Continuity mistake: At the start of the scene where the taxi driver leaves Owen out in the desert, in the first wide shot of them driving on the road, the road has no markings on it. In the next shot of inside the car, you can clearly see out the back window of the car that the road now has double yellows lines running across the middle of the road. (00:35:40)

Continuity mistake: Just before Nick talks to Tracy for the first time, he is drinking a beer. Between shots the level of beer noticeably lowers. (00:26:15)

Continuity mistake: When Duane and Blaine are running to the front of the queue at the airport, to buy a ticket, the time on the clock at the receptionist desk is 10:20. In the next shot it is 10:38. (00:28:15)

Continuity mistake: When Blaine and Duane wreck the airport radar, Blaine throws a hook at the radar and it lands in the slot fourth from the right. In the next shot the hook is now in the slot third from the right. (00:29:50)

Continuity mistake: When Randy asks the officer "how fast was I going," his seatbelt jumps from under to over his collar between shots. Again, when Kimberley is begging him to stop at the Barbie museum, the seatbelt repeatedly jumps from over to under his collar. (00:37:00 - 00:39:50)

Continuity mistake: When the bikers destroy Hitler's car, they break off the front left flag. Later, when Hitler's car crashes into the WWII veteran convention, the flag is back. You can also see it is back later when the people come to collect it from the diner car park. (01:07:40)

Continuity mistake: As everyone is grabbing money from the duffel bag, just before all the lights turn on at the "Feed the World" concert, Merrill is getting money from the bag in one shot, but in the next shot, as the lights turn on, she is now nowhere near the bag, and with money in both hands. Other mistake: After the woman falls down the stairs, the lawyer asked what happened and a lady says she "tripped over that glass." How could she have seen this if she was down at the bottom of the stairs? (00:07:00)

Revealing mistake: After Duane falls from the hot air balloon into the oasis, you can see the shadow of the hot air balloon basket, but the shadow of the balloon itself is missing. (01:02:45)

Continuity mistake: When Tracy is flying over Sean's house in the helicopter, the long green hose on Sean's lawn changes position between shots, and in one shot you can see one of the patio chairs has fallen over, but it's back upright in the next shot. (00:43:45)

Continuity mistake: While Duane and Blaine see the two girls in another car, the one with a lot of piercings has her right arm down inside the car in one shot, but in the next shot her arm is on the car door. (01:21:55)

Visible crew/equipment: When Tracy throws the fire extinguisher into Sean's truck, and it goes off, sending CO2 gas everywhere, you can see the thin black tube running across the pavement, to under the car, presumably used to spray the gas out of. That tube wasn't there earlier! (00:44:40)

Continuity mistake: When the rope tied around the radar pulls Duane's truck forward, in a wide shot the sky is crystal blue and totally clear. Once the truck has been pulled to the top of the tower moments later, in another wide shot the sky is now filled with clouds. (00:30:30)
