Other mistake: When Jim is editing the audiobook of Jo's autobiography, the waveform displayed on his computer program is inaccurate to the phonetics of the phrase being uttered. The crew of the show simply pasted in a random waveform of someone speaking a different sentence. There are a number of ways to tell it is inaccurate, but one is the periodicity of the waveform during the sibilant [s], which appear be noisy and not periodic. (00:15:20)

The Old Man - S4-E18
Revealing mistake: After The Old Man's dentures are destroyed in the garbage disposal, he shouts that his dentist is "downtown." There is sibilance audible in his production of the T sound (after the stop release). Sibilance is high frequency noise cause by turbulent airflow directed at the front teeth vibrating randomly in a small space; if he had no front teeth, there should be no sibilance. (00:14:35)

Box Cutter - S4-E1
Continuity mistake: When Gus starts to walk away from where he killed Victor, he drops the Box Cutter, and we see it landing. However, after a cut to the next shot, its position has changed. It is no longer sitting on the line in the floor, and it is pointing 180° in the other direction. We can also see from Walt's shadow that the Box Cutter has moved quite a bit further away from Walt. Factual error: When Peterman is making a toast at his party, he quotes what he says is something said by the Papa New Guineans, and he proceeds to pronounce a sentence filled with clicks (lingual-ingressive consonants). However, this is impossible, as clicks are only used in southern African languages and three east African languages. (00:03:10)
