The First Temptation of Daphne - S9-E3
Continuity mistake: Martin says that Eddie will find the cricket, and puts him down on the floor so he can begin to search. He places him right in front of the green chair. In the next shot, we see Eddie spinning around on the floor, but the chair isn't visible in the frame like it should be. Instead there's something that looks like a gray stool there.
You Scratch My Book... - S2-E15
Continuity mistake: Honey walks over to Frasier, a glass of wine in one hand. Then suddenly she uses both hands to rub his shoulders. Supposedly she gave him the glass because it is all of a sudden in his hand now, but we never see him take it from her.
Continuity mistake: In the opera, when Marty waves at the ladies, Fraiser tries to pull his hand down. He looks over at the ladies as he does this, but in the next shot he is turned towards Marty.
Continuity mistake: Just after Niles has run out of Cafe Nervosa, the tip he left on the table keeps vanishing and reappearing between shots.
Some Assembly Required - S10-E19
Continuity mistake: When Frasier and Roz are at Cafe Nervosa together, just as Daphne enters, Roz's coffee cup goes from being held in her hand by her chest to down on the table in an instant.
Continuity mistake: When Niles and Frasier are first talking to one another in Cafe Nervosa, Niles' coffee cup goes from held in his hand to sat on his saucer in an instant.
Roz, a Loan - S6-E9
Continuity mistake: The bag of beauty products changes, one with a logo and one without.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning scene, Niles and Frasier are arguing by the door. Right after Niles leaves and Frasier yells "Get out! ", the camera pans out and you can see the entire room, at which point Roz is holding her wine glass in her right hand. Immediately after, the camera cuts to Roz who says, "yeah, some nerve..., " and the glass is now on the table in front of her left hand. There wasn't time for her to set it down (especially across her body), and the camera stays focused on her continuously through both shots.
The Last Time I Saw Maris - S3-E8
Continuity mistake: Daphne is holding a fire poker when she is having a psychic message. Just after Niles says "Oh dear God", the poker is held straight up. In the next shot, the poker is partially lowered. (00:03:35)
Other mistake: In the scene where Frasier is in line for tickets for Roz he is talking to Lana on the phone and asks if he can move Kirby's tutoring up "tomorrow" to four right after school because he made plans with Claire later that night. You can see on the sign next to him that the tickets go on sale Saturday morning and Roz had previously said in the beginning of the episode that she wanted to start standing in line Friday so she would be first in line Saturday morning. So it is obvious that Frasier is in line Friday night which would mean tomorrow would be Saturday, which means Kirby being in high school would not have school the next day (Saturday) like Frasier said. Fool Me Once, Shame on You, Fool Me Twice... - S2-E14
Continuity mistake: Daphne visits the radio station where Frasier works about halfway through the episode. She holds the earphone piece up to her right ear, then it cuts to a different camera angle and the headphones are lying on the desk with no time between shots. It's actually quite glaring.
The Devil and Dr. Phil - S10-E21
Continuity mistake: When Bebe is talking to Frasier, she is eating a piece of celery. The piece changes size between shots, most noticeably at the very end of the conversation when it suddenly goes from large to tiny.
Continuity mistake: When Daphne steals Niles' Segway, Cora is laughing in the background and covering her mouth with both hands. The angle changes and now her hands are on the table.
A New Position for Roz - S10-E24
Continuity mistake: When Niles and Daphne are babysitting Alice, a pink feather from Daphne's boa keeps vanishing and reappearing on the side of her chair.
The Botched Language of Cranes - S2-E6
Plot hole: Several times throughout the show, it's bought up that there is a seven second delay on Frasier's show at KACL, which, among other things, would allow Roz to "dump" the last seven seconds of what's been said and prevent it from being broadcast. When Roz notices that Frasier is still on the air during his rant, it takes her about nine seconds to get back to her console, so she should have been able dump the last seven seconds of his rant, leaving only the first few words of Frasier's rant (likely no more than "Good Grief, have you...") going to air, which would be much less awkward compared to his entire rant. Answer: It equals the record of James Arness of "Gunsmoke" for the actor who's played the same part on TV NOT in a soap opera. If you include soaps there are two main contenders - William Roache, who's been playing Ken Barlow in "Coronation Street" in the UK since 1960. Don Hastings has been playing Robert Hughes in US soap "As the World Turns" since 1960 as well.
