Continuity mistake: When the imposter Gilligan is playing chess with Mr. Howell, the long shots show the imposter holding the spoon transmitter near the center of the table the chess board is on, whereas the close-ups show the transmitter close to the edge of the table.
Continuity mistake: In the hut, "Gilligan" has the spoon of his transmitter knife open so his commander can hear the conversation. In the wide angle shots, the spoon is half way out. In the close ups, it's fully in position.
The Friendly Physician - S2-E29
Plot hole: The scientist yells for Igor to capture the escaping Castaways, to which Igor responds "capture them yourself" in Ginger's voice. The scientist appears surprised to find out Igor is not Igor, but how can this be? He had to be the one to pull the lever to switch everyone's personalities and bodies around, so he should have already known.
Don't Bug the Mosquitoes - S2-E12
Trivia: The Wellingtons, who sang the Gilligan's Island theme song, appeared in this episode as Gilligan's favorite group The Mosquitoes.
Question: In this episode, as the Professor is put into a trance, in the background, there seems to be a radio or television transmission tower that can be seen over the roof of the hut. It's blurry, but doesn't seem to be a standard palm tree. Is this a mistake, or set error, or my imagination?
