Revealing mistake: After leaving space dock, the Enterprise is shown flying by the camera. As it does, there is a shaft of blue light directly underneath the ship. This can only be a poorly disguised pole under the model. (Corrected in the Director's Edition.)

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982)
Revealing mistake: When the Enterprise is leaving space dock, look at the right (starboard) side of the ship. You can see the shape of the mounting arm the model was mounted on, even though it was blacked out to look like space, and it also blocked out the bottom of the dock. The footage was reused from Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

Stalag 17 (1953)
Revealing mistake: When Manfriedi and Johnson are in the tunnel at the beginning, the second one has a lighter going to light the way. Trouble is, there is no way that the little flame could light the area as it did. Also, the lighter couldn't have provided light to cast its own shadow inside an area that perfectly round, thereby revealing that it was lit with a light close to the camera.

Goldfinger (1964)
Revealing mistake: When they're in the barn, Bond and Pussy take turns tossing each other in the hay. On her second attempt to throw Bond, he reverses it and throws Pussy. After the camera looks to where she will land, you can see the distinct outline where she had been thrown before.

Goldfinger (1964)
Revealing mistake: When Oddjob throws his hat at the statue and the camera cuts a close up of it, as the hat goes by the head, you can see the seam (in a freeze frame) where the head is propped up by the filler used to disguise the break. Also, the brim of the hat where the blade is, passes about two inches above the break. Therefore, were it possible, the brim doesn't cut the statue.

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989)
Revealing mistake: On Sha-Ka-Ri, after Kirk says "I seek proof", and the camera goes to "God", then back, you can plainly tell it's a stunt double, and see the wire connected to the harness he's wearing to pull him backwards after getting zapped.

A View to a Kill (1985)
Revealing mistake: When Bond is being chased down the mountain by the chopper, at one point the camera does a close up. As it does, Bond appears to have a dark line around him, and the background is blurry. This is because he's on a sound stage, and the rest is projected behind him. (00:03:00)

Everybody Loves a Snowman - S3-E14
Revealing mistake: When Hochstetter goes to open the snowman, you can see the plug is a poorly disguised piece of wood, as well as the piece of metal around the opening in the snowman.

That's No Lady, That's My Spy - S6-E17
Revealing mistake: When the men are in ranks for roll call, it's snowing heavily. Given the pitch of the barracks' roofs, there shouldn't be any snow sticking. Therefore, if looked at closely, it can be seen that the "snow" on the roofs is painted in place.

Hogan's Heroes (1965)
Revealing mistake: As the scene opens, the camera starts on a shot of the guard tower's roof. As it pans left and down into the yard, over the hill on the left side of the shot you can see a modern crane structure and the corner of a building in the distance.

Funny Thing Happened on the Way to London - S3-E5
Revealing mistake: When the staff car enters the camp, you see a set of tire tracks leading up to, and stopping at, Klink's position. When the car comes in, it precisely follows the tracks, suggesting previous takes.

The Return of Major Bonacelli - S4-E25
Revealing mistake: When Hogan, Carter and Le Beau are talking to Schultz, you can see it is an overcast day. After Hochstetter comes in and the camera cuts to them talking about Bonacelli, it goes back to Hogan. You can now see that they are on a sound stage. The reasons are that the guard isn't moving in The Tower, the boys are well lit, and as Hogan and Le Beau go into the barracks, you can see differences in the painting of the sky on the back drop.

Popeye (1980)
Revealing mistake: After Bluto knocks Popeye out and he falls into the water, Bluto goes to jump in after him. Watch the water. Popeye just landed, but the water is really calm. And when Bluto hits the water, it's right on top of a face-down floating Popeye. As Bluto hits, Popeye's body bends almost in half backwards, revealing that it's a foam rubber mannequin.

Hogan's Heroes (1965)
Revealing mistake: During the main part of the plot, the guys are putting dynamite on each truck in the convoy as they fuel up at Stalag 13. It is supposed to be dark, (hence the reason the boys wear black) but there are shadows as if it were day. It's impossible for the driver in the following truck and the guard in The Tower to miss seeing the boys as they go back and forth to plant charges.

Hogan's Heroes (1965)
Revealing mistake: While talking about Von Baler's daughter, Hogan is facing the building talking with Carter and Newkirk. Behind him is an open area of the camp. If you look, you can see that there is no guard in The Tower, no shadow of The Tower of the guard hut (the sun is behind them and Hogan), and the snow is piled up about three feet behind Hogan, suggesting that the background is a wall mural in the studio.

Clearance Sale at the Black Market - S4-E1
Revealing mistake: The Major goes to shoot out the light that the boys have turned on so Kinch can get the pictures. The first shot is angled too low to hit the bulb, but there is no impact on the front of the door's crosspiece; the smoke and dust comes from behind it. The second shot gets the bulb, but there is no muzzle flash, just sound. Also, there is no impact mark on the brick wall behind the bulb.

Star Trek (1966)
Revealing mistake: When the "pleasant" Kirk and Spock go down to the engineering level to get the "animal" Kirk, they split up and "pleasant" Kirk meets the "animal" face to face. As he steps out from behind a screen type wall, you can see that the "animal" Kirk is really Shatner's stunt double helping to fill the double role. This can also be told by the size difference when the two are close together and the shot is from behind the double.
