Audio problem: Cage and his daughter are being chased by Bruce McGill, and Cage is waiting because the lady won't keep the change. When Cage grabs the change, he says "what, are you insane?". The words don't match his mouth movements.

Other mistake: As Roy meets his daughter, he gets out of his car and we see the car door left open as he runs towards her. Near the end of their conversation, the camera focuses on Roy, and through the space between his body and right arm, you can see the side view mirror indicating the door is now shut without anyone touching it. Trivia: Alison Lohman, who plays Nicolas Cage's teenage (14) daughter, is actually 24.
Question: Why is there a scene where the fake detectives are trying to listen to Roy's conversation with his doc? They weren't really cops, the fake hospital room didn't need microphones, etc.

Answer: They needed to get the password for Roy's safety deposit box. They planted the camera and microphones so that they could listen in on the conversation and know what the password is.
