Continuity mistake: When Niles goes to the sperm bank, in one shot his hands are up on the counter with his fingers laced and in the next shot they are lying flat on the counter.
Agents in America, Part III - S2-E22
Continuity mistake: When Frasier is watching, and complaining about Xena, his hand alternates between being on the arm of the sofa and on his leg between shots.
Continuity mistake: Frasier is sitting on the couch watching Wheel of Fortune and eating, with a plate on his stomach. As he talks to Niles he places the plate on the coffee table. Niles says "Are those profiteroles?" and Frasier gobbles them up. Then we see Frasier put the plate on the table again.
You Can't Tell a Crook by His Cover - S1-E15
Continuity mistake: When Frasier and Niles are in the cafe talking about the Topaz Room, the waiter goes from bending over the table to collect the money to upright a few feet from the table instantly.
A Midwinter Night's Dream - S1-E17
Continuity mistake: The time on Niles' musical clock changes time suddenly and frequently between shots, once from 9.00 to 10.55 to 11.25 almost instantly.
Continuity mistake: Niles runs to Daphne's Room with a full glass of sherry. He jumps into and out of the room and suddenly the glass is empty, even though he never drank from it, and it wasn't spilled. (00:20:40)
The Dog That Rocks the Cradle - S7-E5
Continuity mistake: When Bulldog gets back to the kitchen table after closing the door on Roz's date Ted, there is a large blue casserole dish sitting there - it wasn't there when he went to answer the door. Roz had been hiding the whole time, so she didn't put it there.
You Can't Tell a Crook by His Cover - S1-E15
Continuity mistake: When the doorbell rings Martin leans over to put the cards down, you see him do it twice.
Continuity mistake: After Niles knocks the shoebox on the floor, he goes to put the banana on the table, but pulls back with it still in his hand. When he runs over to inspect the fireplace, the banana is nowhere to be seen.
A Word to the Wiseguy - S3-E15
Audio problem: Around the time when Niles is talking about "wealthy white women," there is a shot when his mouth is moving but there is no sound coming out. It then suddenly changes to a shot when you can hear what he is saying. (00:02:15)
Audio problem: In the restaurant Frasier says "There's an ocean of fresh fish not 15 feet away," and you can even see the blue reflection of the water and it's movement as it laps against the shore. Why then, can't you hear waves crashing at all? This is especially strange as in every other scene in this restaurant you can year it, but not in this particular one.
Continuity mistake: Marty is telling the boys that he doesn't want to get involved in their squabble. Frasier has his hand up in the air holding his address book but in the next shot it is down by his side, with no time to change position naturally. (00:06:05)
Dark Side of the Moon - S7-E22
Continuity mistake: Roz is at Daphne's shower, saying "God, he sounds just like a prince," in reference to Simon - in her left hand is a drink and her right hand is positioned down, as though it is in her pocket. In the next shot she is still holding her drink in her left hand, but is giving Daphne a drink with her right hand - it just appears out of nowhere.
Continuity mistake: The pickle being eaten by Bulldog after he enters Frasier's apartment and sits down on his couch gets bigger after Bulldog takes a bite out of it.
Slow Tango in South Seattle - S2-E1
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the episode, when Clarice is heading out on her date, her arms go from in front of her clasping her bag, to by her side in an instant between shots.
Miracle on Third or Fourth Street - S1-E12
Continuity mistake: When Roz and Frasier are exchanging gifts, Roz takes her present out of its box and the box is still at least half covered in wrapping paper. In the next shot, no wrapping paper is visible around the box.
Continuity mistake: Right at the start, the tapes Roz is holding change hands at least twice. Although you can't often see both her hands, you sometimes see one and yet they still switch by the next shot.
Deliberate mistake: About halfway through the show, Roz and Daphne are in the kitchen talking. Daphne pours water into the teapot - but there is no steam coming from the kettle, nor any sound of a boiling/just boiled kettle. No self-respecting Brit would make tea with water that wasn't boiling.
And the Dish Ran Away with the Spoon (1) - S8-E1
Continuity mistake: Niles says on Daphne's wedding day that he told her he loved her on his 3 day anniversary, making Daphne's wedding his 4 day anniversary. At Nervosa, Mel says it's their 4 day anniversary, when at this point one more night has passed and it's now 5 days since they married.
Good Grief - S6-E1
Visible crew/equipment: The shot after Frasier says "I'm quite sure" a mic appears from above. (00:18:35)
Answer: Nanny G (Nanette Guzman - played by Laurie Metcaf) has been a children's entertainer for twenty years, and tells Frasier, "Do you know what it's like to play the same character for 20 years?!" The joke is that Kelsey Grammer has been playing Frasier Crane since 1984, when the character first appeared on "Cheers", so Kelsey in real life has been doing just that!
