Corrected entry: In Snape's memory when Voldemort kills Lily Potter Voldemort is shown in his resurrected body but Voldemort had his own body at that time. Snape knew him and his memory should have shown Voldemort as he looked before.

The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Corrected entry: The CIA agent (let's call him... Carcetti) tells the 3 prisoners that the flight plan he filed with the agency lists "only one of you", implying that he is going to kill the 2 prisoners who wouldn't talk. Carcetti then fake-shoots one of the prisoners to put some pressure on the others and - this is crucial - pulls him back into the plane (Bane realizes that). This now indicates that he lied about the number of prisoners he listed in the flight plan. The flight plan most likely contains all three prisoners. The CIA expects all three prisoners. Now here is the mistake: Bane convinces only ONE of his mates to stay on the plane to throw off an investigation, but as we now know, the CIA should have expected more and any irregularities should have set off some alarms. But later in the movie when the plane crash comes up, no irregularities are mentioned. The plane crash is regarded as an accident and the CIA took the bait that Dr. Pavel was killed in that accident. An alternative explanation that Carcetti may have listed no additional prisoners in the flight plan (and therefore would have lied to the CIA) doesn't add up either, because then the CIA would've wondered about that one additional crash victim that wasn't listed in the flight plan and might've investigated further (as they should have anyway, what with the "wings and aft section crashed in totally different places than the plane itself" and all that, but that's a different plot hole). (00:02:15 - 00:06:00)
Correction: It seems odd that the only two conclusions drawn here are that 'Carcetti' either had three additional people listed on his flight plan or none at all. Why can't he have been speaking truth when he said the flight plan lists "only one of you"? However, he's obviously not going to kill two people just because his flight plan doesn't include them; that would make HIM the psychopath and he'd be arrested by his fellows on the spot. Solving this dilemma would be a simple matter of radioing ahead, but he didn't do so to maintain the charade, and Bane began his attack before he could place the call. Bane told his man to stay so the crash investigation would not turn up any red flags at all.

The Punisher (2004)
Corrected entry: When Frank blows up all the cars to kill Howard Saint, they form the Punisher skull. If those cars are not parked in any particular pattern (they aren't since its just a parking lot), how would Frank know exactly which cars to blow up?

Back to the Future (1985)
Corrected entry: This one is tricky but important in view of Doc's concern about doing anything that will alter the future. The lightning rod on the clock tower would have been connected to ground with a thick cable. Doc would have had to disconnect this cable to allow the current from the lightning to flow into his cable instead and hence to the time machine. We now know that a lightning strike is a result of a complex interaction of electric potentials between charges in a cloud and charges in the ground below. By disconnecting this grounding cable this interaction would have been disrupted, causing the lightning to strike at a different time or strike a different object on the ground.
Correction: If you touch a lightning rod while lightning strikes it, you will still get electrocuted. So, just like the energy would travel into your body, it traveled through Doc's cable. No need to disconnect the ground. If grounding a power source kept it from charging any thing else, no electrical appliance would ever function.

Corrected entry: When Ambrose is impersonating Ethan on the plane ride, he not only speaks in Ethan's voice with the voice changer but also Ethan's American accent. But when he removes the voice changer his accent goes back to Scots. Wouldn't he still have his Scots accent even with Ethan's voice? (00:05:05)

Meanwhile Fat Amy is driving and can't see what is going on and she is just singing with them, but when the girls stop singing to get Beca to join in, Amy somehow stops too, despite having no way of knowing the others were about to stop.

Pitch Perfect (2012)
Corrected entry: In the Riff Off, the head of the Riff Off said that 'it' was the word to match and that the Bellas lost because they sang 'I like the way you work it'. However just the song before the Treblemakers sang 'It feels like the first time.' They should have been eliminated.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)
Corrected entry: The movie uses the typical "vampires hate silver" mythos. When Adam opens Jack Bart's coffin, he is clutching Lincoln's silver pocket watch. Either he stole it from Lincoln before his death or Lincoln put it there, but either way, it should have been burning him up since he is a vampire. Also, the watch was given to Lincoln by Henry, another vampire, though Henry possibly could have been wearing gloves to negate the silver.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)
Corrected entry: Abraham's axe has a gun built into the handle. During the train scene, the main vampire breaks his axe over his knee. This is amazing, due to the fact that the gun barrel inside the axe handle wouldn't have snapped.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)
Corrected entry: In the train scene, Henry is beat up significantly by Adam. This directly contradicts an earlier scene where Henry could not touch or kill Adam due to the rules regarding vampires; Adam is still able to maim Henry and even bite him.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)
Corrected entry: In a flashback, Henry reveals to the audience that vampires cannot kill one another as he attempts to stab Adam multiple times. Adam is seemingly surrounded by an invisible force field. Towards the end of the movie, however, Adam and Henry beat the living daylights out of each other and cause visible damage. Did some magical event take place on the train that allowed vampires to harm each other? We may never know.

The Avengers (2012)
Corrected entry: Throughout the film each hero had been addressed by their respective codename at least once, with the exception of Natasha Romanov. She is either called Agent Romanov, Natasha or 'Nat'; never 'Black Widow'.
Correction: The Russian calls her "Black Widow" in the introductory scene, just a few minutes into the movie.
Corrected entry: Amelia saying that Larry 'couldn't take his cheaters of her chassis' - using the word cheaters to mean his eyes - is incorrect. The slang term 'cheaters' was a reference to glasses/ spectacles, because using them to help enhance vision was 'cheating'.

Babe: Pig in the City (1998)
Corrected entry: The inflatable costume beneath the clown costume has no purpose in Fugly Floom's act yet when the 'Do Not Pull' tag is pulled it inflates. It is unknown if Fugly would have used it later in the act if it was not ruined by Babe, despite the fact that the trousers were wrecked.

Inception (2010)
Corrected entry: In the staircase paradox scene, when Ariadna and Arthur were at the end of the staircase, it seems that the staircase is moving upwards but in real the staircase is static its just the camerawork. You can also see that the railings of the upper part of staircase is not matching with the railings of the lower part. (00:40:10)
Correction: This scene shows Arthur explaining to Ariadne how the trick is created within a dream; it's all done within the context of the film's world. It's not accidentally revealing how the shot was created for the movie because even for the characters in the film the staircase was meant to be an optical illusion.

Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)
Corrected entry: Snow White is a child and is in an apple tree with her cousin. Her cousin pulls a ripe apple from the tree, which is in full blossom, and takes a bite. An apple tree in full blossom is not at the point yet where it would be bearing fruit.
Correction: It's part of Snow's magic. Plants bloom and blossom as she merely passes them by; people she spends time near find their ailments healing. If she's actually in a tree, physically touching it for a length of time, the effect is going to be much more pronounced. A blossoming tree would suddenly bear fruit, for instance.
