Corrected entry: At the end of the movie after Seth talks to Chris in the stairwell, Seth goes down a flight of stairs and passes Abby at her desk. However, in the beginning of the movie it is clear that her desk is right outside of the trading room, on the same floor. So how could he go down a flight and still be on the same floor?
Corrected entry: When Petra is kidnapped, her shoes and underwear are left in the toilet. In the next scene she is in, when she is freed, she is wearing shoes and underwear. She is shown taking off the shoes before the fight scene, and we see her underwear during the fighting. (00:42:15 - 01:08:00)
Corrected entry: When Greg is on the plane trying to fit his luggage into the overhead compartment, there is clearly someone sitting in the seat in front of him. At the same time, there is a young guy trying to get by. After Greg asks him where the fire is, he decides to take a seat. But he chooses the row right in front of Greg, which in the previous shot was clearly taken already.
Correction: Greg is standing next to the couple that are in the seats. The man trying to get passed sits in the row in front of them however the couple cannot be seen in the shot.
Corrected entry: As the plane hits the water, Chuck falls backward, toward the rear of the plane. This violates the concept of inertia. He actually would have continued traveling forward toward the incoming water.
Correction: Actually he gets thrown back by the force of the water.
Corrected entry: Its funny that how Mrs Tweedy who says that the chickens "are not organized" can see them all stand in line on role call, and not move a muscle.
Correction: This isn't what she means by "organized". She thinks that they just come to the role call out of fear. They don't come together for secret meetings to plan a way to escape.
Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, Riddick is in the ship, plugging in the power cells. Fluorescent lights flicker on and he doesn't react to it, even though he's not wearing his goggles that protect his light sensitive eyes.
Correction: The lights that come on aren't very powerful, and we've seen that Riddick can withstand some light when he's prepared for it.
Corrected entry: When Gerry and Cookie check in to the hotel, and they have to sleep on a cot in the supply room, Cookie has curly hair pulled back from her face, it's clear from its perfection and shininess that there's already gel in it. Later on that same night, when they go to the mixer, she has her hair straightened and fairly elaborately styled. She couldn't have done that without having first washed her hair - it'd be a frizzy, sticky mess, no matter how much hair gel she used, if she tried to straighten it dry, with gel already in it. And it defies credibility that she'd have been able to fully shampoo her hair in the sink of a lobby bathroom.
Correction: We never see the lobby bathroom, so we don't know how big the sinks are. Furthermore, they're in a supply room near the kitchen. Generally those areas have a large utility sink or a hose and drain that would be large enough to fully shampoo her hair. As a third option, she could have gone to a beauty parlor.
Corrected entry: After all the trouble they went through to steal the surveillance tape from the library (why wouldn't they just keep it in their own building, by the way), it would take an absolute moron to take that tape to the cops without making at least one copy. At least two of the characters knows just how widespread the Skulls' influence is, so anyone with half a brain would make sure they had some evidence.
Correction: Character mistake, not a movie mistake.
Corrected entry: Just before the main shootout, Jill appears in the doorway naked, with her hands behind her back (presumably holding a gun). When they cut back to her both her hands are in front of her - although off the screen on the bottom - and the bad guys don't see she had a gun? She then proceeds to shoot the last bad guy. If she didn't have the gun initially where did she pull it from?
Correction: If Amanda Peet were standing bare-breasted in front of most any male, it's highly unlikely they would notice anything in her hands (or that she even had hands).
Corrected entry: At the end of the film, after most of two gangs have been completely wiped out, the police arrive just as Jet Li is leaving the crime scene. Not only do the police let a Chinese man leave the site of a Chinese/black gang incident, the police completely ignore him!
Correction: They were just arriving on scene, they don't know everyone who was involved yet. Police can't just arrest a person for no reason. Walking near a crime scene is not in itself a crime.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Jeff zaps Jesse and Chester with the stun gun, Jesse and Chester are wearing their special suits. When they get their clothes thrown back to them at the barn, it is their normal clothes.
Corrected entry: At the end, when the broadcast stops, red, white, and blue balloons rain down from the ceiling. If the studio was owned by Fearless Leader, who put the balloons there?
Correction: It might have been placed there in preparation for when Fearless Leader takes over America.
Corrected entry: This movie is set in the 88, however during the scene where John Travolta crosses the street to go to another diner, you see a large "Big K" sign. If I am not mistaken, K Mart hadn't changed it's name yet.
Correction: There were indeed "Big K" stores, they were bought out by Wal-Mart.
Corrected entry: The main background villain in the story is Hernando Cortez, but he didn't come to South America to seek El Dorado. He subdued the Aztec empire in today's Mexico between 1519 and 1521. The only Spanish expedition to seek out El Dorado at that time was under the command of Gonzalo Pizarro.
Correction: It is never stated that Cortez is searching for El Dorado. As he says, he is searching for "Gold, glory, and Spain". It is Miguel and Tulio who search for, and find El Dorado. Since Cortez never actually "finds" El Dorado (because the entrance is destroyed), there's no historical mistake here.
Corrected entry: During scenes where U-571 is being depth charged you can hear active sonar pings. The Kreigsmarine never developed active sonar and used passive sonar (basically a very sensitive listening device) instead.
Correction: Not true. While never as widely used as the ASDIC active sonar by the Allies (due to lack of anti-submarine warfare/convoy duties), the Kriegsmarine developed and used their own active sonar, called S-Gerät and its later variants.
Corrected entry: When someone calls Chloe at her house and tells her to go somewhere, he hangs up when she asks who he was. But you don't hear a dial tone.
Correction: It takes a few seconds for the dial tone to start.
Corrected entry: When Peoples is shot, and falls to his knees, you can clearly see through his pants that he is wearing knee-pads.
Correction: I noticed this too, but the dark part on his knees are dirt stains, not kneepads.
Corrected entry: When the first batch of monkshood serum is being made it is drawn into the syringe as a purple liquid. The scene cuts away to Ginger in the bathroom and returns to a close up of the syringe which is now filled with an orange colored liquid. The syringe appears later in the film (and in the sequel)filled with purple liquid. (01:08:05)
Correction: The fluid is a dark brown/purple liquid. It is consistent throughout the shots. Different lighting may cause it to appear slightly darker or lighter.
Corrected entry: When Yzma calls for the guards to kill Pacha and Kuzko, there are at least ten guards but after Pacha spills the potions of them there are only six remaining (An ostrich, an octopus, a cow, a warthog, a lizard and a gorilla).
Correction: It is stated earlier she had a flea potion, so it is completely plausible she would have potions for other small creatures like an ant, spider, fly, even a mouse. They could have been changed into one of those and would not have been seen.
Corrected entry: If you watch for it, Johnny Knoxville has a brief cameo during the bar fight that Violet calms down by singing "One Way or Another" by Blondie...
Correction: Actually he is in the scene where Rachel gets all the girls to take off their bras, he is in a brown leather jacket and red shirt next to a man in a green shirt.
Correction: At a certain point of time in the film, they pack their things saying they are moving upstairs (nicer offices), so he would have to go down in order to reach the reception level.
