Mr. Rabb Goes to Washington - S4-E8
Continuity mistake: The lone shark's thugs break down Mac's door trying to get to her husband, Chris Ragle, who is hiding in her apartment. Although the door is splintered to pieces, later that night, the same door is back in perfect condition, including the custom paint job that matches the interior decor of the apartment.
Continuity mistake: When Rabb takes off with the F-117 in the Iranian desert we see bushes when he lifts off, however in the next shot, when we see the Nighthawk from the front, the bushes are gone.
Continuity mistake: After Big Bud punches Dobie, younger Bud is visible having run around a corner to help break up the fight. In the next shot, Bud is nowhere to be seen and he runs around the corner again. (00:12:30)
Audio problem: When Mikey asks Bud if he can stay at the party in the bar, his mouth isn't in sync with the words. (00:35:25)
King of the Greenie Board (1) - S5-E1
Continuity mistake: When Harm deals with the Lear Jet, his F-14's registration number keep changing with each different shot of it.
Ghosts of Christmas Past - S5-E11
Factual error: There would never be a show on the deck of a carrier while there are missions being flown.
The Bridge at Kang So Ri - S5-E18
Continuity mistake: When Harm is landing the plane, there is a shot of his hand on the controls, but it is minus his school ring which was there in the previous shots.
The Witches of Gulfport - S5-E21
Continuity mistake: While Mac is in a restaurant with three of the Wiccans, another woman comes over to give them verbal abuse. When you first see her, part of her dress is showing. When the camera comes back to her, that part is no longer seen. Also, the exterior scenes indicate that the location really isn't Gulfport.
Visible crew/equipment: When Harm and Webb walk into Harm's apartment talking about Harm's brother, a crew member can be seen.
Audio problem: When Gunny's sister shows up at JAG, Gunny's mouth doesn't move when he greets her. (00:08:45)
Revealing mistake: While at Ft. Leavenworth, the show indicates that Harm is picking up Father O'Rourke from Kansas City International Airport. Having spent many years there, the buildings, etc that were shown are not KCI. Also, L-1011's did not and do not routinely fly in or out of KCI, as one L-1011 was seen flying overhead.
Factual error: The attention to detail on the ship was excellent, except that the sailors' teeth looked too good considering that sailors in the 19th did not brush their teeth and often chew tobacco.
Adrift (1) - S6-E24
Character mistake: When asking Skates if she saw Rabb eject, she is referred to as Commander when her rank is Lieutenant. (00:40:10)
Adrift (1) - S6-E24
Continuity mistake: The USS Patrick Henry in "JAG" has always used the hull number "74" on the sailors' ballcaps, as well as the scenes of the ship. (CVN-74 in real-life is the USS John C. Stennis). However, in the scene just before the pilots' briefing, the stock footage of the carrier was of a different vessel, hull number 59. In real-life, "59" was the USS Forrestal (CVA-59), the ship that had one of the deadliest shipboard fire on July 29, 1967. The fire killed 132 crewmen, injured 62, with 2 missing & presumed dead. The fire raged for several hours & would have destroyed the carrier, if not for the actions of the heroic crewmen to save her.
Continuity mistake: When Commander Turner hands Harm the document regarding Harm's steering wheel, Harm takes it with his right hand. In the next shot, he's suddenly holding the document in his left hand. (00:20:40)
Head to Toe - S7-E15
Factual error: Lt.Col. Sarah Coffey wears the USAF uniform, but an Army insignia on her left collar (the MI "splatted bug"). An Air Force officer wears identical insignia on right and left collars (a dark oak leaf, in this case).
Revealing mistake: When Harm talks to the young sailor about the lighter and how high the flame really was...he says "dial that up as high as it'll go"...keep your eye on his collar, and you'll see the tag on his shirt says "DAVID"...
Continuity mistake: The hull number shown for the USS Seahawk shown in this episode was "74" (in real life, the USS John C. Stennis), however, JAG has always used that hull number to refer to the show's 'other carrier', the USS Patrick Henry.
Factual error: Lt. Singer is wearing the wrong epaulets (shoulder boards). She is wearing the epaulets with a star on it instead of the legal emblem.
Continuity mistake: When Harm is ejected from the jeep after the mine explosion, his hat is on his head after he lands, but in the next scene, it shows his hat situated on the ground between the jeep & him.
