Continuity mistake: When Tsubasa hits his header, he is far from the box; Genzo punches away with 4 of his teammates in front of him, but then in the aerial shot there are 13 (!) teammates on the field, about 6 close by, plus... Tsubasa himself. (00:07:55)
Continuity mistake: When the two aces compete for Roberto's centering kick, Tsubasa is on the outside, in front of Genzo, going parallel to him yet as they land he's on the opposite side. (00:09:00)
Continuity mistake: An indignant Genzo pushes Tsubasa away from him as he tries to aid him. Tsubasa lands with his back into the goal net, but Genzo pushed him away from the goal. (00:09:30)
Continuity mistake: In the flashback, Tsubasa's father all of a sudden between cuts has his hand on top of the head before realizing that the kid is missing. (00:10:15)
Continuity mistake: Once Genzo is beaten, the ball is inside the goal towards the right. He walks away, nobody having touched anything, and the ball is towards the left. (00:11:00)
Other mistake: Needless to say, having a football on your belly can't cushion the impact with a truck. Even forgiving this obviously cartoonish impossibility, still the way Tsubasa lands looks all kinds of wrong, with the forward momentum instantly halted as the ball touches the ground again. (00:14:25)
Other mistake: When Miss Ozora tells Roberto that he should have shown her The Letter from the beginning, Tsubasa is drawn looking in the wrong direction. (00:17:25)
Other mistake: When Sanae tells to the team "Ishizaki is right!" and gives them a pep talk, she's practically a hobbit next to the others, and a couple players are on odd mounds as if it were a baseball field. On a soccer pitch you just can't have that sort of uneven ground. (00:19:00)
Continuity mistake: When Ryo tells Roberto that a drunkard like him is unfit to be the coach, next to him there's someone with an orange jersey, but there's nobody wearing that color in the wider shots. (00:21:10)
Continuity mistake: Throughout the episode, the ranks of the team Tsubasa battles against keep changing and going back and forth between 10 to about 13 people.
Factual error: Genzo challenges Tsubasa to a rematch, this time in a regular "90 minutes match." They are elementary school students, their matches last only about 40 minutes.
Kick-Off for the Future - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: When Tsubasa goes past the gates of the Nankatsu Elementary School, there are different people in each shot. (00:08:20)
Kick-Off for the Future - S1-E3
Audio problem: When Sanae tells everyone in the class to shut up, her mouth is closed before her sentence is over. (00:10:15)
Kick-Off for the Future - S1-E3
Continuity mistake: The girls in front and behind Manabu Okawa wear clothes different in colors literally in every shot. (00:10:30)
Kick-Off for the Future - S1-E3
Other mistake: Spurred by his new deskmate, Tsubasa juggles the ball and sends it with a header right onto the empty seat. Pretty sure it's forbidden in any school to just come to class with a football, but besides that; look at how the football is in view. How tall would the chair have to be for that to happen? Whoever sits on it has no room to put their legs under the desk for sure. (00:10:35)
Kick-Off for the Future - S1-E3
Other mistake: When Manabu is approached by the bully, his glasses in close-up lack the bridge. (00:13:40)
Kick-Off for the Future - S1-E3
Other mistake: The kid who wants the soccer team to stop training is told off by Sanae, who points at the good efforts on the pitch. The animation of the team in training has noticeable errors, with a player that suddenly appears coming out of nowhere from behind the rightmost one, who is standing immobile in front of the goal and after a second disappears abruptly. (00:14:05)
Kick-Off for the Future - S1-E3
Other mistake: Urabe mentions that Nankatsu lost to Shutetsu 30 to 0 (which seems rather uncanny for a 40 minutes match), but the score mentioned in the first episode was 10 to 0. The more extravagant result ends up being the canon one.
The Football Is My Best Friend - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: Roberto instructs the players to take their football everywhere. Ryo is the first to do so, but the soccer balls are in different positions from the beginning of the scene when he started the speech, even if Roberto hasn't moved. (00:02:20 - 00:03:20)
