Trivia: The security guard Magnum has a humorous run-in with is called "Walrus", according to his nametag. A very similar character was present in "The Ugliest Dog in Hawaii" as pier guard, but that guard's name was a mister "Bear."

Kiseki no fukkatsu! Yuyo no cosmo - S1-E5
Trivia: When Seiya opens his eyes hearing Miho calling his name, behind her in the audience a particularly bored animator decided to put in some silly characters, including the Tin Man, the Lion and a girl with the look of Dorothy from the wizard of Oz. (00:19:20)

Kiseki no fukkatsu! Yuyo no cosmo - S1-E5
Trivia: When Seiya falls down during the victory celebration and the three kids scream (the shot that comes before the one where Miho drops the picture) you can see briefly in the audience between the kids an easter egg appearance of Magical Princess Minky Momo, a character from a different anime. Magnum, P.I. (1980)
Trivia: The episode is dedicated to the memory of camera technician Robert Van Der Kar who died in the movie. He died in the crash of the N58243 helicopter shown in this episode. Footage of that helicopter will be seen after this episode for many other episodes and even in later seasons, generally for panoramic shots. It's instantly recognizable because of the skids with flotation gear.

The Dark and Bloody Ground - S1-E3
Trivia: The bio on the back of the book (unsure when it was supposed to be printed, let's assume that copy is from that same year) says that the author was born 58 years ago. The man we see dead at the beginning of the episode looks several years younger. The picture used at the back of the book is from actor Guy Williams, who was almost 50 at the time.

Trivia: In the close-up of the diary of Julie Matlock, you can read in the column to the right of the page with the mysterious number 19871 a name; Agnes Dahan. It's the name of the production buyer of the episode, and long time staff member of the show in production and art department. (00:20:20)

Death in Paradise (2011)
Trivia: A few lines of dialogue are cut from stream releases; in the interview with Samuel Palmer after they find out about the past, the detectives ask; "And you took the rap for him?" Samuel says "When the police asked me if anyone else was involved, I said no.", to which Florence replies "You served five years. That's quite a favour.", with Samuel saying "He was my friend. He would've done the same thing for me." This part contained a mistake, since it was established earlier that he served 4 years, not five (rap sheet that Florence read to Humphrey and was on camera in close-up), that might be the reason.

Death in Paradise (2011)
Trivia: A bit of the episode has been cut for the streaming releases; at the end of the scene with Humphrey taking Martha's luggage, he would make a date with her for the next day, to cook dinner for her at 8. This has been eliminated probably because it created timing issues with 8 PM being too well lit (in contrast with the supposed timing of the murder) and the ending takes place at Catherine's for a cute drinking scene anyway. Trivia: Besides a passing reference to 'the wall' to Mexico, there's a more subtle reference to a certain US President in the brand of the generator activated 20 minutes in and at the end of the movie; it's "ковфефе", which is a possible transliteration in Cyrillic of the infamous Trumpian typo "covfefe." The news at the very top right of the front page, by the title "Town treasurer celebrates his re-election after disputed elections" features a mugshot of the director of the movie, Paul Feig.
