Corrected entry: When the Winklevosses are rowing in their first scene, one of their team mates in the other boat has on an Under Armour shirt. UA wasn't established until 2006.

Toy Story 3 (2010)
Corrected entry: When Woody escapes Sunnyside and climbs onto the roof, we are shown a shot of the entire rooftop, and no kite is to be seen anywhere on the roof, yet moments later, it's conveniently there when Woody's hat blows off (and then provides his escape over the walls).
Correction: We are actually shown a shot of one side of the rooftop, not the entire thing. The kite could easily have been on the other side that we isn't shown.

Pitch Black (2000)
Corrected entry: As cool as it looks, it is impossible for a planet to have two sets of parallel rings, because rings only circle a planet's equator.
Correction: It's a sci-fi film. Anything is possible with sci-fi. I suppose getting an eyeshine and deadly creatures using sound to hunt their prey at night are impossible too? It's not supposed to be realistic. EDIT: I'm not going to engage in this conversation any further as it's starting to turn hostile. I stand by what I said 10 years ago. Good day, Gentleman.
Please don't say, "it's not supposed to be realistic." That's a cop-out. Fantasy is not supposed to be realistic. Science Fiction IS supposed to be realistic.
I agree, this is a valid mistake. The events of this movie take place in our universe, and the most fundamental laws of physics of our Universe dictate that there can not be two sets of rings around planet. It can not be explained away by saying that it is a fantasy or magic.
Science Fiction. Emphasis on "Fiction." Like I said 10 years ago, it's not possible in real life for someone to have "eyeshine" surgery like Riddick did to see in the dark, but it happened in the fictional world of this movie. A fictional planet having two sets of rings is no different.
It is very different. The inability to have eyeshine surgery in the present is a technical limitation. One hundred years ago it was impossible to fly faster than sound. We can do it now. A planet having two rings breaks a fundamental law of nature.
But this isn't nature, is it? It's a sci-fi movie that does not adhere to the laws of our world. It's not a documentary.
That is incorrect. Sci-fi adheres to the laws of nature. You're describing fantasy. Plus, planets in the galaxy and other galaxies, still adhere to laws of "our world", so it's a ridiculous statement to make.
Whether it is an error probably depends on which type of sci-fi is used. With "hard" sci-fi, the two rings are contrary to existing principles, thereby constituting an error. With "soft" sci-fi, two rings are allowed, so not an error. The movie is set in the distant future, so it is possible known principles could be revised. Sci-fi may overlap with fantasy - where do "bioraptors" fall? Soft sci-fi includes human aspects - Riddick refused then agreed to save others. The movie is SOFT SCI-FI.

Pitch Black (2000)
Corrected entry: While exploring the abandoned settlement, Fry goes inside one of the buildings and finds the room with the planet system model. It then cuts back to Imam and Johns walking up to the machine that draws water and you can see that Fry is with them. But then it cuts back to her looking at the models of the planets to show that she was in there the whole time. (00:23:25)
Correction: We never actually see Fry's face, so she isn't necessarily there with them.

Pitch Black (2000)
Corrected entry: After Riddick stabs and guts the raptor, his blade is shining clean, not covered in the blue blood of the aliens.
Correction: We don't get a good look at Riddick's blade head on. Only at a side angle. It's perfectly possible that there is blood on it but we simply cannot see it due to the angle.

Pitch Black (2000)
Corrected entry: When Riddick is talking Fry into leaving with him, Fry drops to her knees and Riddick helps her up. In the wide angle shot of Fry crawling up to the ship, you can see her left shoe fall off, but in the next few shots, her shoe is back on again. (01:37:45)
Correction: Her shoe never falls off. This entry is invalid.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999)
Corrected entry: In the chess scene where they start out playing chess and start licking the pieces etc., the square in the lower right corner is black. In chess, the lower right corner square is always white because the queen goes on color and if the bottom right is black, the king and queen are reversed out of position.
Correction: The chess board is obviously the wrong way round; a simple mistake to make.

Yogi Bear (2010)

Correction: Either spelling/pronunciation is acceptable.

Unstoppable (2010)
Corrected entry: When the guys in the white van are chasing the train, they come to a train signal on the side of the tracks that tears off the door. This signal is dinging the same way a railroad crossing would ding, though in real life, track-side signals don't ding.
Correction: They do in many parts of the world, including America.

Toy Story 3 (2010)
Corrected entry: When the "caterpillar room" children go outside for recess, the clock shows 3:00; when they return to the room for Andy's toys' first playtime, the clock shows 1:00.
Correction: The clock actually shows 12:15 when they go outside for recess, meaning they were given 45 minutes when they come back in at 1:00.

Man on Fire (2004)
Corrected entry: After Creasy kills Jorge Gonzales, he pushes the car off a cliff. When the car hits the ground, it explodes - but the explosion actually starts before the car has hit the ground.
Correction: The car actually explodes just as it hits the ground. Not before.

Toy Story 3 (2010)
Corrected entry: The burn mark between Woody's eyebrow (from his run-in with Sid in the first movie) comes and goes throughout the entire movie.
Correction: Andy could easily have painted over the burn mark or had his mum do it. Woody is his favourite toy, so he would undoubtedly not want a burn mark on him. The same goes for his arm from Toy Story 2.

Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)
Corrected entry: In the prison, when the survivors are planning there escape through a hole in the ground in the shower room, they are interrupted by a zombie with a huge axe. It kills a man and hits Alice with the axe, which knocks her to the ground. But the zombie must be atleast 10 ft tall. I understand that he was a human who mutated over time but where did it get the giant axe ?
Correction: This zombie is the Executioner Majini from the Resident Evil 5 video game, making the axe part of its occupation. While it may not make sense for it to appear in Afterlife, it isn't a mistake as it is based on one of the games much like the entire film franchise.

Paranormal Activity 2 (2010)
Corrected entry: In the first scene where the pots and pans hanging from the rack start to swing back and forth and eventually fall, in one of the shots there is suddenly a red pot hanging from the rack that was never there before, no more than a few minutes later when the camera goes back to the rack the red pot has mysteriously disappeared. Same in Hunter's bedroom only this time it is a teddy bear that was sitting by his door while he was being lifted out of his crib that suddenly disappears in the next shot.
Correction: This is in fact two mistakes in one entry, which breaks one of the site's rules. Please submit them individually.

Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)
Corrected entry: Alice throws three shurikens at three guards wearing helmets and kevlar vests. Each guard get hit at the same time on their upper torso, right in their kevlar vests. The men die instantly even though the shurikens did not come in contact with their skin. (00:07:40)
Correction: Alice is infected with the T-Virus, giving her superhuman strength and agility. It would make perfect sense for her to be able to penetrate Kevlar. And who's to say that the three guards are dead? They could have merely fallen to the ground due to the impact of the Shuriken hitting them only to be killed by Alice's shockwave at the end of the fight.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997)
Once More, With Feeling - S6-E7
Corrected entry: During Buffy's training montage, she is seen punching a bag with her wrists bent. First, that's going to be a weak punch, super strength or no, because she can't transfer the force from her arm and body; it just bends at the joint. Second, that's a great way to injure your wrist, because all that escaping force snaps the bend farther. You could strain or even break the joint. After six years, Buffy should know better. (00:31:50)

Iron Man 2 (2010)
Corrected entry: When Tony is creating the new element, he deflectes the prismatic accelerator's beam, which pretty much cuts everything it touches before reaching the new triangular core. However, the beam does not cut through the accelerator's own containment glass, and just passes through it. This is seen in the shot where the prism is rotating and the beam is starting to be deflected, as it has its own VFX for the beam diffraction on glass.
Correction: And? With a detailed explanation as to why this is a mistake, this would be considered a mistake.

Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)
Corrected entry: I understand that Claire could have just taken a swim to wash, but her clothes appeared out of nowhere.
Correction: Be more specific. Do you mean that the clothes she is wearing at the beginning of Afterlife are different to the ones she was wearing when she left in the helicopter towards the end of Extinction, or that her clothes change from Iceland to the prison? As of right now, this cannot be considered a mistake without a more detailed description.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)
Corrected entry: In the school cafeteria, Jill flips on six of the stove gas feeds. As she walks out, she tosses a match that fizzles, meaning that the gas hasn't reached the exit hallway. Seconds later, Alice manages to light the gas by flicking a cigarette at the doors at the far end of the hall just as the dogs break the glass. There's no way that the gas could have filled all that space in that amount of time. Matches burn hotter than cigarettes, so it's not that the gas simply didn't ignite before. (00:55:40 - 00:56:20)
Correction: Gas spreads incredibly quickly, even faster than a match or a cigarette can light. It's perfectly possible that the gas reached the doors in time.
Correction: Under Armour was founded in 1996, not 2006.
