Other mistake: Despite being a deadly marksman (only a few minutes earlier in the movie he stopped a bullet directed at him shooting it off the air), Bloodsport snipes several times at the huge kaiju featuring a massive eye in the central part of its body, and never once hits it. (01:51:45)
Other mistake: When Sarah Michelle Gellar is on the bus with her boyfriend, she sees Kayako face looking at her in the window reflection and panics. When she looks back at the window she sees the normal reflection of her face. Trouble is, her reflection is turning her head and looking side to side, whilst Gellar herself is looking straight and not moving her head at all.
Other mistake: When either Kyle or Carson run down the staircase the rails move significantly. On a real plane this would not have passed the pre-flight safety checks and the plane would have been grounded. Nothing in the film suggests the rails would have loosened.
Other mistake: During the time capsule recovery ceremony, there is a man standing next to Nicolas Cage, who pulls out his cell phone to take a picture of the ceremony. However, he's holding the cell phone wrong, pointing the camera towards himself.
Other mistake: When the firefighter is fighting with the arsonist, the gas line is disconnected from the fireplace. Just before the dramatic explosion, the gas line ignites. This is incorrect because the fire would have started from the outlet to the gas (from ignition source to fuel source).
Other mistake: After Langdon saves the last of the Preferati by diving into the fountain, he heads off to St. Angelo with dry clothes. Since it is only ten or fifteen minutes later, his clothes should be soaked.
Other mistake: When Scooby and Shaggy are in the cafe, Shaggy says "Can you believe the cafe ran out of food but we're still hungry." But we can see food behind the counter.
Other mistake: When they look at the negatives on the boat there is the typical holes at the top and bottom of the negative. Then they magnify a part within the picture. After they look at the magnified part, but the holes are still there.
Other mistake: Subtitle (English) appears to be incorrect: "He is setting the scions of criminal investigations back 1000 years" should be "He is setting the science of criminal investigations back 1000 years." "Scions" is a description of the branches of a tree. (01:11:00)
Other mistake: When Johnny Depp finds the two bodies dead in the jeep, he turns around and spots a squirrel in the tree. We get a point of view shot looking at the squirrel, before Depp faints and the camera starts falling to the left. In the next shot, however, we are facing Johnny Depp and see he has fallen on his right side.
Other mistake: The scene where Clear is in the garage, she puts the car in drive, but somehow reverses the car through the garage door. (01:24:49)
Other mistake: After they kill the alien/teacher and leave the school they pass one girl in a blue/green tee-shirt with a waterbottle. Just one scene later you see this girl again under a tree, suddenly in front of them.
Other mistake: When Carl has received the Nassau bank account number from the drug dealer on the phone, afterward you see him typing in "Rita Miller" on the computer. If you watch closely, his left hand pinky never touches the "A" key on the keyboard, yet the "A" in Rita comes up just fine and out of sync with the clicking sounds of the keyboard.
Other mistake: Virtually all the text in the various articles and reports in this movie are fake. Look at the John Kramer article at the very beginning, even at first glance you can tell it's an article about pilgrims or something and has nothing to do with John Kramer. Also, when Staham is going through the articles he found on Hoffman's sister, you can very plainly see that every article (there are a few) is just the same typed out story copied and pasted into various formats. Other mistake: When Lamont walks into the alley to avoid being followed by one of Khan's warriors, he makes himself invisible, and his shadow vanishes as well. It's well noted at the beginning of the film that his shadow is always visible even if he isn't. Therefore, his shadow should still be seen on the ground and give him away.
Other mistake: When Salt was trying to escape in the CIA building, the tactical team was preparing to enter Salt's final hold up, the holographic sight on one of the tactical team member's M4 is mounted the wrong way.
Other mistake: When Loki and Bartleby are in the Mooby boardroom, Loki sits back to continue carving the voodoo doll and tells Bartleby, 'You may proceed, mon ami.' As Bartleby stands up you can see that Loki has cut the head off his 'voodoo doll.'
Other mistake: After the funeral, the guys visit the clubhouse. They open the box for DB Cooper's treasure. The blood they used to sign their blood oath is too red to have been 20 year old blood. It should have darkened to deep, deep purple or brown by now. (00:12:40)
Other mistake: In the beginning of the film where the truck with the machine gunner and the driver is shot, the truck goes out of the road and falls over, but there is no machine gunner falling of the cargo area nor is there any driver falling out from the truck.
Other mistake: When Jody finds the dwarf in the car and recognizes it to be his deceased friend Tommy, he has a quick flashback to Tommy in the coffin and the exact moment Tommy was murdered. But the second flashback makes no sense, Jody never saw Tommy being killed and was told by Reggie that he committed suicide.
