Lost

The Long Con - S2-E13

Continuity mistake: There is a shot where Sawyer tosses Jack a medicine bottle or something. First shot we see Jack reach out to catch it with his left hand. Next shot from the front Jack catches it with his right.

One of Them - S2-E14

Visible crew/equipment: When Sawyer searches for the tree frog in the jungle he moves away from the shot towards the trees and when he comes back closer to the camera you can see the shadow of the cameraman on the tall grasses on the lower right.

One of Them - S2-E14

Revealing mistake: When Sayid and Locke are talking to Henry Gale in the hatch, just as Jack comes in and finds them, the front part of the arrow supposedly piercing Gale's shoulder is at a different angle to the back part. This is visible in a number of shots.

The Whole Truth - S2-E16

Other mistake: When the doctor stops Sun on the streets to tell her that Jin is the one who can not have children, at one point the subtitles say "You're husband." The correct spelling would be "Your".

Lockdown - S2-E17

Dave - S2-E18

Revealing mistake: When Ana Lucia is threatening "Henry Gale" in the hatch cell; every time he moves and his makeshift shirt slips, you can see a line on his right upper arm where they applied make-up. Apparently he's wearing makeup on all the exposed parts of his face and neck to make him look sunburned, exposed to the elements etc. This is not just a normal suntan line, as his shirt wouldn't normally fall down that much out in the open and he's been inside for days now.

Dave - S2-E18

Continuity mistake: When the doctor takes the polaroid picture of Hurley and Dave, there are others patients behind them, right in front a window. But at a further scene, when Hurley sees the photo 'without Dave', these other patients are missing too.

Dave - S2-E18

Continuity mistake: At the end of the scene in the gym of the mental hospital when Hurley and Dave talk, in the background there is a guy sitting on the floor in a yoga-like position. His exact location changes between shots, as you can tell by the ground-lines. First he sits on the red line, next to where the blue and the yellow lines cross, then he sits about 5 feet further to the right, and finally he is back exactly on the same spot as in the beginning.

Dave - S2-E18

Continuity mistake: When Libby kisses Hurley at the cliff, there is a strand of Libby's hair which you can see hanging freely over her left cheek when the camera is on Hurley. When the camera is on Libby you see the same strand pinched between their heads. Then as the camera switches back on Hurley the strand hangs freely again. It's not possible that this happened only through the force of wind as their heads are stuck together quite tightly throughout the whole kiss.

S.O.S. - S2-E19

Continuity mistake: In S.O.S., Locke is trying to remember the map he saw on the blast door. He ignores the blaring alarm until Jack reminds him, and Locke inputs the code and hits EXECUTE. The camera cuts to a shot of the numbers resetting, and then back to Locke, and he takes his finger off the EXECUTE button a second time. (00:02:30)

S.O.S. - S2-E19

Continuity mistake: In episode 2-19 SOS When Bernard is talking to Rose after she questions him in front of the group about his "sign" when the close ups are on Bernard you can see that it is raining quite heavily in the background, but when it's close up on Rose it is not raining. It doesn't begin to rain in the episode until much later.

The Glass Ballerina - S3-E2

Benjamin Linus: Your flight crashed on September 22,2004. Today is November 29th. That means you've been on this island for sixty-nine days. And yes, we do have contact with the outside world, Jack. That's how we know that during those sixty-nine days, your fellow Americans re-elected George W. Bush, Christopher Reeve has passed away, Boston Red Sox won the World Series.
[Jack begins to laugh.]
Benjamin Linus: What?
Jack Shepard: [Still laughing.] If you wanted me to believe that, you probably should have picked somebody else besides the Red Sox.
Bejmain Linus: No, they were down 3-0 against the Yankees in the Championship Series and then won eight straight.
Jack Shepard: [Skeptically.] Sure, sure. Of course they did.
[Ben turns on a VCR.]
Joe Buck: Back to Foulke... Red Sox fans have longed to hear it! The Boston Red Sox are world champions! A clean sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Red Sox celebrate in the middle of the diamond here at Busch Stadium.

Season 1 generally

Question: When Claire is pregnant with her baby, her belly looks very realistic. Does anyone know how they make it look so real?

Answer: Using a mold, a realistic pregnancy belly is made of latex (rubber), including the distinct belly button, to suit the proportions of Emilie de Ravin who plays Claire. It is then painted with a special paint/adhesive compound that adheres to the surface and for shots of the actual belly, additional veining and stretch marks are airbrushed on.
