Cold Spells - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: When Link first tries to sell the lie that he is sick to Zelda, he is sitting on his bed after attempting to kiss her. Spryte tries to baby him, so Link wraps himself up in a sheet. The close up shot shows that there is some of the sheet under his feet and dangling off the bed. The next shot, there is no sheet under his feet, nor dangling off the bed. (00:18:15)
Cold Spells - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Zelda is standing in Link's room and complaining about the mess. Just before the Triforce of Wisdom speaks to her, it shows Zelda from behind and there is a window next to her. It is shut, and the doors are wide, have thick horizontal braces, and have O shaped rings on each side as handles. Then after the Triforce speaks, there is a shot from in front of Zelda, and the same window is shown. Now the window is skinnier, the doors on it are darker, the horizontal braces are thinner, and the O shaped rings are gone. (00:16:55)
Cold Spells - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: After his fake sneeze and Spryte comes to investigate, Link is mopping next to a fire place. This shot shows him right up next to it. Then when Spryte says "Oh dear, no." The shot changes to a close up of Link. Suddenly, he is quite a bit further away from the fire place. (00:16:40)
Cold Spells - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Spryte hears Link do his first fake sneeze and rushes in to where Link is mopping. There is a bucket beside the fire place now that was not there a moment before. (00:16:30)
Cold Spells - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: As Zelda backs up into the castle and kicks the mop to Link, there is a red table and chairs behind her. This shot shows the chairs are small, and have crooked legs. But when Link walks in a few moments later, the chairs and table are larger, and the legs are now straight. (00:16:15)
Continuity mistake: The second floor window over the wheelbarrow is first shown with no shutters on it. Then in the shot where the barrel is falling from it, there are now red shutters. (00:30:35)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Link smacks the bomb back at Ganon and it follows him into the cave. As it is going towards the cave, the bomb is spinning. But when the shot changes to Ganon running through the door of the cave and the bomb follows him, it has stopped spinning. (00:14:00)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Revealing mistake: Link blocks a bomb thrown at him into the air. As it is coming back down, the motion of it was lazily animated. The bomb has spikes on it, and to indicate the one pointed directly at the camera, it is shown with a very slight point towards the top of the screen so it doesn't look like just a gray dot. But the bomb is spinning, and so the point goes around with it, despite being directly at the camera and looks like a clock hand. (00:13:50)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: When surrounded by skeletons, Link and Zelda get back to back and Link straps his belt around them. In the first shot showing the skeletons advancing on them, neither Link nor Zelda is directly facing any of the enemies. Link is facing down on the screen towards some trees, and Zelda is facing up and to the left, towards some trees. The shot cuts to Ganon screaming "Get them!" and then cuts back to the skeletons, still in the same spot in their advance on the heroes, with no time to give them to move while strapped together. Now suddenly Link is facing directly at the skeletons towards the top right, and Zelda is directly at the ones on the bottom left. (00:12:50)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Revealing mistake: After crashing on his skeleton-drawn throne, Ganon stands up and orders the remaining 3 skeletons to attack Link and Zelda. Watch his head as they pass by him. At two different times while they pass by, Ganon's head randomly jumps out of place and onto his shoulder for a frame or two, then back where it goes. (00:12:30)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Revealing mistake: When fighting the dragon, the dragon's fire has absolutely no effect on any shadows or lighting at all. (00:09:40)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Link rolls off the dragon and is by a pot of flowers. The flowers appear to be all white. A few shots later from another angle, and now the flowers are a mixture of colors, mostly white and purple. (00:09:55)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Factual error: Link is next to a flower pot after he rolls off the dragon. The shadow effects on the items around him are all wrong. By the lighting, you can tell that the light source of the sun is behind Link and to the left of the flower pot. The flower pot's shadow is stretching to the right of the screen. But the steps, which are in the same lighting, have their shadows cast to the left, into the light. (00:09:45)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Revealing mistake: As Link rolls off the dragon and lands by a flower pot, he has no shadow. But other things around him do, including the flower pot. (00:09:45)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: The steps Zelda was sitting on while judging the amateur magician contest were a brownish red color. As Link is fighting the dragon on the same bricks that is made of, they are still that color. But one shot just after he pulls out his shield those same bricks are shown as gray like concrete, then back to brown again. (00:09:55)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Af the amateur magicians contest, there is a fountain in the court yard. There are some statues in the middle of it. But after Zelda screams and Link looks out the window of his tower, the view from above shows no statues in the same fountain. (00:07:20 - 00:09:30)
The Ringer - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: The shot where the birds fly up to the castle shows that the tower Link is in has windows. There is one visible towards the top, and a few more on the second level. Later, when Link whistles at Zelda, it shows another exterior view of that same tower with Link in the top window. Now there are fewer windows on the lower level. (00:01:00 - 00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: After Prince Facade tells Zelda he won't save her cause of the mud, she yells at him as the Zola is carrying her off. She is waving her left arm at him. Then the shot cuts to Ganon seeing this through his gazing ball and suddenly it's Zelda's right arm that is waving at Facade. (00:41:40)
Continuity mistake: Prince Facade chases the Zola that has Zelda to a swamp. The Zola jumps into the mud and Facade comes to a screeching halt. It then cuts to a close up of Facade. His arms and hands change position between shots. (00:41:20)
Revealing mistake: After Zelda is kidnapped by the Zola, Prince Facade rushes out the castle door with a giant Spider hanging on him. Watch closely as he opens the door. For several frames as the door opens, there is nobody there. But once the door is a little past half open, Prince Facade and the spider suddenly just appear in the shot almost already out the door. (00:41:00)
Chosen answer: Because they were technically the same show. The 65 episodes of Super Mario Brothers Super Show contained 52 episodes of Super Mario and 13 episodes of The Legend of Zelda.
