Corrected entry: When the "killer" is videotaping the people while they're sleeping, the campfire is out, but when Carly is walking around outside to find out what it was she heard, it's lit again.
Corrected entry: When Bahamut is summoned by Kadaj, he uses what looks like a green (magic) materia instead of the correct red (summon) materia.
Correction: Incorrect. In the original Japanese version the Summon Materia is green, not red. Red was used for Healing powers in the Japanese version. Since this is merely a dubbed Japanese movie, there was no reason for them to change to colors of Materia for us.
Corrected entry: Charles takes out $100,000 from his bank account. A "front of the house" teller would not have $100,000 in their drawer, nor would that much money be given to someone right in the middle of the lobby. Large withdrawals like that are done in a private back office with a security guard present.
Correction: I worked at a bank for four years and we never took anyone to a back room, nor did we have a security guard. We had to go to the vault to get the money, but it was given to the customer right at the teller window.
Corrected entry: The Interpol agents are able to operate with impunity in Sierra Leone, including arresting Yuri, even though Yuri is a personal friend of (and operating on behalf of) the ruthless dictator who rules the country.
Correction: This entry is correct in its detail, however it fails to point out any mistake in the movie. The applicable scene includes Yuri being detained at the AN-12's landing site. Interpol agent Valentine has no evidence of any wrong-doing so he knows arresting Yuri is fruitless at this point. All Valentine can do is inconvenience Yuri. Valentine even states that if he could delay Yuri for another 24 hours it will be another 24 hours in which Yuri will not be able to supply arms.
Corrected entry: In one of the scenes where the jets are taking off from the carrier, a sailor on the flight deck is standing directly behind the jet blast (in front of the jet blast deflector). When the jets take off, the sailor walks away from the jet blast deflector. The sailor should have been burned to a crisp.
Correction: It's hard to tell the depth but the sailor is behind the blast deflector. To prove this further, when the camera angle changes to the front while the Talons are talking off, you can see that there is nobody standing in front of the blast deflector (s).
Corrected entry: Frank's cell phones in the movie are Nokia 8910i's. Even though Nokia's product placement department keeps sneaking that phone into American movies, that phone will not work in the US GSM band. Frank would have gotten a 'No Service' message.
Correction: My brother in law brought over a phone from Russia which did not work. We simply changed the network card inside the phone, and purchased a service plan here in North America so it does work. Frank could easily do the same.
Corrected entry: When the women with the guns hold up the bank, there is an overhead shot of the whole bank and you can hear Gracie saying things like "It's okay, miss please get down," etc. However, her mouth isn't moving in the overhead shot. (00:04:00)
Correction: Gracie's lips most certainly do move along with her dialogue, in the overhead shot. Use zoom if necessary.
Corrected entry: When the priest shuts his greenhouse door you can see there is no alarm lights on each side of it. But when he hits the alarm button there they are blinking. (00:23:20)
Correction: Nope, they're there. Look to the right and you will see one.
Corrected entry: When we first see Dusty (when he is Dusty Lee) playing the guitar in the Palomino House, it is impossible for him to be playing what is heard. If you listen, you will hear that it takes two guitars to play what he is playing on one.
Correction: In this scene, Dusty is playing using a Spanish finger style, where both a lead and rhythm are played on the guitar, which would explain the sound of what could be interpreted as 2 distinct guitars. Additionally, Dusty plays a 12 string guitar (during when Jamie smiles) in that scene which produces a chorus effect, giving the sound of 2 guitars playing in 2 separate registers.
Corrected entry: When the girls reach the cave, the blue truck parks and the BMW parks on its left side. When the last girl reaches the surface, she gets it the blue truck. When she goes to the truck, the beamer isn't there, But when she pulls out its on the left again.
Correction: This scene is a hallucination of Sarah's, as in the final scene we see she is still in the cave. She can be misremembering where the vehicles were parked, and as she is not thinking, remembering them at one point both being present, and at another only the Bronco II.
Corrected entry: During La Vie Boheme Collins has a cigarette behind his ear that is constantly appearing and disappearing.
Correction: The cigarette only disappears when Collins is smoking it.
Corrected entry: When we first see the sublet notice, it is tacked to the notice board. When it hits David twice and then when he reads it, there is no tack hole or rip at the top of paper. However, there is a little white line where you would expect the rip to be. (00:09:10 - 00:10:05)
Correction: If the paper tore neatly enough that's all there would be - a small line where the pin tore through the paper and the two sides are now realigned.
Corrected entry: In the scene where the panel falls, the lights are on right before it falls. But once it has fallen, in the next shot, the lights are out, without anyone touching them. They're on again once Buck Ace Cluck enters the room.
Correction: The scene goes dark to indicate that the panel hit Chicken Little on the head, not that the lights were literally turned off.
Corrected entry: During the climax, when Top turns on the air flow from his tank, he holds the pressure gauge in his hand so that the face of the gauge is pointing toward him. In fact, you are supposed to point the face of the gauge away from your body, so as not to cause injury if it the glass explodes. No experienced diver would make that mistake.
Correction: This is an "old wives" tale. Modern scuba pressure gauges will not experience a face explosion as there is a pressure relief valve in the assembly to prevent this exact thing from ever happening.
Corrected entry: In final scenes of family viewing tree 1 year later: Amy is now wearing mother's black ring on right index finger and another silver ring on her right ring finger, seen when she places the ornament on the tree. When the shot moves to the embrace in the reflection of the picture, the mother's ring is now on Amy's left hand (index finger) and there is no visible silver ring on either hand.
Correction: As was stated "the next shot" is a mirror image, so the rings on the previous right hand are now still on Amy's right hand. (And the silver ring COULD as well still be on her finger in the mirror image, because it is really hard to see if it is or not, due to the black and white inner picture of Amy's mother Sybil, which overlays heavily.).
Corrected entry: When Tony Jaa defeats the Capoiera guy in the burning temple, he disappears and is never seen again. The same is true for when he defeats the guy with the swords.
Correction: Having been soundly defeated, they both made hasty retreats while Jaa's attention (and therefore the camera's) was focused elsewhere, namely on the newly arrived opponent.
Corrected entry: Just before Oliver leaves Emily's house and gets into the taxi, the shots shown with the back of Emily's head change between her hair being windswept, to not being windswept.
Correction: I am watching this now and her hair is the same through this entire scene.
Corrected entry: Sithandra has Modifications. She has hands instead of feet at the end of her legs. But when she and Aeon doing "acrobatics" while they try to break into the Goodchild HQ, you can see that the actress has feet and no modifications are visible. (00:15:40)
Correction: In every visible shot of her "feet", you can tell they are modified hands and not feet. But since she can move her "fingers" close together, it can give the appearance of feet in quick shots.
Corrected entry: After the girls have rescued Emma and they are on the ground trying to get her to jump into their arms, she says that they are crazy. You can hear one of the girls say "It's ok, I'm a math major!" but, none of them actually mouths the words. It sounds like a voice-over.
Correction: None of the cheerleaders say this because it isn't coming from them. It's Emma who says "Are you crazy? I'm a math major!" None of the cheerleaders is a math major. It isn't meant to be said by any of the cheerleaders, it is coming from Emma off-screen.
Corrected entry: When Valiant gets his bandage caught in the window frame, he starts to fly off, but then he is pulled backwards. Then when he hits the wall - his face hits it instead of his back.
Correction: The bandage is not constantly pulling him back, because it is elastic. Once it yanks him back, his body could have easily twisted.
Correction: The campfire is actually going the whole time, both when the killer is taping and after Carly goes to investigate.
