Continuity mistake: After Klinger throws his ball, his arm stays extended outward. As the shot cuts, looking down the lane towards him, his arm is hanging straight down. Then, after the strike, he raises both arms up. A second later, his left arm is down by his side, his right doing a celebratory motion.
Continuity mistake: As Potter says "knowing mademoiselles in the war, P.M." (pre Mildred) his hands are by his drink. As he finishes his line, they're crossed on the table.
Continuity mistake: When Hawkeye gets into the chow line and Igor suggests the peas and carrots, Hawkeye asks about the beans. As the peas and carrots are being scooped to be served to Hawkeye, he grabs Igor's arm and peas and carrots are spilled into the beans. Peas are VERY visible in the beans. The next shot with the beans, the peas and carrots have been removed from the beans.
Continuity mistake: After Klinger's file cabinet gets bombed, BJ appears in the window. He's facing directly ahead, head slightly tilted to the right. When the camera goes to a close up, he's in quarter profile, left cheek forward. In the long shot, he's back to the original position.
Continuity mistake: After the files blow up, Klinger sees BJ looking at them. If you look carefully, you see that his head changes position between shots.
Continuity mistake: When BJ is letting Hawkeye in on the fact the he was the only real victim of the gag, he's putting a forkful of eggs in his mouth. After the camera cuts to Margaret and back, he doing it again. His mouth was empty both times.
Continuity mistake: When filming Hawkeye, BJ and Charles in the swamp before they go to Potter's tent, the camera has a clear, unobstructed view of the inside. When it pulls back you can see the end of the tent, but without the netting normally there.
Continuity mistake: When BJ comes out of the building and meets Paul, you can see a chain-link fence in the background that you never see any other time in the series.
Continuity mistake: As Hawkeye makes his offer, Frankenheimer is sitting with his hands clasped. He starts to unclasp his hands and put them on the chair arms to stand. When the scene shifts to him alone in frame, his hands are clasped again.

Continuity mistake: When Col. Potter runs out of his tent to say goodbye to Capt. Lal, he wears only one slipper. When the jeep drives away and Potter's feet once more are visible, both feet are in slippers. (00:22:05)

Continuity mistake: B.J. is holding a Korean child who is subbing in for his own daughter when Margaret hands B.J. a piece of cake. Just as it looks as if he is about to feed the cake to the girl, the scene cuts to a full facial shot of Hot Lips, then cuts back to B.J. The cake has disappeared. There wasn't enough time to eat it all, and neither the child nor B.J. is eating. B.J. has no icing on his fingers; it has just disappeared. (01:16:50)

Continuity mistake: Early in the episode a tank is driven into the MASH compound by a wounded soldier (demolishing the latrine in the process). The tank is an M24 Chaffee dating from the mid 1940s - it is squat and angular in shape. Later on in the episode after the tank has been hidden under a tent Hawkeye decides to drive the tank into the camp dump (demolishing the new latrine on the way). The tank has changed into an M4 Sherman - it is a lot higher and more rounded in shape.

Continuity mistake: While everyone's gathered for their last evening together, taking turns telling what their life will be like when they get home, there are three closeups of Kellye in which we see that her caduceus insignia pin is on her right lapel and her First Lieutenant bar is on her left lapel, though it should be the opposite way, and her closeups are not flipped. The pins are on the proper side in other shots of Kellye during the episode.

Continuity mistake: When Father Mulcahy releases the locked up POWs, in the following explosion Father Mulcahy is knocked to the ground and his eyeglasses are still on his face properly, but in the next shot when BJ rushes to his side the eyeglasses are on the ground behind Mulcahy's head, and BJ did not remove them.

Continuity mistake: When Hawkeye is returning to camp, he and his driver completely pass some Burma-Shave signs the other have set up to welcome him back. An ambulance bus is a few feet behind them and manages to then suddenly appear at least 30 feet behind them to smash all the signs.
Answer: It is actually Cencompac for Central Command of the Pacific. It is like the headquarters for all military activity in the Pacific Region (Japan, Korea, Okinawa, etc. The newer version of that is United States Pacific Command (USPACOM).
