Finding Dory

Question: In the post-credit scene, The Tank gang are seen still trapped in their now algae-covered plastic bags as they reach California. Since this movie takes place a year after "Finding Nemo" (2003), how did these fish survive without eating anything for a whole year?

Then what about being able to breathe or not being eaten?

Question: In the list of the cast at the end credits, one of the role names is "Chickenfish" which I don't remember at all. Please just tell me when this fish appears in the film? I have no idea what it looks like.

Bunch Son

Chosen answer: Kathy "Chickenfish" is a reoccurring, although minor character. She was in Finding Nemo as well. She's blue and green with spots and has buck teeth. She was concerned about Mr. Ray coming back from migration. (In Finding Nemo she was the one who said "Oh, my gosh! Nemo's swimming out to sea!").

Question: Is it ever explained why Dory has her memory problems? Why she has such an incredibly bad memory, even for one of her species? Head injury, exposure to a chemical, genetic?

dizzyd

Chosen answer: In the absence of a neuropsychological work-up, we have only Dory's word for it: "I have short term memory loss...It runs in my family...at least, I think it does." So, Dory believes it to be genetic. At least, I think she does.

Michael Albert

Answer: Because she has short term memory loss.

Question: What is the name of the song that was briefly played in the truck right before Hank showed up at the front window scaring the driver into getting out?

Bunch Son

Chosen answer: Louis Armstrong - What A Wonderful World.

Continuity mistake: When Dory reads the word "Destiny" on the white bucket, its handle is attached over the letter "t", but when Dory forces the glass carafe to tip over, now the handle is attached over the letter "e."
