Trivia: The firey footsteps that led upstairs were Pyro gel set alight. When it leads upstairs to Freddy set alight, it is stuntman Tony Cecere, who actually specializes in being set on fire.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when Harry gets on the Firebolt, everyone is running outside, and there is no crowd properly formed beside the water fountain, yet when Harry takes off there is a very large crowd watching him all of a sudden. (02:04:05)

The X-Files (1993)
Question: I remember watching two particular episodes when younger, and are curious to know what the titles of the episodes were called. One was about a doll that came alive and the other about the trees coming alive, and the tree roots etc. killing people. What are the episode titles of those two?

Cheaper by the Dozen (2003)
Continuity mistake: When Tom is in an office at the Stallions, Charlie comes in and he says "Dad we need to talk" and then he picks up a rugby ball with one hand. In the following closeup though he suddenly is holding it with both hands. (00:53:35)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Harry and Hermione are back in time, Dumbledore, Fudge, the Executioner and Hagrid come out of Hagrids hut to execute Buckbeak and they find Buckbeak has gone. Then Dumbledore says "I don't think the minister's suggesting you had anything to do with this" and in the wideshot Dumbledore steps up onto the bottom step of the stairs leading to the hut, and stands right by Hagrid. Yet in the following closeup as Dumbledore says "How could you..." Dumbledore is now not on the bottom step, but standing on the path much further away from Hagrid. (01:50:10)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Harry storms into the pub in Hogsmeade, the camera follows his footprints to the door, and at the door is a large clearing where there is no snow, because the ground is sheltered by the door's porch. Yet in the following shot the clearing has decreased greatly. (01:01:35)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: In Hagrid's hut, Hagrid gets something from a cage, and then he tosses it for his creature to eat. If you look closely, you'll see Hagrid *accidently* throws the item over the creature, nowhere near its mouth, yet in the following closeup the item is still flying towards the creature's mouth, and the creature gobbles it up contently! Question: When the fat lady painting lets Harry and the others in after "breaking" the glass, she says something quite quietly to herself, possibly foregin. I can't make it out - does anyone know what she says? The subtitles don't say...
Chosen answer: She calls them plebs - dates back to Roman times, relating to common people.

Continuity mistake: When Harry goes to unchain Buckbeak, in the closeup he is holding the metal ring with his left hand after getting nipped by the crow, yet in the following wideshot his hand is below the ring, and he is now holding the metal chain. (01:48:40)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Dumbledore first introduces Lupin as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, the camera pans to the Gryffindor table. You can see that Ron and Hermione are sitting opposite each other with their dinner sets in front of them. Then Malfoy insults Harry, then when it cuts to Ron saying "Shove off Malfoy" Ron is now sitting opposite the girl who was beside Hermione and not Hermione herself, and the girl couldn't have just moved across because all of her dinner set is in front of her too, perfectly set out. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Revealing mistake: When Malfoy and his friends are messed with by an invisible Harry, Malfoy is dragged along by Harry. In the SECOND shot, when Malfoy is dragged along (which is a closeup shot of Malfoy's legs up in the air) pay attention to the bottom right corner of the screen, and you can see a bare hand quickly move into view, quite close to the screen. This can't be Malfoy's hand because he has gloves on. Slo-mo is not necessary to see this. (01:00:15)

Visible crew/equipment: At the end of the film when Harry is in Lupin's office, Lupin packs his bags and then he walks past his desk. He then starts saying "If I am proud..." to Harry. As he says this, he walks forwards towards Harry, passing a cabinet of skulls. Reflected ahead of him in the glass panel of the cabinet is a very large boom mic which slowly moves out of sight as Lupin walks forward. It is very visible. (02:02:30)

Continuity mistake: When Sirius flies off on Buckbeak, the ground on which he takes off from is a perfectly clean stone ground with nothing on it. Yet after Sirius has flown off, Harry and Hermione run across the same ground, only now it is covered in dead leaves, grass and mud, etc. (01:59:40)

Continuity mistake: When Harry and Hermione travel back in time, Harry walks towards Buckbeak, planning to save him. There are pumpkins around Buckbeak and there is also a black cauldron near him too. The pumpkins and the cauldron move between shots during the scene as do other items in the background, and nobody touches them. (01:48:25 - 01:49:25)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: When Sirius, Lupin, Snape and the rest are gathered together in the Shrieking Shack, in some of the shots we see the main double doors swing back and forth, due to light gusts of wind. However, the doors' positions instantly change in some consecutive shots, even though there is no wind between the two shots. (01:27:35 - 01:30:45)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Continuity mistake: In the Shrieking Shack, Snape enters the room brandishing his wand at Lupin and Black, and both Lupin and Black back away from Snape. Lupin and Black both lean back on the big piano that's in the room. Yet when the shot changes Lupin is still backing away from Snape, and neither Black or Lupin are in front of the piano, let alone leaning back on it. (01:29:20)

Chosen answer: The tree root episode is season five, episode nine and is called Schizogeny. And the doll one sounds like it could be the very next episode (season five, episode 10) called Chinga.
