Other mistake: When the three ninjas are kidnapped and locked in that room, Tum-Tum is complaining about being hungry. Later on, before the fighting match between Grandpa and Snider, Tum-Tum gives Grandpa jelly beans. Why didn't Tum-Tum just eat those before?
Other mistake: Doug gives Kate his Bobby Hull jersey for Christmas and says it's a game worn jersey. It couldn't have been worn by Bobby Hull because the jersey is missing the Chicago 'C' shoulder patches.
Other mistake: When the Stucci brothers take the fake death photo of Woody at the end of the movie, The Stucci brother driving the van gets in and takes off before the other brother even had a chance to get around the back of the van.
Other mistake: The older Dottie Hinson in the beginning of the movie has blue eyes and Geena Davis (young Dottie) has brown eyes.
Other mistake: Towards the end of the movie when the Dragons are playing the Giants for the pennant, Uchiyama argues with the umpire when he called Jack out for touching home plate. He bumps him not once, but twice. No umpire would stand for this; Uchiyama would've been ejected from the game immediatley.
Other mistake: In the end credits, Charlie Conway is written as Charlie Conroy, and Larsson as Larson.
Other mistake: Early on, the Babe is seen showing up late at a game in Boston, staggering hung-over to the plate, and hitting a home run. But this was a home game; it would have been the bottom of the first, and if Ruth hadn't been there by game time, some other player would already be playing in his place.
Suggested correction: By the time Babe Ruth played, substitutions were allowed at anytime. Thus, when Ruth showed up late and batted in the bottom of the 1st, he became a substitution for whomever was playing his position during the top of the 1st.
The manager tells the guy who is about to go up to bat to sit down because Babe's here. So Ruth would be pinch-hitting.
