assumed that they had died, but they had really traveled into the future with Kratos.
This entry is referring to the beginning of the game after Kratos was sent to the Underworld where he meets the Titans. Not to when he traveled back in time to bring the Titans to the future. Since Athena told Kratos that Cronos was the last living Titan, when Kratos got pulled into the Underworld, then he should never have been able to meet the other Titans.

CSI: Miami (2002)
Corrected entry: They find a sticky substance which turns out to be a soft drink made with cane sugar rather than corn syrup. Ryan pronounces that no sodas are made in the US with cane sugar and they would have to be ordered from Mexico. The Dr. Pepper plant in Dublin, Texas makes its product with Imperial Cane Sugar year round and many brands (Coca-cola for one) produce limited quantities around Passover as corn syrup being a grain product is not considered "kosher for Passover" (it might have been exposed to leavening). While the show's premise that the drinker must be an aficionado still holds, he certainly wouldn't have to order them from outside the country as is stated.
Correction: Ryan doesn't exactly say that. Kelly is under that impression when she says, "I thought all soft drinks were made of high fructose corn syrup," and Ryan simply doesn't tell her she's mistaken.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Correction: There is enough time between the events for him to have moved the piano there.

The Office (2005)
Corrected entry: Meredith claims she is sleeping with the supplier of Hammermill products for the branch to get discounts and has been for six years. But Michael only got his branch to be able to sell their products in episode 3-2 "The Convention", two years earlier, so this is impossible.
Correction: She doesn't mention having slept with him specifically for the discounts, she also mentions that she gets Outback Steakhouse gift certificates. The only logical conclusion is that she had been sleeping with the rep primarily for the coupons, and then added on the discounts to the supplies when he just happened to become their supplier.
Correction: It's also possible that the rep she was sleeping with was not with Hammermill for the entire six years they were sleeping together. He could have easily been with another product line during those six years.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Corrected entry: John Connor in the future should have sent back a terminator that didn't resemble the first one. Since he did, it tipped off the police and nearly made an enemy of Sarah Connor, when it should have been unrecognizable and earned her trust faster.
Correction: It's probably not very easy to capture a Terminator, especially with (apparently) absolutely zero damage to it. John got what he could and sent it back. Even if he did know that it was the same model that Skynet sent back to kill Sarah (which he may not have), it's still better than nothing, and there's no evidence to suggest that he could have gotten his hands on a different Terminator.
Correction: It should be noted, the T-800's all looked alike (at least the 101 models). Plus, adult John Connor remembers being saved by this particular model and therefore sends it back, regardless if there were other models with a different look.
You are mistaken. The future John Connor that send that terminator back does not remember the events of the movie. The future changes whenever something or someone is sent back without affecting that particular timeline. So the future John Connor that send that T-800 back is from the timeline after the first movie, not this one.
That statement I made regarding John remembering the T-800 comes directly from James Cameron himself, not something I made up or fan theory.
It might have been true when T-2 was the last movie, but later movies change that. I get it if people want to hang on to the original Cameron deal, but the continuity of the franchise disregards the old rules and comes up with new ones. The events of T-2 created the events of T-3 and thus it is a different John Connor.
Many consider T3 a soft reboot and not direct sequel meaning what's established in the film doesn't specifically alter what is established in Terminator 1 and 2.

Hook (1991)
Corrected entry: After the nursery room windows open themselves, the bedcovers fly up off Jack and Maggie. As the covers pass offscreen we hear both Jack and then Maggie scream, but in the shot of Maggie as we hear her screaming her mouth does not move in any kind of sync with the scream. (00:22:25)
Correction: Maggie's is more of a gasp, and her mouth reflects this.

Clockstoppers (2002)
Corrected entry: To freeze others in time, the person with the watch must touch the people he wants to bring into hypertime. In the scene in the vent, Zach, Francesca, and Doppler freeze time with the watch to get through the fan. Doppler backs out and says he's scared to go in and starts to walk away. Zack still had time frozen when he walks away so how does Doppler expect to have a normal life if he's stuck in hypertime with no one to get him out?
Correction: Doppler had one of the NO2 guns, which he could have used to go back to normal time by simply shooting himself.

The Holographic Excitation - S6-E5
Corrected entry: Penny observes that the pencil in the hologram is sharp but looking closely at the hologram shows that it's not.
Correction: She doesn't say that about the hologram; she says it about the actual pencil. Which it is, as Leonard puts the pointy end into the table that has equally spaced out holes in it, making it stand upright. The laser can't see below the hole in the table, which is why it doesn't appear to have a pointy end in the hologram.

The Office (2005)
Corrected entry: When Deangelo Vickers is found by Andy in the break room making a chocolate dessert on the coffee hot plate, Deangelo panics and slides the dessert off into the trash can with his left hand. Then when he exits the room he hits the wall above the door frame with his right hand, leaving chocolate smudges.
Correction: After having just watched this scene, his hands are off camera long enough for him to have brought them together (likely in anxiousness, since he almost reneged on his promise to himself to not eat junk food, and he was having a little trouble getting into the rhythm of the office).

Community (2009)
Corrected entry: Pierce tells the Biology teacher that the study group members are the only people he has told about having sex with Eartha Kitt in an airplane bathroom. However, in 3.04 'Remedial Chaos Theory', Pierce tells the group about Eartha Kitt for the first time. Also, in 3.03 Shirley calls Britta's lighter her "marijuana lighter", but she doesn't find out about Britta smoking weed until 3.04. These errors are due to 3.03 and 3.04 being aired out of order according to their production, and have been acknowledged and confirmed by creator Dan Harmon himself, but they still count as mistakes.
Correction: Those two revelations only happened in the alternate timelines, not in the main timeline. In the main timeline, Pierce was about to mention Eartha Kitt, but was stopped (all he said was, "Airplane bathroom..." and was cut off), and Britta's smoking was never seen. Additionally, in the alternate timelines, nobody says or implies that it's their first time hearing about Earth Kitt (in fact, in one of them (the Darkest Timeline), they imply that they HAVE heard the story before, because Pierce mentions Eartha Kitt but not sex or the airplane, and the group is still disgusted) And Shirley was ranting about Britta's drug use which can very well be attributed to learning that the whole group decided not to eat her baked goods. It can only be assumed that the revelations came some time before episode 3, off screen. The mention of them being shown out of order is irrelevant given these facts.

The Butterfly Effect (2004)
Corrected entry: After Evan goes back in time and accidentally causes the death of Kayleigh with the blockbuster, he ends up being placed in a mental institution for the remainder of his life. When he awakes in this timeline and asks for his journal, the doctor explains that he has asked for them before, but that they did not exist. However, the Evan that grew up in that mental institution shouldn't have any memory of traveling in time, and using those journals to do so. After a blackout, young Evan never remembers what happens during the blackout or why those journals are so important so the doctor should be hearing about these non-existent journals for the first time.
Correction: We aren't shown everything that happens in Evan's life when he changes the past. It's quite likely that he does remember what happens after he changes the outcome of a blackout, but obviously doesn't bring it up to anybody, or else they'd think he's crazy. Being in a mental hospital, they already know he's crazy, and the journals are the only way to fix it, so of course he would demand them whenever he could.

The Bat Jar Conjecture - S1-E13
Corrected entry: When the guys are practising for the Physics Bowl and they are sitting across from Penny, Leonard is sitting in Sheldon's seat, which Sheldon would never allow.
Correction: In most cases, this would be true. But given the way things were set up, he had to pick a new, temporary spot for the practice. It's likely that their living room setup is too complex to change just for a short amount of time, which is why the practice area was set up as it was. Sheldon chose a spot related to the practice area so he would be comfortable, just like he chose a new spot when the gang went to the north pole.

The Alliance - S1-E4

Correction: The show is supposed to be a documentary, so any visible filming equipment can be considered proper in-universe.

Iron Man 3 (2013)
Corrected entry: During her fight with Killian, Pepper tore off the arm of a random Iron Man armor and fired a repulsor blast at a mini missile, thereby killing him. How was Pepper able to control the arm? Without a helmet, she didn't have any neural interface with the armor and unlike Tony, she didn't have any implants that would have allowed her to communicate with the armor. In addition, where did the arm get the power to fire the repulsor blast? There was no connection between the arm and the ARC reactor in the chest of the armor.
Correction: The suits were pretty modular. Although nobody else could actually equip the suits, it makes sense that he would make it so that some features could still be used by Pepper, this example being a case in point. And about it being able to fire without the ARC reactor; it's very plausible that it would only need to be connected to draw power directly from it. There could be enough energy in the arm itself to fire off a blast.
I think the repulsors and other suit functions can be controlled by contextual body movements. Earlier in the movie we see Savin rotate his wrist and that opens up the iron patriot suits palm to expose his bare hand. We hear no audible commands being given there. Same could be applied here with repulsors maybe there's a hand movement like opening your palm fully that fires a repulsor blast.

Hocus Pocus (1993)
Corrected entry: When the sisters are about to be hanged, the lynch mob can see that Winifred is casting a spell to allow them to come back to life, yet the mob just politely allows her to finish the spell before finally hanging them. Bear in mind that this scene takes place at a time when people genuinely thought witchcraft was real, so the townspeople had no reason to let her recite a spell.
Correction: Two things about this. 1. They had just been singing, which could in itself have been a spell to disorientate the people enough to prevent them from trying to stop their next spell. 2. Mr. Binx had just told everyone not to listen to them, and most of them covered their ears. Also, it's likely that if anybody was in a position to stop them, they could very well have just been too afraid to try.

In Time (2011)
Corrected entry: When Will runs from the Timekeeper's death to his car, he has about 30 seconds on his clock. The car is 300-400 metres away, perhaps further. To make it in time, Will would have to run faster than today's sprinting world record pace, but he is only seen running at a normal speed. As a side note, Sylvia is running behind him in high heels, almost as fast, and her time runs down to a couple of seconds. Odd that she never thought to remove those shoes so she can run faster, given her life is at stake. (01:35:50)
Correction: The Timekeeper specifically comments on this, surprised at how fast Will can run, during the conversation. We don't know how long the world has been like this. Could have been ten years, could have been a hundred years. With Time as their Life, it's quite possible that people in this world are naturally faster than people in ours, because if they were slow, they'd die. The fact that Silvia didn't remove her shoes is simple: People don't think straight in extreme situations like that. In reality, both of them would have probably died.

Corrected entry: If Jane Saunders receives $10,000 from her father every month why would she need to work at a library to make her way through college?
Correction: It's never said that she must work there for money. It could very well be related to one of her classes, or maybe she just likes it enough that that's how she wants to spend her free time.

Correction: Clark says, "I have no power," meaning that he doesn't have the power to stop the Traveller, not as a reference to his abilities (which remain available to him in the dreams). He's saying that Sara is the one who must stop him. Even though Clark is eventually able to destroy the Traveller with his heat vision, he wouldn't have been able to do that until Sara stood up to him in the end.
