Corrected entry: The movie is taking place during the day, during the week what with all the normal business goings-on. The two security guards are watching an NHL game, which would never be scheduled during the weekday.

Veronica Mars (2004)
Corrected entry: Toward the end of the episode it shows Duncan on a beach in Australia with his daughter and the sun setting over the water in the background. The only problem is the caption said they were in Mollymook, which is on the east coast of Australia and the sun sets in the west.
Correction: There is no timeframe given for the event. It could very well have been dawn.

Veronica Mars (2004)
Corrected entry: In the last episode of season 2, Veronica is walking into a Woody's restaurant. The signs on the inside say Woodys, but the sign on the door is a star. The star is known for Carl's Jr. on the west coast, or the symbol for Hardy's on the east coast.
Correction: This is no mistake. The wording under the star is somewhat hard to read, but definitely says neither of those names.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Corrected entry: In Quidditch Through the Ages, it says that the first ever World Cup was in 1473, with a match being held every 4 years. Yet the World Cup in 1994 is number 422. There can't be 422 world cups in 521 years with a four-year gap in between. Calculated correctly, the World Cup that the Weasleys, Hermione, and Harry attend is actually the 131st, and it should have been held in 1993.
Correction: The only thing mentioned about the 1473 World Cup was that every Quidditch rule was broken during it. There's no mention of it being the first, and it is not given a number.

Sucker Punch (2011)
Corrected entry: In the scene where the girls are fighting in the enemy trenches, Rocket throws a gun into a small slow-motion flip and catches it. Just before the camera shot cuts to behind her the handle of the gun is facing towards herself. The camera shot then cuts to behind her and the gun handle is now facing away from her.
Correction: No, the moment before the shot cuts, she catches the barrel with the handle facing away from her, and the next shot complies with this.

Sucker Punch (2011)
Corrected entry: When the main characters are into the second fantasy (the one about the war with the Germans), they get to the bunker to get the map and the doors of the bunker closes and Babydoll gets stuck with the enemies inside. Then, there is a shot just when she's about to kill the soldiers that are aiming at her with their guns, and you can see in the background that the gates are open and not closed.
Correction: That's not the main bunker gate. It's the side door from which the courier escapes.

The Big Bang Theory (2007)
Corrected entry: In the episodes "The Dumplings Paradox" and "The Pirate Solution" Penny mentions that she has a brother. But in the episode "The Maternal Capacitance", Penny talks to Leonard's mother about how her father had always wanted a boy.
Correction: She has a younger brother. Her father treated her like a boy because the male had not been born yet. And apparently, he kept treating her like a boy.

The Wonder Years (1988)
Corrected entry: (Unsure of the exact episode): Kevin comes home from school to watch the liftoff of Apollo 13. Apollo 13 lifted off on a Saturday, April 11, 1970.
Correction: School is not mentioned at all during the episode. He is not shown to watch the liftoff, he only sees on the news that there is some sort of trouble with the shuttle.

2012 (2009)
Corrected entry: Near the end, when the gate to Ark 4 is stuck open and water is coming in, the compartments begin sealing themselves to stop the flooding. Tamara, who was in the compartment between the daughter/dog duo and the rest of the family, wouldn't have drowned due to rising water.
Correction: She is never shown to die or survive the event, and is not mentioned to be either dead or alive during the rest of the film.

Daredevil (2003)
Corrected entry: I think that OSHA would really love to find the building with the window washer baskets. All of the baskets seem to fall apart when Double D lands on them. They'd make a fortune in fines.
Correction: Not every company keeps their equipment in proper, safe conditions. It's hardly a movie mistake if a company is too lazy to make inspections on their units.
Corrected entry: On the Isla de Muerte, when Norrington shoots one of the cursed pirates in the head, in the background, a soldier is sword fighting nobody, where a cursed pirate was supposed to have been digtitally edited in. (01:58:55)
Correction: It's far in the background and difficult to see. His enemy was slightly obscured by all of the other things in front, like the pirate fighting in the foreground. He is fighting someone if you look close enough.

How I Met Your Mother (2005)
Sweet Taste of Liberty - S1-E3
Corrected entry: After learning that the guy who he thought was hitting on Lily is gay, Marshall says "I've never been in a fight". However, in Season 4, "The Fight", he states that he has been in plenty of fights with his brothers.
Correction: People have different Definitions of what actually constitutes a "fight." He could consider those times with his brothers just "messing around." And the one punch to Doug also wouldn't be considered a fight.

Smallville (2001)
Corrected entry: Lana opens Lex's briefcase with two shots from a semi-automatic pistol at point-blank range, yet the glass table underneath the briefcase is completely undamaged.
Correction: How is this a mistake? The bullets hit their mark and flew off somewhere else. Since we don't see them after they're fired, there's no reason to assume that they hit the table.

Smallville (2001)
Corrected entry: Clark and Alicia are in the basement of the school, as part of the plan to trick Alicia, and, as they go to leave, Alicia picks up her bag with Clark right next to her. A few minutes later we find out that Alicia has a kryptonite rock in her bag. She takes it out of her bag to get away from Clark. Clark felt no effects from the rock before that even though he was in such close proximity, and surely a bag would not be enough to protect his from feeling the effects.
Correction: Being obsessed with him, she would also likely know that lead blocks the effects of the kryptonite. She could have kept it in a lead casing and would only have used it just in case. Otherwise she would have been hurting him for no reason.

Smallville (2001)
Corrected entry: Chrissy is the leader of Spirit Week and is trying to organise it. We see her kiss her boyfriend Troy, and suck the life out of him a few days before Spirit Week. However, Chloe pulls up the file on Troy, and it says his date of death is June 20, 2002. This is highly unlikely, as Spirit Week is put on in the days leading up to Homecoming, and Homecoming is usually in late September or October.
Correction: Schools don't all follow the same schedules. While schools in nearby areas would have similar schedules, it's not unreasonable to think that one school's Homecoming is months away from another school's Homecoming that's on the other side of the country.

The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006)
Corrected entry: It is revealed in this movie that there is an "Escape Clause". However, if you look back on the very first Santa Clause movie it was established that being Santa Claus is a lifetime commitment or in the clause's terms "unable to do so, by either accident or design". Hence, the instruction that his coat must be worn by someone else in case something happens to him so that someone else will always carry on Santa's work. Scott already tried in the first movie to get out of the responsibility but the clause doesn't permit him to do so.
Correction: That's the whole point of the movie. Of course it doesn't seem like there's a way out, but the Escape Clause is exactly that, an override to the original clause that makes it null.

The Santa Clause (1994)
Corrected entry: When Scott Calvin is looking in the window at Charlie after he is not permitted to see him, you see his Scott Calvin's face, and it is snowing. The shot cuts to Charlie-in-the-window, and it's not snowing, then back to Scott Calvin, and it's snowing again.
Correction: It's snowing in every shot. It's difficult (almost impossible) to see the snowflakes when the camera is zoomed in on something. You can see the effect the first time we see through the window; you can still see the snowflakes, but just barely. After another zoom in, they essentially become invisible.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
Corrected entry: This is a minor glitch, but if you select Tom Morello, Slash, or Lou The Devil during their battle their will be 2 of the same people.
Correction: That's not a glitch. It's just like two people in a fighting game picking the same character.

Eagle Eye (2008)
Corrected entry: When Agent Perez's helicopter takes off from "Chicago" after the recovery of the Cayenne, her helicopter has a California flag on its tail.
Correction: This simply means that the helicopter is originally stationed in California. No mistake here.
