Duke's, We Hardly Knew You - S2-E5
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene when Frasier sits on the desk to try and read the information on Roz's side of the glass, the blue book on the desk changes angle between shots.
Duke's, We Hardly Knew You - S2-E5
Continuity mistake: About two thirds of the way through the show, Marty and Frasier are talking in the living room. Marty is sitting in his chair with a glass of milk. One shot shows him with both hands on his milk, and then he puts his left hand on the arm of the chair. In the next shot his hands are around his glass of milk again.
The Botched Language of Cranes - S2-E6
Plot hole: Several times throughout the show, it's bought up that there is a seven second delay on Frasier's show at KACL, which, among other things, would allow Roz to "dump" the last seven seconds of what's been said and prevent it from being broadcast. When Roz notices that Frasier is still on the air during his rant, it takes her about nine seconds to get back to her console, so she should have been able dump the last seven seconds of his rant, leaving only the first few words of Frasier's rant (likely no more than "Good Grief, have you...") going to air, which would be much less awkward compared to his entire rant. The Botched Language of Cranes - S2-E6
Continuity mistake: About halfway through the show, Daphne, Roz, Niles, Frasier and Marty are all in the living room. Roz hands Frasier a piece of paper, which he takes and starts to unfold it - in the next shot, he is taking the paper again.
Continuity mistake: The waitress brings Frasier his coffee just as Niles begins to say "Anyway," and she is back behind the counter as he finishes the word. There just wouldn't be enough time in real life to do this. (00:03:55)
Revealing mistake: Towards the end of the episode, as Frasier is on the lounger by the windows, a power cord is on the ground going through the far left window (where glass should be), possibly going to the lamp.
Adventures in Paradise (1) - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: Bulldog is listening to Frasier talk to Madeline on the phone. Bulldog is holding the magazine under his arm, but in the next shot it is on top of the tape player and his hand is on top of it. There was no time for natural change.
Adventures in Paradise (1) - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: Frasier goes into his booth and puts down the magazine featuring Madeline with the page open. Bulldog comes in and looks at the page, and says how attractive she is. But it is definitely not the same page that Frasier had been looking at a couple of shots before.
Adventures in Paradise (1) - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: When Frasier comes into the living room, Marty's cigar box is open. The shot then shows Frasier talking to Eddie about his socks, and the cigar box is suddenly closed. At the end of the scene, the cigar box is open again.
Adventures in Paradise (1) - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: When Frasier is first looking at the magazine article featuring Madeline, we can see the page opposite the one he's looking at. The next shot shows a different page, even though he is supposedly looking at the same one, all the time exclaiming about how great she is.
Adventures in Paradise (2) - S2-E9
Audio problem: Madeline arrives at the apartment and says "Hello" to Marty, Niles and Daphne. However, her mouth is out of sync when she says it. (00:10:00)
Continuity mistake: When Frasier and Martin are leaving Artie's hospital room, Frasier has the door about one-third open. Just before they leave, though, as Frasier says "next time he'll stay longer", the door is open much wider. Nobody opened it wider during that time. (00:08:50)
Continuity mistake: Martin is drinking a glass of milk which is between his arm and a bowl of chips. Suddenly the milk is sitting well to the left, even though he didn't touch it. (00:14:35)
Continuity mistake: Marty is sitting at the dining room table and for a couple of shots he's eating potato chips with his right hand; the shot changes to him eating with the other hand, with no time for a natural shift. (00:14:50)
Continuity mistake: When Daphne and Martin are sitting at the dining table talking about Arty, Martin has a bowl of chips and a glass of milk which change position between shots.
Continuity mistake: During the scene where Martin is apologizing to Artie in the hospital room, the photo of Artie's wife on the bedside table changes position about 45 degrees while they talk.
Audio problem: Frasier is talking to Elliot on the phone and there is a shot of Roz. In the shot of Roz, Frasier says "You know, Elliot..." and his reflection is visible in the window. But his lips on the window reflection don't move until after he says "You know, Elliot..." (00:00:30)
Continuity mistake: As Frasier is leaving Roz's apartment, we can see her crutches behind her, leaning together and upright against the wall. In the next shot one has noticeably changed position but they go back to their original state a couple of shots later. (00:04:35)
Continuity mistake: Roz is at Frazier's while Daphne massages her foot. They are talking about Bulldog and we can see one crutch behind her. When she says "I did not", there are two crutches behind her. Later in the scene it goes back to one crutch. (00:07:50)
Continuity mistake: During the closing credits, while Bulldog is in his booth, his horn changes position on the console by rotating 180 degrees.
Answer: In the last episode, they explained that Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs is a metaphor for the mixed-up people to whom Frasier dispenses his radio psychiatric advice.
