Character mistake: Facing quick enemies (such as the Blamarg), Jill's custom quote is; "You use speed as your weapon? Well, DO SO I."

Character mistake: During the last class trial (06), Kyoko recapping the vitals of the victim gets them wrong, saying she was 5'6" instead of the correct 5'7" as written everywhere else. Nobody corrects her (and the exact vitals are an important part of the trial, and the mistake happens exactly when they come into play). A wrong number slipped in the script.

Character mistake: Cross knows (for some reason) by memory the last words of the Lindbergh kid kidnapper (and killer) and that Soneji/Mercusio referenced in a book he finds in amazingly oblique ways. He calls him "Richard Bruno Hauptmann", while his name was actually Bruno Richard Hauptmann. (00:42:30)

Character mistake: At the hospital, the inspector manages to get from the nurse the file of the patient with the liver condition. Forgetting the fact that the Turin, Italy hospital is using English for its documents (it's simply a cinematic convention), the problem is that the letterhead of this document says "Department of Chronic Deseases", misspelling the word.

Character mistake: Daphne's mother is the one who pressed her husband to tell her the truth, but she is cheering when he says about the basketball anecdote that it was 'real', when later he corrects himself saying "real-ly me, disguised as a mascot." (00:17:25)

Character mistake: During her Formation Attack, Ryoko says among other things "The two of us can't lose." But the Formation Attack is done with her, Hikaru and Izumi. It's the three of them.

Character mistake: In a return attack line she uses fighting for instance dragon monsters, Mao says "I'm not one to get scared off my appearances." She means BY appearances (because she is facing big scary monsters).

Character mistake: The rude doctor says that Edward Pengelley "wouldn't poison his grandmother's dog", to which Poirot irately blurts out "but it is not the dog of Madame Pengelley's grandmother that has been poisoned." He should have said "of Monsieur Pengelley." (00:12:50)

Character mistake: Schwarzenegger welcomes Portos saying "Your name. The fourth Musketeer. It's a good name." Port (h) os was one of the original three musketeers in the eponymous novel. To be "the fourth", his name should have been D'Artagnan. (00:31:55)

Character mistake: Bernie Cole "King of the clubs" greets Miss Lemon and tells her she'll find Elsa "Straight down the corridor, second on the left." So she opens the second door...on the right. And it's the correct one. (00:30:50)

Character mistake: One of the cutscenes of the game happens between the 5th and 6th round, Hwa Jai and Raiden. Geese, the main villain, botches the name of his henchman saying "Riden." (Fixed in the SNES and Genesis version, still in the various versions on Playstation).

Character mistake: Gail reads right through Katie's poor excuse about crotcheting, and says she won't go to the ball "after what you pulled today with Guy." She did not do it (well she didn't do anything, but 'supposedly did') today, but yesterday. (00:31:00)

Character mistake: In the hotel lobby, Poirot, indignant of Hastings' attitude towards the murder case, says "After three attempts had been made at the life of M. Nick, Poirot gave his word he would protect her." But he did that after four attempts; Nick already avoided 3 "mysterious accidents" (painting, car, boulder) and Poirot witnessed the 4th, the bullet that pulled him into the whole case to begin with. Character mistake: Nikolai is driving Anna home after the bike went kaputt in the rain, outside the restaurant. Anna towards the end tells him to "take the next right." Both Naomi Watts and Viggo Mortensen are looking left, and keep their eyes there. (00:28:25)

Character mistake: The magician's assistant wears a costume that leaves her legs exposed, and the costume itself vanishes. The trick can't go as Poirot describes to Hastings and Japp (and it is made with a TV editing trick). (00:07:05)

Character mistake: The notice of hold for the check says it's from the Southern Grand Caymen Bank. I wouldn't trust a bank that can't spell the name of the country it is in (Cayman Islands). (00:57:50)

Character mistake: The protagonist at the beginning of the movie is cleaning his own apartment when Kirkeby returns for the missing galoshes of his lady companion. Kirkeby searches a chair, looking also down on the floor to the side of it, turns around and looks up the other one and then back towards the starting point. He picks the galoshes a few seconds later finding them in a spot where he supposedly has looked already almost all the time (the actor just pretended to look). (00:06:40)

Character mistake: At the very end of the movie, Jack Lemmon begins dealing cards for the gin rummy, but he deals about 14 cards before the fade to black, in a 10 cards game. (01:59:45)
