Continuity mistake: At the start, Station 51 and Truck 8 are dispatched to the cardiac patient stuck in the elevator, and we even see Truck 8 roll up in front of the building in the overhead exterior shot, but in the hotel it's 127's guys with 51's.
Other mistake: At the start of shift, while John's putting the pillowcase on the pillow we hear the dispatcher say, "Boat fire, dock 61," but subtitles read, "Open fire, dock 61." Subtitles from Universal Studios 2010 DVD.
Continuity mistake: When Johnny explains to Roy how he met Cynthia, he says that he "TX'd for Kirk on B shift," and at the end of the episode we see Kirk, who traded shifts with Chet, and Kirk is even played by the same actor who played 110's Kirk, Tom Wheeler's partner in a previous episode Publicity Hound, and also in the next episode, Crash.
Continuity mistake: After being dispatched to "industrial accident at railroad yard," once they rescue the man from the train car carrying trichlorethylene, when Roy and John are standing beside Engine 51 we can see the empty red disc on the side of the engine covering the real engine company number (127), as well as the American flag sticker on the windshield. Earlier, when they were dispatched, there's no disc or sticker in the closeup of Engine 51 (played by Engine 60).
Other mistake: When Roy and John get back to the station and start discussing Cynthia, John takes a milk container out of the fridge which has orange tape covering the brand name.
Other mistake: When Station 51 is dispatched to the industrial fire, once they arrive there are a few shots of the crowd of bystanders, many in their robes. This footage is from the first episode "The Wedsworth-Townsend Act", during the factory fire at the start of the episode.
Visible crew/equipment: At Rampart, when Dixie walks over to Dr. Brackett, who stands behind the station, the tape mark is visible on the floor, just before she steps precisely on it.
Other mistake: When the tones drop and the lights come on, waking up 51's guys in the middle of the night for the industrial fire, there are two closeups of the guys putting their feet into the boots and pulling up their turnout trousers. The problem is that the closeups are not Station 51's guys - note the beds, linens, walls, floor are all different. The two closeup shots are from the first episode "The Wedsworth-Townsend Act", and the guys are from Station 10.
Other mistake: When Station 51 is dispatched in the middle of the night to the industrial fire, the dispatcher says "Time out 1:07," but later at Rampart after Brackett tells Johnny to stay the rest of the night because of the exposure to the radiation, we hear the voice on the PA announce, "Visiting hours are over" even though it's supposed to be at least 3:00 AM.
Other mistake: During the burglar's rescue, when Roy uses the K-12 to cut the shaft he stops and hands the K-12 to Johnny, and in the closeup we can see he has made only one vertical cut on one side and to his left the fiberglass material hasn't even been ripped off, but after Cap's close-up, Roy's part of the shaft has been cut away on the left and right sides going all the way around the shaft, which is quite impossible since Johnny had already taken the K-12 from Roy.
Other mistake: While searching for the location of the burglar in the shafts, after John asks for a boost up, we hear one of them say, "Cap," and Cap says, "Oh. Here's a ladder, Johnny," but the subtitles read that Roy says that. (It's worth seeing Johnny drop his helmet on Chet's head.) Soon we hear Johnny say, "Man, he's really stuck..." but subtitles read, "Damn, he's really stuck..." Then later, when John helps carry the cut shaft into the hall, Cap tells him, "Here, I'll take that," but subtitles read that John says that.
Continuity mistake: When the guys of Station 51 are dealing with the rescue of the doctor from the radioactive lab, Johnny's, Chet's, and Marco's SCBA cylinders change during this scene while they're all wearing them. Differences such as tall, slim, with a flat top vs short, wide, with a rounded top, and also the writing on the tanks. Marco's even changes between shots, when he exits the lab's doorway.
Other mistake: After Station 51 responds to the 'man caught in an air conditioning duct', when they get on the elevator its metal sliding doors and metal jamb on the lower lobby have scratches and dents on the exterior, and the same scratches and dents are on the doors and jamb, when they reach the upper level.
Other mistake: When 51's guys are watching an Adam-12 episode on TV (in Emergency!'s pilot, Reed and Malloy are real), on that show just after Reed is knocked out, the hitman says "Nate would've blown his stack if I'd let you go," (refers to hitman's partner, Nate), but Emergency!'s DVD subtitles read, "Pete would've blown his stack," (Pete Malloy is Jim Reed's partner). Moments later hitman Nate yells, "I wanna talk a deal," but subtitles read, "I wanna talk to Neil," and there isn't even anyone named Neil.
Continuity mistake: While cutting the shaft where the burglar is trapped, in the close-up of Johnny taking the K-12 from Roy we can see the ladder that Roy's standing on, and when it cuts back to Roy after Cap's closeup, the ladder Roy's standing on has switched around to the opposite way.
Continuity mistake: While Brackett is treating the man who was in a fight, it cuts to Early walking down the hallway, and in the shot from the hallway he's entering treatment 4 which is beside the nurses' station, but in the next shot from inside the room we see he's actually in treatment 2, the one beside the receiving entrance.
Revealing mistake: When Roy and Johnny are in the radioactive lab, loading the unconscious doctor with severe radioactive poisoning onto the stretcher, note that the unconscious doctor is lifting his own left arm, and moving it onto the stretcher so it's resting beside him properly.
Continuity mistake: Before 51's guys rescue the burglar trapped in the air conditioning duct, Vince's helmet has a highly polished and reflective surface, but when Vince reads the Miranda rights he's wearing a different helmet, it now has a matte surface.
Continuity mistake: When Roy tells the other guys of 51 what they need to do to rescue the doctor, once they're in the hot room, in the wide shot Roy's holding the handie-talkie in his right hand as he's gesturing with that hand, but when it cuts to Roy's closeup the HT has vanished from his right hand, as he's still gesturing.
Character mistake: When Roy and Johnny are waiting outside the radioactive lab, Roy sends Marco and Mike to replace Chet and the captain. When Chet and the captain come out, the captain points to Chet and then points up the hallway, while he says "All right, take off you two," even though it's only Chet who's heading outside to be decontaminated, and he could not have meant, "All right, take off you too," for the same reason.
Answer: I was rewatching a few first season episodes of Charlie's Angels (1976), and in S1xE6 "The Killing Kind," I recognized the same actor. So, to finally fully answer your question, the two baseball players in School Days are played by Rod Perry and Sean Fallon Walsh.
