Corrected entry: The Wonka Chocolate Factory had been closed for years, but now it was operating even though no one was working there. As the gates opened and the five children and their parents walked into the yard, the snow had footprints everywhere in front of them. Who made the footprints if no one worked there?

Correction: Nobody ever says that no one works there. After all, the Oompa Loompas work there. People never see anyone go in or out of the factory, but the Oompa Loompas could move around outside, in the dark, when no one could see them.

Corrected entry: Small contradiction: Wonka flips when the boy drinks from his chocolate river and later even falls into it. Wonka is angry given the contamination of his chocolate, however a few minutes later he happily takes the whole lot on a boat on that same river, a boat on which people even become seasick. Enjoy your bar Mr. Wonka.

Correction: Wonka says that his chocolate "must never be touched by human hands." The hull of the boat is probably sterilized. As far as people getting seasick, as whimsical and absent-minded as Wonka can be, it probably never occurred to him that this might happen.

Troy (2004)

Corrected entry: Coins did not exist during the period of the Trojan War. They were first used in Lydia in the 8th century B.C. as an alternative to bartering precious metals or goods.

megamii

Correction: This movie is based, at least partly, on Greek mythology. In the Greek myths, coins were placed on the eyes of the dead so the person could pay Charon to ferry them across the river Styx.

Corrected entry: The policemen breaks the window of the taxi to help the French woman and her son, but when Laura returns to take the purse, the window is intact.

Dr Wilson

Correction: The policeman actually broke the windshield. Laura reaches in through the rear window.

Corrected entry: When the young Evan is getting the knife to stop the firework, in one shot he is trying to put the knife in his pocket. However, in the next, he has the knife down by his side and is not moving.

SexyIrishLeprechaun

Correction: This is because he heard his mother coming and froze. Then he blacked out the memory, and did not know why he was holding the knife.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene where we have the first fusion reactor, we notice that everything begins to be drawn into the reaction, including a paper clip from far away. When it shows Doc Ock's wife, she is very close to the reactor and you can see that she has metal earrings dangling from her ears. First, they are not even being drawn into the reactor when everything else is, including huge metal objects. Second, she has a metal wrist watch that is seemingly not affected by the magnetism.

Correction: Many metals are non-ferrous and are not affected by magnets, particularly gold and Sterling silver, which her earrings and watch could have been made from.

Superman (1978)

Corrected entry: In the "Can you read my mind" scene where Superman is flying with Lois Lane through the clouds, we see a pigeon flying close beside them. Do pigeons fly above the clouds?

Correction: According to Encyclopedia Britannica, most pigeon species have been spotted above 2,000 feet. These could have been low-lying clouds.

Corrected entry: Years of dispute with the Klingons, and Federation engineers haven't managed to circumvent the cloaking device - yet a 100% effective torpedo is built on the Enterprise by a doctor, during a battle, using instructions from a radio-operator, in under 10 minutes. Makes you wonder why Starfleet actually has engineers.

Correction: Spock was with McCoy when they were modifying the torpedo. It's true that the engineers should have discovered this earlier, but Uhura points out that Enterprise is currently carrying extra equipment for studying gaseous anomalies.

Normally a bird of prey is not a threat while cloaked so there would be no need to be able to locate one to fire on while cloaked. This is a different set of circumstances.
