Continuity mistake: After Buffy finds Morgan's brain, Willow pulls up Morgan's school file on one of the library computers without even touching the keyboard. One moment the monitor is on the desktop, the next it's showing Morgan's file.
Revealing mistake: During the fight scene at the end when Buffy is fighting the demons you see her throw one of the demons off the platform. If you watch him fall you can see him land safely on a conveniently placed mat. (00:38:10)

Continuity mistake: Buffy's birthdate starts at 1979. In "I Robot, You Jane", when the demon pulls up Buffy's file in the school system, it shows her year of birth as 1980 and her year as sophomore. But when her file comes up on the student's computer screen, it's changed to 1979 and that she is a senior. It wasn't until towards the end of season 1 in "Nightmares" that her birth year is 1981 (on her tombstone before she comes out as a vampire). (00:08:30)
Continuity mistake: In the last episode of Season 5 we see Spike thrown off the tower by Doc. Spike somehow manages to change from black trousers and boots into blue jeans and white shoes mid-air. He's back in black by the time he hits the ground. (00:35:45)

Life Serial - S6-E5
Revealing mistake: In Jonathan, Warren and Andrew's van, whenever they're watching something on the monitors fed from their security cameras, you can see that the footage is actually pre-recorded due to the fact that the footage is being played through QuickTime media player.
Continuity mistake: When we see Miss French make herself a bug sandwich, there are two, maybe three bugs left on her plate as she folds the bread. But when she eats the sandwich her plate is empty.
Continuity mistake: When Buffy looks into the childrens' ward the sign on the door saying 'Basement Access' disappears and reappears between shots. (00:12:00 - 00:36:15)
Continuity mistake: The time on the clock, when Buffy spots Jonathan, changes dramatically between shots.
Visible crew/equipment: The demons known as "The Gentlemen" always float about two inches off the ground. In one scene, two of them are moving through a park, and you can see the light blue cart they are standing on. (00:32:15)
Nightmares - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: In the season 1 episode "Nightmares", Buffy is talking to Willow about her mom's divorce and she shuts her locker. A few seconds later she shuts her locker again. (00:02:55)
School Hard - S2-E3
Continuity mistake: While studying at the Bronze, Buffy and Willow leave their books on the table to go and dance. Spike calls them outside to fight a vampire, and when Xander runs back inside to grab a stake the books have all been put back into Buffy's bag. (00:14:00 - 00:15:45)
Continuity mistake: When Buffy finds Dr. Gregory's glasses on the lab floor she places them on the table, from the long shot she places them at the left end of the table near a plastic tub with a white lid, with the glasses open. Then it cuts to a close up where they are in front of a book on the right side of the table and are closed. Then cut back to the long shot and they are in the original place. (00:10:25)
Chosen answer: "So goes the nation" seems to have been used on many occasions, with various different US states in the "As .... goes" section. Most commonly it seems to be California that's considered to lead the way, but probably most other states have appeared in the lead role at some point or another. Other things have also been used - no less a person that Pope John Paul II said "As the family goes, so goes the nation...". The origin of the quote format is unclear - in US politics it goes back into the 19th century, when it was Maine that held the title spot, but, while no definitive origin is known, it seems highly likely that it goes back considerably further than that.
