Continuity mistake: When Linda is showing the apartment to the Captain, she has her phone in her left hand and crosses her arms. Her arms stay crossed, but then in a later shot, with her arms still crossed, the phone is in her right hand.
Continuity mistake: When Jay pulls up to the marina, he parks at an angle and quickly jumps out and then we see him take off in his boat. When the Captain arrives, Jay's car is no longer at an angle and is parked properly.
Continuity mistake: When Monk and Al are sitting to drink wine, Al grabs his bottle with one hand to pour the wine and the other hand is hanging down to his side. In the next shot, as he's pouring the wine, he's holding the glass with the other hand. In the next shot, his hand is by his side again.
Mr. Monk Gets Stuck in Traffic - S3-E13
Continuity mistake: When Monk is talking to Daniel on the radio, in the shots from inside the truck, Krystal is standing next to the open door, to Monk's left when he turns to face her. In the shots from outside the truck, Krystal is now away from the door and to Monk's right.
Mr. Monk Gets Married - S2-E15
Continuity mistake: In Dalton's antique store, in the close of the forged map, the "sold" tag is covering part of the state names (mainly the West in West Virginia) and part of the picture. In the wide shot, the tag is now in the corner and not covering anything.
Mr. Monk and the Big Reward - S4-E13
Continuity mistake: During grocery checkout, the vegetable oil keeps shifting around between shots, from next to the clerk to behind the cereal. (00:06:00 - 00:07:00)

Continuity mistake: When Monk and Natalie fall off the bike the bike wheels are on the path. In the next shot they are on grass and the front wheel is at an angle, in the scene where they finish rolling down the hill the bike wheel is now straight.
Mr. Monk Is On The Air - S5-E13
Continuity mistake: When Monk and Natalie are getting out of their car at Max Hudson's house, there is a woman on the sidewalk walking past the house. As soon as Monk asks, "What station is he on?" the camera angle changes to a view from Max's porch, and said woman suddenly disappears, when she should be seen walking across the driveway. (00:07:55)
Mr. Monk and the Class Reunion - S5-E6
Continuity mistake: When Natalie is noticing Monk's nickname on his registration form, you can see a female extra with black hair, a gray outfit and a purse on her left shoulder walk past Natalie on the left side of the screen. Twenty seconds later, as Natalie is turning and preparing to walk away, the exact same female extra walks past her again, again going in the same direction. Also, in the same shot, you see a male extra with a satchel over his shoulder walk past the camera as Natalie is pulling the form from her purse, and he briefly and instantly reappears walking past Natalie again at the point where she grins and says, "I don't know!" for the second time. Continuity mistake: When Monk and Natalie are first talking to Kendra Frank, when Kendra says,"Look, they're trying to say he OD'd! Okay? That's impossible! He's been clean for 17 months! I know, I talked to him about it every day!" you can see that Monk has his right arm down by his side. But when the camera changes angle to Natalie replying,"Well, Kendra, we were there. We saw a needle in his arm," Monk's right hand goes from being by his side to scratching the side of his cheek with his finger. (00:13:10 - 00:14:35)

Continuity mistake: When the Captain and Randy are talking in the garage, in the shots over Randy's shoulder, the pad on his guitar strap is over his shoulder. In the shots from behind the captain, the pad is behind his back and can't be seen. (00:24:40)

Continuity mistake: Watch the bore brush as Monk is looking at it in Linda's house. It's straight at first but is bent a few shots later.

Continuity mistake: In the very first scene when Natalie is running to Stottlemeyer's car, she throws the walkie talkie through the open side window into the car. But in the next two shots it is back in her hands.

Continuity mistake: After Cowboy Hank twirls his guns, his arms are raised. When it cuts to a shot from behind his back, his left gun is in its holster and his arms are still raised. He then holsters his right gun. (00:39:05)

Continuity mistake: During the brunch scene with Natalie's parents, the rolls in the bread bowl change position several times. In some shots, there are four, in others, there are five. They also go from being piled on top of each other to being arranged in the bowl and back several times. They're out of Monk's reach, so he's not just "making them even" either. (00:04:50 - 00:06:35)
Mr. Monk's Other Brother - S7-E10
Continuity mistake: When Adrian is talking to Dr. Bell, after he says, "And they needed help," you can see that Dr. Bell's glasses are in his left hand. In the next shot, you can see that they are on his face and his hand is empty. (00:29:15)
Mr. Monk and the End - Part II - S8-E16
Continuity mistake: Series 8, episode 16: When the nurse enters, four pill cups are placed orderly, but in the next shot the cups are arranged messily before the nurse touches them. (00:19:10)
