Continuity mistake: When Charlie is sitting at the table cleaning his rifle and Bella is talking to him, he places the cleaning rod (with the green handle) down on the table. In each different shot the rod is in a different place, either hidden behind the collection red ammo or not. (01:14:10)

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Edward is explaining his history to Bella and they are sitting under some branches in the rain, from each wide shot and closeup the position of Edward's wet fringe (bangs) is completely different. (00:57:05)

Continuity mistake: When James, Victoria and Laurent arrive at the baseball game, in the first shot of their arrival Laurent has his dreadlocks hanging over both of his shoulder. In the very next shot dreadlocks are only hanging over his right shoulder, and then back to both shoulders in the next. (01:18:50)

Visible crew/equipment: When Edward first brings Bella to his house, as he is leading her upstairs he stops on the bottom step and turns to her to talk. In this shot you can see the faint reflection of the long microphone pole moving up and down in the glass siding of the staircase. (01:01:30)

Continuity mistake: When the waitress in the diner gives Bella her spinach salad, between shots the salads appearance changes (the tomato slices and onion rings are in different places or disappear altogether.) (01:09:25)

Continuity mistake: As Edward and Bella are dancing on the gazebo at prom, the other two couples leave the gazebo. The first couple who leave walk over to the stairs and start walking down them. In the next shot they're still walking to the stairs and then begin to descend them again. (01:46:00)

Continuity mistake: As the Cullen's are cooking in the kitchen you can see a small television screen with a remote control on the counter behind Esme. Between shots as Edward and Bella enter the kitchen, the angle of the screen and the position of the remote changes. (01:02:00)

Continuity mistake: In the ballet studio, when James is thrown backwards into the mirror by Edward in the first shot he is landing on his backside but in the very next shot he is landing on his shoulders/stomach. (01:34:30)

Audio problem: When Jim and Grace steal the sheriff's car and drive out of the parking lot quickly, the tyres of the car squeal on the ground, however the ground is just dirt and dust so the tyres shouldn't have squealed. (00:45:55)

Continuity mistake: In the scene when the police are chasing after Jim and Grace, Ryder suddenly pulls up and shoots one of the policemen. Then two of the cruiser cars collide and skid down the road. During this scene the metal barriers on the sides of the road keep disappearing then reappearing. (00:49:30)

Continuity mistake: When Jim and Grace are driving away from the police in the stolen sheriff car, they are shot at and the back tailgate and left wing mirror are broken by gunshots. But in following shots you can see both parts of the car completely intact again, the broken, fixed, etc. (00:48:40)

Revealing mistake: The opening shot of the movie shows a rabbit hopping up from the bank of a road and then being hit by a car. You can, however, tell that the rabbit is not real because as it moves up the bank, none of the grass moves as the rabbit bounces through it. (00:01:05)
