Happy Birthday, Dear Hogan - S4-E26
Continuity mistake: LeBeau meets a female underground contact in a movie theater. They have to kiss to avoid detection by the Gestapo. When LeBeau leaves the theater there are no lip stick kisses on his right cheek, but when he returns to camp he has some. (00:18:00 - 00:19:00)
Suggested correction: Simple, they kissed again before LeBeau arrived back at camp. Nothing to see here.
Never Play Cards with Strangers - S4-E7
Visible crew/equipment: As Hogan takes off with Von Treger's car, the camera crew and equipment are reflected in the windows.
Continuity mistake: As Newkirk says he volunteers, he straightens to attention, hands by his sides. A second later, his hands are in front" holding a bit of laundry.
Happy Birthday, Dear Hogan - S4-E26
Plot hole: In the cinema, Hogan and his female underground contact avoid attention from a passing plain clothes policeman by kissing. This is wrong for three reasons. Firstly, 3rd Reich Germany wasn't so liberal that open kissing in the cinema would have passed as normal, it would probably rather have been viewed as libertine and offensive. Secondly, the scene takes place with a speech of Hitler as the background, which can hardly be viewed as romantic, and thirdly, this is even more true for the Gestapo, who was tasked with ratting out political dissent. To a Gestapo officer, ignoring the Führer's speech and kissing instead would make them stand out doubly.
Klink vs. the Gonculator - S4-E2
Factual error: They would never use their real names and whereabouts when talking on the radio.
Factual error: When the farmer sticks his pitchfork into the haystack, a scream is heard, but then everybody emerges unscathed. Wounds from pitchforks aren't like sitting on a brass tack - even a quick jab usually earns you a trip to the surgeon (I've seen such wounds), a vigorous stab like the one in the scene would go through limbs and could easily kill a man. There's no way anybody would walk away from such a hit.
Continuity mistake: When Hogan drinks Klink's wine, he picks up the glass with his right hand and his left arm is behind him. A second later, Hogan's left hand is in front of his chest.
Man's Best Friend Is Not His Dog - S4-E6
Continuity mistake: Hogan's arms change position when holding the dog. First, his left is under the dog, and after the angle change, his right is under the dog.
Continuity mistake: At the end, Hogan has the note from Nimrod in his right hand. When the shot changes, it's in his left hand.
Will the Real Colonel Klink Please Stand Up Against the Wall? - S4-E13
Continuity mistake: In Klink's quarters, Schultz stops Hogan from disturbing Klink. When he does, Schultz's arm is across his chest. When the angle changes, his arm is at his side.
Continuity mistake: The trick ring Morrison has is on his right hand at the hotel, missing in front of the hotel, and reappears in front of German HQ.
The Return of Major Bonacelli - S4-E25
Continuity mistake: When Klink is insisting on talking to the cook, Bonacelli has his hands clasped in front of his plate. When the angle changes, his hands are down on wither side of his plate.
Will the Blue Baron Strike Again? - S4-E12
Revealing mistake: When Hogan, Newkirk, and Carter are at the Blue Baron's secret airfield, Hogan opens the barrel and stuffs in a rag and lights it so it will be a flare for the Allied bombers. The flight line and the planes on it are an obvious cutout. The fire couldn't have spread to the surrounding ground like it was shown. Also, when the bombs were going off on the airfield, you can see that the explosions are very small charges behind the cut outs.
Continuity mistake: When a German Major is in Col Hogan's quarters he is wearing black leather gloves. He raises his hand to remove his hat (with gloves). Next scene he is lowering his hat with bare hands. (00:02:10)
Color the Luftwaffe Red - S4-E8
Factual error: The medal Newkirk steals from the German officer in the pub is a Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. There were a total of 148 presentations, most of them 1943-45. By 1942 (where the series is apparently set), less than 25 had been presented. That Newkirk should actually stumble across a wearer by pure chance is highly unlikely, that the wearer should actually "never miss it" as Newkirk states, is plainly impossible. Being the fourth highest ranking military decoration of the Wehrmacht, it would have been missed almost immediately - if not by the wearer himself, then by his fellow officers. (00:22:35)
Character mistake: After Le Beau is questioned, Schultz is told to take him back to his cell. Schultz calls "About face! Forward march!" The "about face" is wrong. The door that Le Beau goes out is on his right, therefore the command should have been "right face."
Will the Blue Baron Strike Again? - S4-E12
Continuity mistake: At the airfield, Carter and Newkirk go to move, Carter steps left, and falls into the water. Newkirk takes a step, and leaps into the water, losing his hat, and trying to make it look like Carter pulled him, but you can see him looking to the way he falls. When the camera angle changes, Carter is splashing about, and Newkirk walks up to him from the left without having gotten out from where he fell. And his hat is on, despite losing it from jumping in.
Continuity mistake: Carter and Hogan are in Klink's outer office when Hogan takes a piece of paper off Carter and folds it into a square. Klink arrives and grabs the paper which has now unfolded to a rectangle. (00:09:10)
