Other mistake: In the end credits, Michael Andretti's name is spelled as "Micheal".

Other mistake: It makes no sense for Hilda to be on the ring apron during Rosa's match with Terrible Tommy much less be in her ring gear when she didn't wrestle on that card.
Other mistake: Originally when BJ introduces himself to Kid, he acts as if he can't recognize him. However, later on Kid gives BJ a scrapbook showing he has followed him all these years and would definitely know what he looks like.
Other mistake: In the championship game at the end, Ray Mitchell hits a two run homer to tie the game. As Mitchell is crossing home, he never touches the plate.
Other mistake: In the beginning of the movie when Mike Myers starts to play 9 to 5, the title comes on the screen. Beneath it it says: (R) MXVIII Paramount Pictures. It's actually supposed to say MMVIII as the movie was made in the year 2008 and not in year 1018. (00:04:40)
Other mistake: Multiple mistakes are made at the end of the game against the Wildcats. Before the final touchdown, the Wildcats are shown leading 13-0 with 6:00 minutes left in the game. After the touchdown, the Wildcats are shown leading 20-3 with 3 seconds left in the game. Based on Mox's position in the two shots, no other plays happened, meaning that the time and score in one of the shots is incorrect. The clock also continues to run when the touchdown is scored even though it's supposed to stop.
Other mistake: Every lake is frozen over enough you can walk on it except the lake where he falls. And he would have died of hyperthermia in 10 minutes or less, being wet.
Other mistake: When Renny is shot the first time, we can see two bullet holes in his shirt, when there should be one.
Other mistake: In the book, the horse is called "The Pie" because it is a piebald, which is a white horse with black spots. The horse used in the movie is not.
Other mistake: Early on, the Babe is seen showing up late at a game in Boston, staggering hung-over to the plate, and hitting a home run. But this was a home game; it would have been the bottom of the first, and if Ruth hadn't been there by game time, some other player would already be playing in his place.
Suggested correction: By the time Babe Ruth played, substitutions were allowed at anytime. Thus, when Ruth showed up late and batted in the bottom of the 1st, he became a substitution for whomever was playing his position during the top of the 1st.
The manager tells the guy who is about to go up to bat to sit down because Babe's here. So Ruth would be pinch-hitting.
Other mistake: Peter took the $100,000 bribe White gave him and turned it into $5,000,000 by betting on his team. He did this, so he could buy enough shares of Global Gym stock and take over the company, and in the process kick out White as the CEO. The problem is $5 million wouldn't be near enough to gain control of the company, to be public its value would have to be at least in the tens of millions.
Other mistake: During the montage for Ross Rhea, there's a clip on the teleprompter showing Ross fighting multiple members of the other team. In the clip, Ross is shown playing for the St. John's Shamrocks and fighting members of the Québec team, but the score ticker at the top of the screen shows the score "MTL 5 BOS 2", two teams in another league that have nothing to do with the game being played. Other mistake: Chico sells Groucho a paper with the name of a horse who is sure to win. It says "ZVBXRPL." Chico explains that the name is in code and then sells Groucho a code book. Groucho looks up the name and says "ZVBXRPL, page 34" but he is looking at a right-hand page. Page 34 would be a left-hand page.
Other mistake: During the end credits of the film, Thunder Monkey's real name is America Ferrera, best known for playing Ugly Betty. However, her name is misspelled as America Herrera.
