Other mistake: During the beginning of the freeway chase scene, a "Maximum Speed 65" sign can be seen along the freeway wall in the slow lane that is facing the opposite direction of traffic. Freeway traffic in that lane would only be able to see it in their rear-view mirrors. (01:25:20)
Other mistake: When Trash first comes back to life as a zombie there is a shot of rain falling and smoke swirling. The shot plays forward, then reverses for a second or two before playing forward again. The rain falls up and the smoke reverses direction.
Other mistake: After the one bad guy crashes into the giant vat of toxic waste, hardly any of the liquid from the container spills out for the first two shots. Then a few cuts later, almost all of it pours from the back of the truck. Judging by the size of the hole it left, more liquid should have been coming out around the truck, not just through it. (01:29:00)
Other mistake: On the ship, Wall-E leaves dirtmarks everywhere, except when he's hiding behind an EVA pod. (00:37:20)
Other mistake: Scott Lang is swept out of the tub after having shrunk for the first time. When he lands on the ceramic bathroom floor, falling roughly two feet, there is an audible glass breaking sound and it appears he has broken the flooring with his fall. He then falls through a plaster ceiling to free fall down to a turn table, landing on a plastic vinyl record played by a DJ. The album does not break despite him having fallen from three times the height and landing on a weaker material. Moments later, he is thrown through a second storey window and lands on a car in the street and his weight is now once again sufficient to form a small dent in the hood. (00:31:15)
Other mistake: The van used by Cecilia to chase Tom should be damaged because of the crash, but it was not.
Other mistake: When Tsireya is shown swimming with Aonung and Rotxo, her right shoulder strap is glitching through her shoulder. It then proceeds to slip back out of her shoulder and into its correct place. (00:59:10)
Other mistake: On board the USS Reliant as it orbits Ceti Alpha 6 the systems panels show ship diagnostic diagrams including a wire model of a Constitution class hull, something the Reliant doesn't have. (00:13:01)
Other mistake: When we see the numbers for the coded entry to Alice's weapon, the order of the numbers is 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 0 - 9. The 9 and 0 are the wrong way round. (00:47:40)
Other mistake: At or just after the point where Steve McQueen restrains the diner owner from running out the door - McQueen's wedding ring is visible on his left hand throughout one entire long-shot. (He was 27, despite playing a teenager, and had been married to Neile Adams for more than a year).
Other mistake: A poster in the school states that the Academic Decathlon takes place on October 14-15. But later on in the movie, another poster says it's on September 14.
Suggested correction: Was in a similar thing in HS. Not too surprisingly, we had more than one event throughout the year. In fact, I've never heard of an extra-curricular with only 1 event. Likely 2 different meets.
They said later on, though, and that would go into the next school year, which is weird for most extracurriculars to have pre-planned events for the next school year.
Other mistake: When the fake TV ads for the Stuff are shown, the container states "1 Pint (.474ml)". 0.474ml is about an eyedropper drip of liquid. The decimal point shouldn't have been there.
Other mistake: At the taxi cab chase at the end, you can notice when the car is a real one and when it's CGI. Note how the real car has scratches and other things on the front of it, but the CGI car, if you look closely, has almost no imperfections, and even if it does have some, it doesn't match the real car one bit. You can see these things when the car drives off his mouth or when you see Godzilla running behind.
Other mistake: Black Widow and her sister steal a BMW. Getting away they damage the left rear quarter. A few cuts later they show the car again and it has no damage to the left rear quarter. (00:40:15)
Other mistake: While flying the helicopters, notice that the human pilots are not wearing protective masks in an open cockpit with the cargo doors wide open as the Avatars are either hanging out of, or staining to see past the pilots.
Suggested correction: This has been submitted and corrected three separate times. The cockpit is sealed off from the outside.
Baloney. The movie made several egregious errors involving the use of masks. In several scenes you see them not wearing masks in human form including going into the lab at the floating mountains. Everyone including Trudy should have been dead within minutes.
Other mistake: When Cade is fighting Savoy, Cade jams his thumb deep into Savoy's right eye socket. A moment later Savoy is seen with no right eye injury.
Other mistake: When they raise the temperature of the room with the facehuggers in, once the room is at body temperature, they open the door onto the much colder corridor. This would have immediately dropped the temp in the facehuggers' room.
Other mistake: After the veterinarian throws blood all over the floor, we see clean spots appear on the floor in the shape of Sebastian's feet as he walks through the blood. Somehow he never has any of it stick to the bottom of his feet (even when he's in the puddle).
Other mistake: When Sulu tells Kirk he is coming to help, he states the Excelsior is currently in the Alpha Quadrant. The problem is the the Alpha Quadrant in the Star Trek universe is one quarter of the total Milky Way Galaxy. While technically correct, Sulu giving his position as in the Alpha Quadrant is useless to Kirk in terms of knowing when to expect help. It doesn't matter where Khitomer is in the galaxy. Sulu saying he is in the Alpha Quadrant gives Kirk absolutely no idea of when he will arrive. He could be anywhere from 5 minutes away to 5 weeks away or even further. Remember, it was originally projected to take Voyager 70 years to go from the Delta Quadrant back to the Federation in the Alpha Quadrant.
Suggested correction: The implication is that Excelsior has only very recently crossed the border from the Beta Quadrant to the Alpha Quadrant.
Even if that "implication" were true (and there's nothing dialogue-wise to indicate such) it's still useless to Kirk as to when the expect help. The dividing line between the Alpha and Beta is fully half the width of the galaxy.
Sulu doesn't expect Kirk to deduce where the Excelsior is, he tells him directly that they're unlikely to make it in time, and the reason is that they are "now in Alpha Quadrant" i.e. they were previously not in the Alpha Quadrant, i.e. they're far enough away that recently they were in a whole other quadrant of the galaxy. (I agree it's an awkward line, but it makes sense if you think of it like "I'm now in the U.S." if it's known you already live there - it means you've just returned).
Other mistake: The guy says "looks like I'll have to send more flowers" then opens up the activation card and code to destroy the building. The code is 50617 but he swipes the card then pushes 50671. (01:00:00)
Suggested correction: If you watch the keys again he presses the exact appropriate numbers in order. 50617.
