Other mistake: During the big protest march scene which is supposed to have taken place in the early '70's, one Vietnam vet who is sitting in a wheelchair is clearly wearing a pair of high top Reebok sneakers introduced in the late '80's.
Other mistake: The kid that plays young Lou Gehrig later reappears when Ma finds out that Gehrig signed with the Yankees.
Other mistake: When Stephen Hawking's life is played backwards and then rewinds at the end of the film, the sequence of his sudden illness at the concert and subsequent operation at the hospital are the wrong way round. It should show him having the operation, then winding back to his collapse at the concert, but the two events are in the wrong reverse order.
Other mistake: When Leo X is hunting a wild pig, a poem is recited which mentions a boar (at least in the german version). But while the pig is running you can see it is a sow (from its longish nose). After the pig is hit, you can even see the teats. In the next shot the sow is supposed to look like a boar: It now has the characteristic big teeth of a boar.
Other mistake: In the scene where Antwone is in Cmdr. Davenport's office and he is wearing the black, long sleeve shirt and tie, he has mysteriously been promoted from E-1 to E-4. He had never reached that rank anytime in the movie.
Other mistake: The scenery in the "I Love Lucy" on-stage scenes shows the Ricardos' apartment with a living room window. That was the apartment they moved into after Little Ricky was born. Before that, they lived in an apartment with no (visible) window in the living room.
Other mistake: While Jude is watching an expose on himself, the commentator says his real name is Aaron Jakob Heckleman, even though Jude Quinn is the name listed in his high school yearbook shown earlier in the film.
Other mistake: When Kitty reads Michael's letter from England to Harry, there's some strange smoke arising from behind their chairs. (01:19:40)
Other mistake: Just after signing the contract, you briefly see Stan in his hotel room. The smoke from his cigarette is moving downwards.
Other mistake: In the ending credits, Gary Carter is listed twice.
Other mistake: When a Japanese newspaper is shown publicizing Jackie's performance, the headline above the photo actually reported that the Japanese budget had been approved by parliament.
Other mistake: In one flashback to a Carter-fight, while Carter is resting someone rubs his back with a sponge to cool him off. The sponge is dry when it should have been wet.
Other mistake: When Anne and Peter are looking at the stars, Anne points to a star and Peter knows what star she's pointing to. It is impossible to point to a star and have someone else know exactly what star you're pointing to. Try it.
Other mistake: In the scene around the camp fire, Rob Roy can be clearly seen with with plasters on his hand.
Other mistake: Johnny Brown is serenading Molly in the meadow as she sits up on the branch of a tree. In shots where we are looking down on Johnny (from over Molly's shoulder), the shadow of the canopy that protects the actors from the sun can be seen as a perfectly straight line on the ground, behind Johnny. The shaded/unshaded areas move as the canopy shifts in the breeze.
Other mistake: In the turkey shoot the participants have five shots, but Dwight shoots only four times. (00:28:20)
Other mistake: When Sully gets on the plane, his jacket / coat fall off the luggage he is pulling. Even the flight attendants do not realised what happened. (00:27:28)
Other mistake: In the scene when Hector Lavoe and his wife (Mark Anthony and JLo) are walking down the street in New York, on the right hand of the screen you will see a man taking a picture with his cell phone. The scene is supposed to be based in the 70's.
Other mistake: Ed Wood's second girlfriend (later his wife) is not a practiced knitter. Her technique is terrible and she looks like she was taught how to knit about five minutes before the scene.
Other mistake: In the scene where Frank is watching the Bond film: turn on subtitles. You will notice that when Bond says "Tell me Jill, why does he do it?", the subtitles read "Tell me Joan, why does he do it?". (00:57:05)
