Revealing mistake: In Graduation Day Part One, when Faith shoots Angel with the longbow, you can see the false point spring out as if it were on a hinge from inside his jacket. (00:22:47)
Revealing mistake: Throughout almost the entire sword fight between Buffy and Angel, from the far away shots, its clear that the actors are stunt doubles. It's very visible when there is a shot from the top. (00:34:05)
Visible crew/equipment: After Buffy has spoken with Clem and is walking down the road, you can see the reflection of a camera in the back of a green SUV.
Plot hole: In "I Robot, You Jane", how exactly does Willow scan Moloch out of his book when the scan is only about two thirds the width of it? (00:04:25)
Continuity mistake: When Buffy's friends come visit her at work, WIllow is playing with some straws in a styrofoam cup next to the register which disappears a few shots later.
Visible crew/equipment: Right after Kane and Buffy's fight in the woods, in the shot right after Kane leaves, you can see set-lights above the clearing where they fought. (00:39:10)
Continuity mistake: In 'Consequences' Buffy says to Faith 'Less that 24 hours ago you killed a man'. In 'Bad Girls', Faith kills Finch in the alley on the first night. One night later Buffy and Angel are attacking Belthazor, the night after that is the night when Buffy dreams about drowning, so the night when Buffy says this is actually about 72 hours after the murder. (00:11:25)
Plot hole: When Buffy enters the house to rescue her mother she uses a stake to stop the front door from closing. A vampire then grabs it and the door closes. Why did Buffy use a stake knowing that there was a vampire there when she was almost killed by a vampire with her own stake earlier in the episode because Giles had been injecting her with a muscle relaxant?
Other mistake: We're shown a variety of photographs and pictures of different members of the gang at one point. One of those, the one of Xander and Anya, is actually a shot from the episode "Something Blue". I doubt very much that during the events in that episode, someone conveniently decided to take a photograph.
I Was Made To Love You - S5-E15
Other mistake: According to Buffy's watch, the first scene with her, Dawn and Joyce starts at 4:23 PM and ends at 4:24 PM. But the scene lasts much longer than that.
Lies My Parents Told Me - S7-E17
Other mistake: Robin uses the song that Spike's mother sang to him to provoke him into attacking him. The song is played on his computer through Apple's media program "iTunes". He clicks his computer's mouse to start the song, but when we see the monitor the cursor isn't placed on the Play button. Robin doesn't jostle the mouse when he presses it, it remains completely still on the desk. And the only way to play a song through iTunes using a single mouse-click is by clicking on the Play button.
Visible crew/equipment: After Giles' heavy machinery joke, the shadow of a boom mic is visible on a gravestone behind Tara on the far left of the screen.
Character mistake: Willow refers to the Tunguska Blast of 1917. However, that event actually occurred in 1908.
Revealing mistake: Towards the end when Oz says to Veruca, "You don't wanna find out what I am", and partially turns into a Werewolf. You can tell that both of the actors were filmed separately for the CGI's sake as Oz stands out from the picture more than Veruca does. The same effect is obvious during "Doppelgangland" in season 3 where there are 2 Willows onscreen at once.
Some Assembly Required - S2-E2
Visible crew/equipment: As Buffy goes through the door with the "Keep Out" sign on it, the shadow of a camera can be seen on the left side of the door in the last few frames of the shot.
Character mistake: Time and time again, Buffy or another of the Scoobies have gone a few metres away from a vampire and talked about them, shouldn't they be able to hear them? Because aren't they supposed to have heightened senses?
Lover's Walk - S3-E8
Revealing mistake: Early on, Spike falls down drunk. He wakes up because his hand is on fire from the sunlight. When he runs away, a little bit of fire stays on the stones where his hand was when it started.
Continuity mistake: In the very last episode, Chosen, in the shot right before Spike's amulet sends out the blast through the roof, you can see an ubervamp just about to pin him against the wall and in the next shot he is standing in the middle of the area backing up toward the stairs and then he sends out the blast. There would never be enough time between the shots for Spike to break free and then go and stand in the middle of the floor.
Other mistake: In episode "Helpless" in season 3, after the council member bitten by the crazy vampire rises, his bite marks heal. But in season 7's "Lies My Parents Told Me," it shows Spike's mother already risen and her bite marks are still there.
Answer: She has superpowers, ergo fast movement. The reason she outruns him so easily in "Touched" is that she stops trying to actually fight him and just dodges instead.
