Revealing mistake: When James Edwards (later, J) catches the alien in the beginning and has him next to a wall, the alien pulls out a "reverberating carbonizer with mutate capacity" to shoot J. A quick tussle, and the alien drops the gun. When the camera goes to a close up on the gun, watch carefully. You see it quickly fade out of view after it comes to rest, and replaced with a few burning sparkle effects to simulate disintegration.

Revealing mistake: During the dinner, Dennis is addressing his sister. As she comes over by him, look at his left sleeve. It appears to be matted in, as it has a definite line at the edge of the fabric, where all other edges are softer. Then as Eldona sits the plate down, you can see a flutter between the images of Dennis' arm and the plate. Then, as Eldona turns around, you can see her dress through the gap between Dennis' arm and the plate. (00:36:30)

Revealing mistake: When the truck with Hogan and company pulls up to the Luftwaffe HQ, the camera pans to the right to look at Klink getting out of the side car. When the camera cuts back to Hogan and company, they shake as if the truck just stopped, but it can be seen that the truck was stationary.

Revealing mistake: When the first of the blue bikes hits the wall and makes the hole, there is a rubber tyre bouncing away from the explosion. Any time that you see the back wheel of the cycles, there is no rubber tire. This is supposed to be the digital world. Even the tanks, with all the accompanying sounds does not have rubber on the tracks, as there are no tracks.
